Staff assicts them in many exercises, the food is on point & the patients enjoy the different selections... The place is very sanitized & they wear masks.. a lot of activities for the patients to exercise their minds and eye to hand coordination.. the staff & patients are very nice

I love working here. I have been in the nursing field both as a CNA and now as nurse in different states. The staff work together. Even our administration help serve meal, lead activities, and know staff by name. Eden care or focus. Thank you Shalom for letting me be a part of the team.

My parents moved here from Florida to spend their last years. They were treated with respect kindness and dignity. Even when my Mom sometimes complained. Her dementia eventually had her calling the police for stolen earrings (why would someone steal only one of a pair?). ;) And the staff called me to assist. Always. With ANY issue. They lived in an apartment where in most places they would have been officially in assisted living. They had on-demand assistance. I am forever grateful. They were too. Today NO ONE has died of COVID here because of their reponsible management of care. My mother-in-law chose a different more expensive Denver home that was horrible in comparison. If either my wife or I ever need it, this is where we will come. No question.

My mother has lived at Shalom Park since July 2015. She went there after living with my spouse and I for almost 8 years, at the age of 93. She had fallen a few times in our home and it was no longer safe for her to be with us. I searched many places and was unable to find anywhere nearly as good as Shalom Park. Mom is now 95 and enjoys using their 90 degree heated pool (with assistance of course) approximately 3 times per week. It helps her legs remain as strong as possible, and she rarely complains of arthritis pain any longer. She sings in the choir and attends the many activities there as she chooses. I have actually seen her become less frail since moving in to Shalom. Shalom is kept quite clean, and mom says the food is mostly good. They really strive to make it the residents home and are very respectful of the residents and family members. The Director of Nursing and Nursing Home Administrator respond to any e-mail / phone call issues or concerns I have very quickly. Any time a health issue arises, they are on it very quickly. There are many caring people who work and volunteer there. My experience has been and continues to be very positive.

Checkout the independent living and wellness facilities. The rating is compared with other facilities in the market. Newly renovated facility makes it a great choice for a reasonable price. No food plan but has a bistro. Great views on the common areas. Event pool facility. Good and center. Clean.

I volunteered at Shalom Park on Christmas and came away IMPRESSED. This nursing home provides care according to each elders desire. What time would you like to get up? have breakfast? Have therapies? Elders on each floor eat meals in lovely dining rooms where appetizing food come hot and tasty. The staff is patient and loving. And, dogs are welcome visitors to give Elders a lift if they are open to a canine visitor.

Amazing service at the cafe, Wellness Center, front desk, and overall. The staff goes above and beyond. The facility is well maintained and beautiful on the outside and inside. Attended a conference at this site and cant wait to return for a visit sometime. I dont think I have ever been to a place with such genuinely thoughtful staff. Really stuck with me.

Wow, is about right to express our impressions of Shalom Park! We had that WoW! experience! When our mother fell during a recent visit, we wanted to find a place that would care for her during her rehabilitation. We found the perfect place for her in Shalom Park! The nursing quality and other staff were so attentive and our mother actually enjoyed her stay! While she never liked PT, they pushed and encouraged her repeatedly, gently, to get out of the room.We are very grateful for the care she received!Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My grandmother was in the care of Shalom in her last days. Prior to being there she was still coherent and even able to still walk. She had no major health issues that would deem her to a specified timeline remaining to live. Though her Parkinsons, arthritis and perhaps another was her only illnesses.  After arriving at Shalom she quickly started to deteriorate. She was no longer coherent, her eyes were glazed over and she no longer was able to walk. This facility had her pumped full of drugs, I know it led her to her death. Though I was not the main primary caregiver facilitating her care, I know with all my heart that in the few short month she was at Shalom, she quickly went from one coherent being to a zombie like person with no sense of being! This is at no level a place for anyone!  At the time of her passing I was newly pregnant and could not manage pursuing any sort of legal action against this place, but I am currently looking into the possibility of holding this facility at Shalom to be held responsible. I hope you find it in you heart to take my words as truth and not place anyone in their care as I feel it is a sure death sentence.  Thank you for reading.

Before visiting my Grand mother yesterday I would have given 4 or 5 stars on the facility and the staff are god sends for sure. Except apparently staff are allowed to live on the property and rent units with children. I find it highly irregular and disconcerting to say the least. Elder care is about respect and dignity. I do not find this meeting those qualifications.. makes me wonder what other basic norms this facility is deficient in.?

I had a horrible experience there as well. When asking the social worker to re-evaluate my mother after 2 years, I was told they rely on the nursing staff to let them know if there are problems. I was told that her cats/plants are still alive- she is fine-hasnt changed a bit. I moved her out of there the next week.
