I had such a great experience! My nurse, Tess, welcomed me in and took me right to my own curtained area to change. Right away we went through legal stuff, got my iv set, and took a few meds. I then had the opportunity to meet my anesthesiologist (Dr. Parker I think), both nurses and of course my surgeon - all of this took just under an hour or so. She walked me to the OR room, and the anesthesiologist made me feel so comfortable. He let me know he was giving me something to calm my nerves and later asked if I felt it, I honestly said no and he joked well, that lets me know where youre at. The last thing I remember was him telling me to take a few deep breaths and I fell asleep. I barely remember waking up or them taking me to the car, but my husband said check was an easy process from when the nurse called him to taking me home.
