Very friendly staff. They know all of their residents by name and even their guests that visit. The place is very clean and it feels like youre visiting a 5 star hotel. The food tastes great and we love visiting on Sunday buffet days when there is a wide variety of options available. The apartments are very open on the independent living side, enough room to have family and friends stay for a while. There are lots of activities for the residents and things to keep busy.

Surrounded by natural beauty, a caring staff and the friendliest people on the planet, I have found stress-free living at Longhorn Village. There are plenty of first-rate amenities, activities and entertainment and even the food is great. Love it here.

My wife and I have lived here almost a year and we love it. We were welcomed with open arms by everyone we met and the staff is surperb. It has been cruise ship living every day.

A very nice place, but the buy-in is quite costly at around $800,000 or more. The food allowance is $400/ mo. I would expect such an upscale facility to include all meals and snacks as do other less expensive places.

There are some occasional disconnects between staff, patients and families. Some staff have significant accountability issues and fail to understand the implications of their bad decisions while simultaneously ignoring family requests. I urge anyone placing their loved ones into a facility like this to actively participate in the care of their loved ones to mitigate any issues that may arise. Also, pay attention to whats going on - if you identify staff thats unsuitable for the care of your family member, insist that they stay away.Staff aside, the facility is quite nice. The meals are very good, and the rooms are as comfortable as a facility like this could probably be. The parking is OK, and the security is adequate.If you can actively participate in the care of your family member, then Longhorn Village is a fine choice, especially if you live in Steiner Ranch.

Outstanding facility for assisted living, assisted nursing, and physical rehab. My Mom is staying there for rehab on her leg and arm after a fall broke her leg. Friendly staff!

It is the most beautiful place that I know for them to live. The grandparents and those who already live there are cute tender and kind and treat the travadores with carino beautiful grandparents.
