Been to this location many, many times. Always well run and organized. New Covid policy means you run a station only with the people you show up with, which is optimally 3-5 people. Just 2 people is awkward. FMSC is a great organization with low overhead that makes a real impact. Donate 2 hours of your time!

A great experience to volunteer individually but I would do it as a team building experience to get more out of it. They buy in bulk and teams go to workstations to combine the ingredients into sealed packets and then box for distribution. Explain explain through a great video not only the process but the impact that the food makes.

A great experience. Provided a great opportunity to serve and volunteer. The organizers help in providing packaged food for starving children in the world, mostly from Africa. Clear instructions are provided, great attention is given hygiene and your work is facilitated but supervised in a friendly manner so that children do not receive contaminated food. The work is divided in clear coordinated tasks. One has a sense of satisfaction after the task. The place is replete with displays of informative and promotional materials. In addition to your time, one can donate money directly or through purchase of merchandise displayed. An enjoyable experience.

One hour is the perfect amount of time as its still fun at the end.You walk out feeling that you have actually done something and have helped someone.

My team and I went to Feed My Starving Children for a team building exercise. We became super competitive with each other and tried to outdo our other team members by filling the most manna packs for the children. We worked hard all in the name of a good cause and learned how much we can accomplish when we are all pushing hard for the cause. I strongly recommend this as a team building exercise.

This place is outstanding. Its well organized, clean and the staff are great people. They treat you the same no matter what the reason for your volunteering. Its a very fun and positive environment overall. What I also love seeing is how many kids, and teenagers are there. The younger generations ought to be introduced to this kind of stuff. After your session they will play one of their videos showing you examples of a child or children youve helped.
