So my kid did back to school vaccines with them. He got 3 shots for 5 types of vaccines with them. It was a bit wait but people seem to be nice. We double checked with them about the price we needed to pay because we didn’t have insurance back then. They all told us it’s free. Guess what, in 2 weeks, they billed us for 6 shots! So we tried to call them to tell them we were told free in the beginning and plus it was 3 shots. Their staff on the phone just said there’s no FREE vaccine and if we had any different opinion with the bill we had to go to the facility to talk….It’s quite a bit drive but not outrageous high bill. So we just paid. But we are very unhappy about telling us free and then overcharged us for wrong shots! Just be aware.

Very unprofessional, being some kind of front desk staff does not make you royalty, please stop the gossiping and just help the patients in whatever they need. The level of care is abysmal. For starters, it takes over an hour to get ahold of a human being on the phone to make an appointment. Then you can only see someone a week or two out. Not good when you are acutely ill. To make matters worse, it’s impossible to find parking—it can take up to 30 minutes to get parked. If you’re looking for good health care, I advise you to keep looking.

The care here has definitely declined. I have been waiting for an appt when i found out i was pregnant. They scheduled me almost a month later and after my visit today I literally still no NOTHING. no due date nothing. They send you for lab work but the lab staff is always having their own conversations instead of diligently working causing you to wait unnecessarily because they would rather chat than work. 10/10 would recommend finding alternate care if possible

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Sure, it can be busy and the wait can be long, but no longer than any other doctors office. As long as you are aware that you are only one of many people who need medical care and plan accordingly for check ups and other health maintenance, theyre awesome. Even when I have had an urgent matter, theyve managed to schedule me within a week or two. The best thing about this place is the services of a case manager for those who have a mental health issues. My case manager has helped me so, so, so much. Ive had better experiences at Community Care than Ive had at any other medical facility, and Im thankful for everything that theyve done for me.

I do understand that this is a state funded institution however the quality of service provided shouldnt be this mediocre.I dont know how management treat medical staff however the people that work here act as mercenaries: counting their hours and coins, not in this business to help people.Health care and education are some of the hardest jobs people should get into if ONLY they have the calling.

The NP that I met with was great. Unfortunately, it took me reaching out multiple times to get any info regarding my test results and referrals. Even after having a referral sent INTERNALLY, I have yet to hear back from that department and its been over a week. Be an advocate for your own health because if you dont, you will be waiting for a call that wont come.

The person in the front desk we just talk to gave false information send us to downtown clinic and said there is dentist which is not true , just to avoid from doing her job and stay the late shift assisting people get their ache teeth checked, gave us unconnected phone number , it’s been terrible here since the last years but now they have trained stuff telling lies.So here is an update don’t call this clinic call the South / ben white dental / southeast dental phone line if you want to go thru in to this clinic ,, they didn’t look on the system and the same unprofessional person sitting all day in front of her device can’t look and see what availability they got and just giving 1 month appointment from the air and when asking what next month she is like we don’t know until next week , we called the Ben white clinic and they let us in for appointment after only 2 hours and we just call south clinic and we find an appointment next week!!!!!

My experience has been horrible. If I could give a negative star, I would. The Doctor is great but the support staff is negligent, complacent and unprofessional . My 9 months old had an appointment today at 0840 so I took a day off to take her to this appointment and when I got there they told us that we don’t have an appointment today. It got rescheduled because doctor called in sick. And they don’t even think it’s important to inform us. We waited for like 15mins outside in this cold weather and got nothing . Horrible place. There name is community care but they don’t care about anyone.

I’ve had nothing but bad experiences at this clinic. When I first found out I was pregnant it took forever to get an appointment. Then I was reschedule for being late by 5 minutes. The next instance I had a UTI turned kidney infection and came down with a fever and chills. Instead of telling me go to the ER they made me wait 24 hours and speak to multiple nurses before telling me to go to the ER... in my second trimester of pregnancy. Once again I was late (by a few minutes) and they rescheduled me until next week. If you want quality care and to make sure your unborn child is safe and healthy DO NOT COME HERE. They could care less about seeing you regularly as I’ve seen my OB once before this is 28 weeks. Horrible horrible practice. I might as well have this child on my own at home.

