Super nice employees, and decent equipment. Not a lot of squat racks though.

Used to go here yrs ago, but people werent wiping machines down even before COVID. Shut down happened and Im no longer going since a gym is one of the highest risk places to catch the illness. Its been over a year that Ive stepped into this facility and Im getting texts and calls bothering me to renew my membership even after telling them over the phone Im no longer interested.

I called because I was charged 37$ after i cancelled when i was told no more charges, they also took two payments out and tried telling me only 1 payment came out and then charged me an additional 15$ for a late fee when NO payments were late, when i asked to speak to a manager regarding my payments she said they have no manager, the girl over the phone was very rude and kept saying , nope, no, no when i asked if there is anyone else i can speak too. this is my second time cancelling my membership because of the charges.

I’ve been to many crunch gyms, this one is definitely an older one but quite spacious. I usually go in the morning 6-8am and it’s never busy which is great, equipment is always available. Access to wipes, and locker rooms(men’s) is always clean. Yes, some people don’t wear masks but I keep mine on... so it doesn’t really bother me. To clarify the majority to wear their masks. Staff is friendly enough so I’d recommend.

I have to rate it 1 star for now. I hope to change it soon.Everything about the place is great: the equipment, the quality, the cleanliness. Except that more than half the people in there arent wearing masks properly, if on their face at all, and there is nobody reinforcing it past the front desk.Now, I cant point my finger at a teenager working behind the desk for not standing up to one of their peers. I would be intimidated too.I hope they put dedicated hours in place for only those who are vaccinated and need to show a card. If not, then Ill be looking to go somewhere else

Great gym, good size, clean, not crowded. Good place for free weights, cardio machines, free workout in 30 yard open area. Have not tried the classes. Good bargain price.

If you feel that at the gym you are currently going to is always crowding or not enough machines...think CRUNCH fitness.It has amazing workout classes, tanning booths and even a hydro massage table....there are so many machines and never crowded like other close by places.very clean and has a great vibe to it! Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful!!

I decided to go back to the gym despite covid. Before I renewed my membership I wanted to check out what new protocols were in place first. NOTHING CHANGED! I passed by brightly highlighted boards that said stuff like masks mandatory and safety first! only to find half the gym with masks half on or not on at all. There were no new disinfectant stations to wipe machines down but noone was wiping down stations anyway. I complained to the manager, he thanked me for letting him know and said hed look into it. The gym is not that big, he could have literally turned around and looked into it from the front desk. With plenty of staff on hand there was no reason for this irresponsibility. I wouldnt go back if they paid me now. Its not worth getting sick when other gyms are at least doing the bare minimum.

Amazing Customer Service! My account was accidently sent to collections due to a clerical error. I received the collections letter in the mail today 01/11/2021. I went over to Crunch in person and spoke with the Manager Pete Williams, who went above and beyond to service my needs. Pete was attentive, listened to my concerns, and was able to provide information about the clerical error. Pete took it upon himself to call his boss to explain the situation and remedy a solution. Pete was apologetic and took ownership of the situation, even though this clerical error was not even his fault. Pete is a Rockstar Manager. I am so thankful and grateful for Pete. Once I am fully healed from my back injury I will be a member of Crunch Fitness again. Thank you so much for your time today Pete! It is people like Pete who make this world a better place! Evening everyone, I would like to say the staff in Aurora were Very Profesional but shoutout to the main man who helped me out which was Pete. Outstanding character, guy I would personally have a beer with. Never met the guy before and it was a great time talking to him about sports, injuries, and training. Only thing missing at Crunch is a Hack Squat machine.. other than that, solid place.Pete is the man to ask for.

They talk about policy when I saw 10 year old at the gym bringing in guess and the manager lies to me saying that be told my the 18+ policy for the guest when it was the 1st time Also NO ONE WEARS MASK!!!!

