My wife and I are from Long Beach California and we’re visiting here when she needed to go to The Medical Center of Aurora and ended up in the ICU with kidney problems. While we were there we were treated with both courtesy and respect. One of the ones who was so kind was Carlos who parked my car in the valet service. But most of all two nurses in the ICU department. First of all Amanda Stevenson who treated us with such wonderful care. Care that was above and beyond any nurse I have ever seen and secondly Kevin Carlin, Both Amanda and Kevin are a credit to this center.

I attended their php and iop programs, in the teens ward. which are for behavioral, mental, and emotional therapy programs, after my hospitalization at denver health ,my expirence there was great, the staff were so great and helpful, the other teens I was there with were great we build a very supportive circle thanks to them, and they helped all lg us so much they got me from my lowest point to my highest, I wanna specifically say thank you to Marissa who worked in php with me.

Horrible place! Nurses and Doctors are rude. I had two custom rings on my fingers when I was admitted and someone proceeded to steal them.

In 2020 I had to switch to The Medical Center of Aurora for my yearly mammogram based on insurance coverage and I had the procedure done in June.Two months after the mammogram I received an invoice. I called and explained this is a covered yearly wellness check and to send it through my insurance company. I called my insurance company who said it should be covered but was declined because they coded it incorrectly. They said they would review the claim/bill and contact my insurance company if needed to take care of it.Then in October of 2020 I received another bill and I called again, explain exactly the same info again, and they said they would open a review again. I called my insurance company who told me they had provided the info again about calling the provider line to get guidance on correct claim coding. I called The Med Center back again and they said not to worry, they would take care of it.In January 2021 I received yet another bill stating it was the last invoice before being sent to collections. Again I called the billing department and again they said they would open a review. I told them they had already done this and suggested they just call the insurance company provider line to get guidance on coding to get payment and get this straightened out....the customer service agent told me that my insurance company could also call them!!! I was floored!!! Dont they want to get paid? Isnt this their job?!In March 2021 I received a bill from a collections agency, even though they told me they would freeze the account so that I wouldnt have any negative impacts. I made more calls and found out they finally correctly coded procedure so that the insurance company would pay it. They told me sending it to collections was a mistake, they bill was paid, and there would be no impacts to my credit.Id like to believe this is true, but I will be following up to make sure the balance is zero and to make sure it doesnt show up on my credit report.I have no idea if this is an unusual situation or if The Medical Center of Auroras billing department is really this inept....my advice would be just dont test fate, go somewhere else. I will be driving to Boulder or Colorado Springs if I have to in order to avoid going here for any appointment or procedure ever again.

The BBB will be contacted about this facility. Absolutely disgusting how they treat the teens in their teen facility. I am also extremely appalled reviews are being removed. There are plenty of videos by parents of children who have experiences some pretty terrible things here.They need their licenses taken away, and to be shut down.

Had my baby herr. The staff from labor to delivery are amazing! All the nurses were so friendly and kind. Definitely recommend this hospital to have your baby. You will not regret it!

To the behavioral unit, why would you play hangman with potentially suicidal and vulnerable patients. The whole idea just seems extremely innapropiate.

Had my baby boy here they were awesome they treat you nicely and make sure you and your baby are always good loved that place 🥰