This place has terrible customer service. I called yesterday at 4:40 (apparently they close at 5) and the operator kept disconnecting the line/ hanging up on me. Today I call and their answering machine says they’re in a meeting. It’s be great to speak to a representative about my health. These people claim to care about your health; ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

So if we schedule an appointment and come in 5 minutes late, our appointment gets cancelled and we’ll have to reschedule. When we do show up on time/early for our appointment, it’s okay for them to take their sweet time before the doctor calls us in hours after our scheduled time.

This place is a mess. My appointment yesterday was over an hour late to start, the doctor was pretty dismissive of my concerns, and then his write-up didnt have the proper information in it (citing a shoulder injury, when I had corrected him multiple times that it was NOT my shoulder). Waste of 3 hours yesterday. Went in this morning for the lab work...arrived before 7, when they open. Got checked in, and was told to sit and wait. I waited for 45 minutes before I got up to ask. The lady calling people into the lab showed me her list, noting they had not skipped a single person...but I wasnt even on it. Absolute clown fiesta.

After 2 month suffering 😪 with toothache, I decided to see a dentist in Cummunity care Braker ( I dont have insurance and can see dentist in private ) I called and fixed an appointment for next day. Next day, the front desk staff was amazing and respectful. Then the Doctor😫. I had a very bad toothache with 4 teeth and she just examined only one teeth and she decided to take it out. I asked for other teeth that had very bad pain, she said you must schedule another appointment for every tooth, what about the pain ? She said nothing... can u fix the teeth ? No answer just if u want fix them perfectly GO and see private dr. I didnt had any answer for her ... just leaved .........🤕🤕🤕 after 2 months still have toothache and now more pain in my ears and headache 🙃. oh God .......

They have lost paperwork with my personal/health information. The referrals for the specialist have not scheduled my appts and its been weeks since the referrals were requested. Calling on the phone is a job and the average hold time for me has been 45min - 1hr. Once someone does answer they usually hang up and I have to start the ptocess agaun. If you have any serious health issues you would be betterr just going to the ER.

I work for a company that, unfortunately, regularly does business with these clinics. I spend a MINIMUM of 30 minutes on hold (and that is like the happiest version of the story) to get transferred to the correct office to discuss paperwork that needs to be filled out on mutual patients. About 80% of the time when I am finally transferred to the office they pick up the phone and hang it up. Or they answer and cant hear me and hang up. This happens multiple times a week. Calling any of these clinics is actually the worst part of my job, I dread every interaction with them.

The only reason they get one star is because my son loves his doctor. However, he is continually running out of his medication because the staff is unresponsive. I am at the mercy of the call center to relay my message to the correct location, and then at the mercy of that administrative staff to deliver the message to the doctor, and then for the doctor to actually have time to respond.I can deal with the two month wait for an appointment, with the rude front desk staff, the crowded and noisy waiting room. But I cannot deal with being ignored by the people who have my sons health in their hands.Update 2/9/18: Three weeks later and I am STILL trying to get my sons medication, as I currently sit on hold again trying to follow up on the message I have already left to please have his prescription called in to the pharmacy. The one she already called in has expired because of delays in paperwork, caused by them.Another update 2/9/18: After finally getting through to the call center, I was transferred to the prescription assistance program. After 10 more minutes on hold with them, the only answer I could get was I dont know their schedule, I am only a call center, I dont work in the office with the doctors, so I cant tell you when they are going to respond to your messages. Unacceptable.Update 3/27/18: Finally got my sons medication. The doctor wont call in his next refill until she sees him, which is perfectly understandable and actually expected. However, the next available appointment is not for three months. The call center left a message with the doctor at 9am yesterday. They called me back at 6:15pm, while I was in the restroom, so I missed the call. When I immediately called back, the lady that answered transferred me to a voicemail without saying anything. So I left another message. I called again today at 2pm, sat on hold for more than half an hour, and got disconnected in the process of trying to find out who is supposed to be calling me back. Now I have to call the call center AGAIN to sit on hold AGAIN since no one has called me back after disconnecting. This is a nightmare!Update 4/3/18: I still have not been able to get our appointment rescheduled after calling for over a week. Waiting on a callback now, but do not have high hopes.