I joined Crunch Fitness because it was close and offered cheaper membership options than several other gyms near me. There were problems from the beginning. The level of membership I signed up for allowed me to join classes. After four weeks in a row of arriving only to find classes being canceled without notice or being told the trainer isnt present, I decided to lower my membership just to general gym use. Then the billing issues began. It took several rounds of calls and physically having to stop in to resolve the drop in pay for my membership (literally weeks to correct). Fast forward to after the shelter-in-place restrictions lifted and gyms were allowed to reopen, I called requesting that my membership canceled once I noticed billing had resumed (C.F. had charge 2 monthly fees and their annual fee). The manager refused to refund anything even when I asked only for the annual fee, not monthly fees to be returned. He told me to give my time I purchased to someone else to use on their behalf. After I indicated that I would leave reviews for Crunch Fitness and my experience with them, the manager then claimed I was trying to Black mail him. I would not recommend this company.

I belong to Christ had a different state. I’m in town visiting family and I’m going to the gym. I have never seen so much the parkway. My favorite machine is the elliptical. The ones they have do you not even pause to let you flip from going forward to reverse. It also turns out it resets the second you stop and there’s no grace period. I have worked out for over 20 years and I have always loved an elliptical and I have never in my life had so many problems! This is extremely disappointing. Also my gym in another state due to corona does way more to try to keep it clean and this Jim has done nothing ever since this pandemic from what I can see. Extremely disappointing!

I came in November 2019 to cancel my membership as I was moving over an hour away. I was told my contract was a non-renewal and would automatically stop at the end of the year. I have been charged over $150 in 2020. I drove 90 minutes to get to the club to resolve this issue, I was told to email a manager and they could take care of it. I drove 90 minutes back home. Sent the email and in 5 days Ive not received a response at all. Your staff would be on their knees if theyre taking my credit card for a payment, if I want to stop payments they would rather do anything but help. This is not customer service, this is a criminal act. Im sick of dishonest clubs like Crunch that steal from the members that support their business!

Nice place. Had a few things that needed repairing that took a while but for the price and quality, no concerns. I do wish it had WiFi though, but other than that - does what I need it too.

Really great Facility: very clean and the staff is friendly. Lots of free weights and cardio equipment. They usually have classes as well, but at the moment due to Covid 19 they are postponed. I love the hydromassage after my workouts. I highly recommend Crunch Fitness Aurora to anyone who wants to stay fit and healthy! When you go there ask for Keith. He will help you to get on the right track on your fitness journey!

Nice new equipment but the place shut off every last light on us at 6:55 pm on a Saturday. No warning signal from anyone over any speaker. People kept working out trying to finish their reps in complete darkness. What sort of gym closes at 7 on a weekend? You won’t keep customers doing strange things like this.

Clean, plenty of sanitation stations, good variety of equipment, never too bust when I go, havent had gym junkies mansplaining my workout to me yet which is a plus

If I could give no stars I would. I purposely signed up for the membership with no contract. When I went to cancel my membership I went in and was told the manager was busy signing up other people. I was given an email and told to email him. He sent back later that day or the next that my membership was cancelled. SURPRISE!!!! 2 weeks later and Im still being billed. Went in that day and finally spoke to the mysterious manager and was given the old nonsense about having to cancel a certain period before being billed again but of course was never told any of this before. The shadiest part is that there is no corporate service phone number!!! If you have an issue, you have to deal with the people who cause the issue in the first place. My next step is contacting the Better Business Bureau. Stay away from this place as its just another shady gym!!

Very happy with the service we received from Crunch Fitness and its staff. For major reasons my husband and I werent able to continue to come to this gym.But most definitely we will be returning soon, a special thanks to David who was very professional and was able to assist us.Highly recommend this place.

They do have a lot of hidden fees and tricks so be careful also they will never admit to being wrong no matter what the fee is it will somehow be your fault.

Nice neighborhood gym with friendly staff that fits my budget. Never over crowded but does have a lot members coming and going to suit their schedule. Classes offered with personal trainers. Plenty of weights and equipment to get in a good workout.

Open to the public and I would recommend this place to friends.