Sure, the program is helpful as far as low co pays and such. However, the fact that you cant get anyone to answer a phone is ridiculous. Ive waited 45 mins and finally went with the option to hold your spot in line and they will call you back....but of course they never called me back. To make appointments is near impossible, and when you finally do they will call you 3 days in a row to reschedule it and then make you wait two hours after the appointment time. I went 5 weeks without an appointment after they didnt schedule my appointment correctly. This is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what Im doing. Instead of guiding me, they asked me if I had done labs that I never knew I needed. How am I supposed to know what labs and when I should get them done? I am literally writing this review as I wait on my second hour here. The doctors and nurses are nice, but the actual way the place is being run is a complete and utter disaster. I have been trying to get my records transferred to a different clinic, but I cannot get a hold of anyone. I am so disappointed....

I feel that accepting MAP makes it easy for some providers to do cash grab appointments and testing. Also if you want your confidential information to remain confidential then this is not the place for you. One counselor in particular totally violated my trust and then took my doctor down the same rabbit hole. I would call this a discrace to the profession. If I could give zero stars I would.

I am only rating one star because there is nothing lower than that.A girl named Christina that takes your weight and blood pressure has a big problem listening to the patients. She gets frustrated easily and starts having an attitude where she works even harder to not listen to you.She throws her authority around by threatening to call security on me while I was asking her to get on with my appointment instead of going on about something that didnt even matter at the moment. I was even sitting in a chair with my legs crossed and one arm on the table in a blood pressure band and the other on my lap. She had no reason to threaten me. My mother was there and she was telling me how to talk to my own mother!Christina needs to check her attitude and frustrations at the door.She sucks at her job and should find a profession that doesnt involve interacting with people.This is the third time she has treated me this way. Twice when my mother was there and once with my husband.Stay away from her.

I didnt have to wait but maybe 5 minutes. The people who work here are also incredible friendly and seem to all get along like family, I constantly heard laughter, the general feeling was happiness. Aside from good vibes, the nurses and dentist involved in my visit were competent and thorough and the place was spotless. I think the people who complain just have bad health so naturally, they hate clinics.

Rude and not helpful. These people will tell first timers to sign in and not inform them of where they need to go or what room to wait in to be called. This poor lady was sitting outside the room and had to re sign in because the front desk lady in the main hallway didn’t tell her anything useful. My girlfriend and I would have had to do the same thing if we didn’t pick up on that and ask. The nurse was rude and rough with my girlfriend when drawing blood. Not a place I want to return to. I understand it’s a community health clinic dealing with a lot of people with hardly the means to pay for healthcare or insurance, but the people that work here need to have some compassion for other human beings trying to get by.

This place should not even be a health center! Everyone there is rude and for the most part doesnt know what theyre doing. If you go there plan on having no privacy at all. All your health issues that you address to your doctor that should be only between you and your doctor, will be shared with other nurses and other doctors and your privacy WILL BE VIOLATED! My doctor just addressed one of my concerns and walked out and moved onto the next patient. I had a scheduled appointment and my appointment should be 30 minutes but the doctor only gave me 5 minutes and walked off. It wasnt even my primary doctor although I was scheduled with my primary doctor. I talked to the nurses there and they told me that the doctor will come back to see you but they had me wait for an hour and she never came. I then asked to speak to the supervisor and they told me no one was there but when I kept on waiting they had a supervisor come just to kick me out and tell me where the exit is. She was no help and was very disrespectful. If you want to be MISTREATED then this is the best place to go. You can see other reviews to verify that this place has very bad customer service! No one deserves to go there and be treated this way!

My partner has literally called everyday for over a week for lab and ultrasound results. She has a critical condition that could easily worsen if not treated and the call center staff while friendly is not knowledgeable and simply transfer you from nurse to clinic and clinic to nurse. These are unacceptable practices for a medical care facility. I have suggested that she set up an appointment with REAL doctors and have them request her results and records and also that she seek legal representation as this could have all been avoided had her PCP referred her when requested and also the blatant disregard and negligence of following up with the results of her tests.

Horrible service. The security service on Saturday 12/7/19 the lady was rude.. with lack of communication and states there is only one doctor so if you dont have an appointment you cant be seen. Really at 8:03 AM I Cant be seen or make an appointment?!? I work in the community with the homeless community and transitional housing... this seems to be the practice here of rude and lack of empathy and compassion!!!

The pediatrics here are great, however the psychiatric services are lacking to say the least. My son, who has a sensory disorder, went in to see a psychiatrist for a referral to a behavioural counsellor. The need for a sign- off was pretty basic, but the Skype appointment rubbed me the wrong way.Other than that though, the pediatrician they see there is amazing and very respectful. We love her!!!!

Asked how much long they stated it was another patient ahead of me. Is there a scheduling problem here or lack of time management. I went here to get some lab work done on Thursday morning. One of the test is to see if I have GERD. She briefly explains the test but not properly. And she does the explanation real quick. She stated after my first failed attempt that a lot of folks dont do this test properly. If you know that folks dont perform this lab test properly then you either need to take the time to fully explain it AND demonstrate it without rushing the instructions.When I took the second (final one), she did the same thing and almost scolded me (made me feel dumb) for not doing it properly again.Perhaps, maybe folks should get some written reminders or instructions before going to the lab. Its safe to say that I wont be back.

NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONES! Not for patients. Not for Pharmacists. Apparently not for anyone. My pharmacist sat on hold for 90 minutes today before I finally gave up and left the pharmacy. Ive sat on hold for 30 minutes several times, before giving up. Other than that its a good clinic, but this is a BIG problem.

I filled one of my teethes down there with doctor Chin she is an Asian looking women next day I felt that my teeth is very sharp and when I move my tongue it hurts and it feels that my teeth cuts my tongue so I went back to the doctor and this is what she told me don’t move your tongue it looks fine to me and I got no help beside that she was rude trying to stop you when you talk.

For those whove seen the Seinfeld episode about the Soup Nazi, where you can only pray youll get service, youll have a good idea of what it is like to schedule appointments. If you are on any kind of public health program, forget it (MAP, Obamacare, Medicare, etc). You have to wait a couple of months, or call back to be slotted in to a cancellation - and even then, you cant have a follow-up for at LEAST 2 weeks by policy. Huh?

I arrived this location 30 minutes before My appointment and I have waited for about 50 minuets which is 1hr and 20 minuets totally. The customer service at front desk is poor.I have seen people coming behind me and served. I asked the front desk what’s going on, and I was told the doctors getting behind. It doesn’t make sense because they called many people who came after my me but not me.I felt that I was threatened unfairly.

Cant get in to see a doctor for months at a time so you better hope your medication works the first time and you also better hope you like the first doctor you see because if not you have to request to see another doctor which has to be reviewed and approved (with a 72hr waiting period) by other doctors. Then that appointment wont be for several months as well. Crazy!

Worse Experience I have every had for a normal Dr appt for a physical and prescription refill. Got here early at 4pm to fill out any paperwork needed. Appt was at 4:20 PM. Waited in the Lobby for over an hour. Then back to a small stuffy room for another hour and a half. By then the clinic was technically closed. It was about 6:38pm. Dr comes in after I opened the door to complain about what the hell was taking so long. She finally came in and apologized for running behind due to a difficult patient earlier. Running behind really???. Said they would call in the refills and decided since now the lab was closed we should fo a fasting lab and return Saturday Morning at 8am. They will get u in and out. Well we arrived at 7:45am and their was about 15 people already waiting. We were finally done at 9:15am. Still have to schedule a follow up after the labs so we can get the annual physical done that we originally came for. What a hassle. Long and drawn out. Complete disorganization. Very frustrated and disappointed in the lack of service.

I was in absolute need of a refill for my inhaler and was given an appointment a month later when I clearly stated I needed the medication ASAP. I could have dealt with a week later but one month? Absolutely insane. I also had a refill for that medication at an HEB but they DENIED it saying I need to see a doctor first to get the approved medication.Lastly, the doctors tone while visiting was absolutely arrogant and rude. Very unprofessional. The only good doctor that worked there was a Dr. Stout. It was unfortunate she left but now I understand seeing the terrible staff they have working there.

I wish I could give a negative starred review. Not only did they not finish the dental procedure that they started, but they pulled a decaying tooth and gave me NO antibiotics, which landed me in the ER two days after they ripped my tooth out with an infection so severe that my jaw was swollen shut. The infection had spread up to my ear and all around the underside of my jaw. If this is your only place to go for dental work, then save yourself the trouble and get some pliers and do the dental work yourself. Youll have a much more positive experience.

No one answers the phone at this place. Impossible to make an appointment unless I physically walk in. If I can successfully get in touch with a human, I usually cant book an appointment until a month or two in the future. I wouldnt be surprised if people died trying to book or wait for an appointment at this place.

This place is a nightmare. During my first visit I asked if they needed me to transfer my file from my previous doctor and they said no. This doesn’t make any sense because every doctor I’ve ever worked with wants to see previous medical files. I’ve had a lot of test done in the past so it would only make sense. Another isssue is that they never added their company to my insurance. I can’t get referrals to other practices. My medical issues are getting worse so I decided to schedule an appointment with another doctor.

Im sorry to see so many negative reviews of this clinic. My experience here has always been very good. Yes, there is often a long hold time on the phone, and yes, the waiting rooms do have children, but the staff has always been very polite, and all the providers Ive had over the five years Ive been a patient here have been very caring and competent. They never rush, they listen, and they take the time to explain things. Theyve also been open to debate on my health issues when I havent agreed with their ideas. When you have an unusual, chronic illness, the practioner who will listen and be willing to learn is worth his or her weight in gold, and Ive met many like that here. And so, I dont mind the minor inconveniences that are probably an inescapable fact of life in a public clinic. Im just very glad they are here.

I work at Bastrop Medical Clinic and was needing to schedule an apt for one of our patients he had gone as a walk in first and was told that the clinic had to schedule it for him, when i called to schedule it I was on the phone with CommUnityCare for OVER AN HOUR, finally gave up and called Lone Star Circle Of Care and was only on the phone for 5 minutes before I had to talk to someone and was able to schedule our patient within the next day, personally I think NOBODY should wait on the phone for over an hour to schedule an apt, it is such a waste of time.

I had an appointment today with Dr. Ramos at 1:30 pm at the North Community Care on Braker lane. One day prior, I recieved a confirmation call that my appt was at 1:30 pm. I arrived at that time and signed into the kiosk and it said my appointment was at 1 pm. I was forced to make another appt. for Oct 24th. This appt was to get a referral for an x-ray on my right foot. During my last visit in June 2018, I advised Dr. Ramos I thought I had a fractured bone in my right foot. Dr. Ramos ordered the x-ray for my left foot Not the the correct foot! It took almost 3 months to get someone to respond to my request to have my referral changed. This is unacceptable, low quality healthcare!!

I usually dont do reviews but I just took my daughter to get her shot and the nurse was horrible since she called us in she was so rude and when she gave my daughter her shot she just stung her with the needle because i saw the whole liquid on her leg i honestly dont think any of it went in and she just stood there and said its ok whatever went in works I get we all have bad days but my daughter is 18 months if you choose to be a nurse and work with kids its because you like it.I will not be taking my daughter back there.

I couldnt even get an appointment with a doctor, they assigned me to a nurse practioner, Cynthia Venecia, who was terrible. Not only did she mix up my medications, but she rushed me through the office visit and did not address my questions properly.

Nonexistent provider patient relationships. Have state insurance? Watch out theyll get authorizations for things theyve never seen you for. They want you in and out no one wants to hear what wrong with you. Worst medical care ever. All for the money.

So the first thing i hear is to listen carefully bc the options have changed. But I called their number as a NEW patient so that should not have been an issue... But the new menu press 3 for appointments press 4 for eligibility information and even the press 7 or 9 or whatever for hours and locations ALL FORWARDED ME to an AUTOMATED PRESCRIPTION REFILL SYSTEM, which not only sucked, but IT HUNG UP ON ME! 5 phone calls in a row!! All pressing different options... theres not even a voicemail so i can contact them for later! Dialed 0 for a human, and Im posting this review so what you think happened? So the only remaining option (unless i want to see a dentist?!) tf.. The only button left is to press 2 if i am calling from a physicians office which Im clearly not and Id like to think theyd at least have a voicemail is ACTUAL DOCTORS tried to call.... but I have an inkling that it will also send me to the black hole of automated refills but in reality just immediate hangups too. I even tried it in Spanish (Im almost fluent). Igualmente dificíle.. Im going to their website to see if there are actual humans involved with this clinic. I agree with one of the other posters, Im surprised more people arent dead due to the outright NEGLIGENT customer service. Total waste of my morning. Terrible. Awful. I think the overall star rating (not just mine) speaks for itself. Maybe its a walk in clinic only now? No way to make appointments?!! Other than walking in. Which is not an appointment. Its a walk in. I get that are overwhelmed or whatever but PLEASE make a voicemail at least or anything. Change anything. And the physicians themselves could be absolutely amazing individuals! Thats the sad part. We just cant communicate with them because of the newly updated so listen carefully menu. Terrible experience already and I havent even talked to anyone!! 😳😓

The help desk isnt helpful and the nurses/cmas for the family medicine clinic here were awful. I was told if Im late for my appointment they would not see me but I waited for 45 minutes after asking what was taking so long to which a lady responded you can re-schedule if you want I left without being seen and scheduled an appointment with another doctors office.

This is only a comment for the OB dept of this clinic, the blood tech was wonderful btw. I would rate this only a half star because our nurse practitioner was *awesome*, our doctor however, lied to us to get our pregnancy to happen according to her ideology. I dont mean professional theory, I mean opinion. This will not be *your* pregnancy it will be hers. Only after our 2nd child with a competent doctor have we noticed how indifferent our doctor was to our pregnancy.Story time? Ok. It started great, our nurse practitioner talked to my wife about getting a voluntary c-section(1/3 births are c-section today. For emergency c-sections, my heart and hopes go out to you), nurse said Great, well get an ultrasound going on your next visit with your Dr.(please forgive the lack of naming the doctor, I cant find her on the website and we met... very briefly. She was short, long blonde hair, later 40s. The staff may remember.)Next visit our doctor shuffled in and she hardly made eye contact, told us almost immediately that were unsure about if voluntary c-sections are an option in this day and age and when confronted her with that we would prefer the surgery honey, you need get used to not being in control. We pressed on, because we are not nincompoops, about our decision and Well, I dont know what the policy is (90 second phone call confirmed her to be full of snit, they do offer elective c-section). She silently walked to the ultrasound room with us glancing at each other as if to say, do people just pretend to care about pregnant women. We got there and she zipped across my wifes abdomen saying yup, theres the hamburger, that our daughter was

VERY BAD. On February 5,2015, I called for an initial appt to set up primary care. Found out they have a call center that sets appts. You can not call clinic directly. They said the soonest appt time was on March 3, 2015 at 5:30pm (a month later). I patiently waited a month. Then on March 2, 2015 (day before my appt) I received a call from Community Care reminding me of my appt. At 5pm on the day of my appt, I called to confirm my appt location & the gentleman that answered the call (at the call center) told me that I was NOT scheduled.He stated I was in the system but not scheduled. He was nice & he tried to figured out what went wrong but could not. He told me he could set another appt for March 27(another month to wait). I told him I did not trust that when that date came, I would show up as having an appt. So, I called back the next morning & a young lady pulled up my name & appt time very quickly. She stated she did not know why her co-worker could not find it. I asked if they could fit me in due to their mistake & she told me no. She went on saying she could schedule another appt, which would be another month or so. For this reason, I rate Community Care a one. THIS OPERATION IS NOT RECOMMENDED. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO COMMUNITY CARE> WASTE OF TIME.