Member here for about two years.The gym has been well maintained and managed since I’ve been coming here.The facility is always clean and bathrooms are very nice and serviced.The cost is very reasonable for what you get. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This gym has everything you need. I especially like that they have a stretching area. They also have stuff to sanitize which is very important to me.

Great gym from what Ive experienced so far! David was extremely thorough with my membership when I signed up last week, made sure to explain everything, and made me feel really welcome. I love how clean and organized this gym is, hoping that is kept up throughout the entire time it is in business! Staff is very welcoming and encouraging as well; had one of the trainers come up to me at the end of my workout just to ask how it went! No strings attached, just a good conversation.

I have been a member at all of the major gyms but enjoyed my time at Crunch Fitness more than larger facilities. Everything was well maintained and the equipment was very nice and new. Had everything you need to reach your fitness goals.

Just went in with my mom (who has a membership) and cousin because she was told by someone who works there that she could bring in 2 guests for the month of January. I don’t have a membership, but I thought this would be the prefect time to try it. I had my gym clothes on and drove in from Naperville. At the door, I was turned away by David the manager (wearing a blue shirt) who said that my mom could only bring in one guest and the only option I had was to sign up for a membership. It seems my mom got some misinformation about the 2 guests. So then I asked David “since I am already here, can I just come in and give it a try?” I was then told by David “you have already tried this gym before, haven’t you?” Now, I think I came in one time before with my mom in the summer of 2017 so David must have a great memory if that is what he was referring to. Anyways, David did not seem to want my membership and so no problem, I will not join. There are a lot of gyms out there who I am sure would let me try the gym for one day. I wanted to put this out there just in case somebody was thinking of going in to try the gym. Make sure that time you try it out, you remember how it is because there will not be another chance (according to David). Thanks a lot for reading this and have a great day!!!

I really like this facility and the yoga classes are amazing! Love both the instructors Madhu and Christa, and I am so glad that these classes are offered almost everyday!

The place isn’t bad at all. Typical. The only thing that has not been consistent has been the customer service. Dull and often times less than friendly front desk. Otherwise the gym is basic & functional. Management is very friendly!

No one at the desk to answer questions. Looked like it could be fantastic, but 2 attempts for information with no service.

Once I cancelled, I was having debt collectors call me for $50 dollars from Crunch Fitness saying I owe them from my account. I have been in contact with Crunch and was told when I went in to cancel that I already had cancelled and everything was taken care. However, to my surprise a bill was being racked up in the mean time. Crunch has told me they would take care of it; a month later I Had gotten nothing from anyone at the Gym regarding their “billing department” taking care of their mistake.

I liked their service and their staffs were attentive. Bathrooms was clean and so as the towel. Machines were in good condition too.

About 4 months ago I attempted to cancel my membership, but after checking my bank statements, Im still being charged (yeah, i need to get better at checking those things more regularly...). Today I called to cancel and was told that Id need to come in to the offices, to which I replied that I do not live in the states (why do I need to be in the office to cancel my membership? Have Crunchs systems made it out of the 1900s?). I was told that the membership was cancelled and then I requested a confirmation email. I have yet to receive this email. The staff and management here are a fresh breath of air after experiencing and working for the competition in the region. Hellos and Goodbyes are guaranteed. No manager is good enough to get down and clean windows, equipment etc. Overall its a great management team and it trickles down to the rest of the staff.

Great gym, great experience! Im not sure what people are referring to below when they say that theyve had problems with the sign-up, membership, not getting forms, etc. I found David to be very up-front and thorough about the fees, membership benefits, etc. and all of the documents for my membership were sent to my e-mail. I am always greeted when I walk in, and usually get a good bye on my way out. Elda is great in the mornings, too. Great facility, too--its clean but youd expect that from a brand new place.

Very nice people, especially David and his wife. Place is big, lots of machines, and clean. Im a Base member and paid up front for the entire year, which is cheaper. I wish I had more time to work out, but I love how this place is only 5 min from my house as well!

This gym is a joke when it comes to fees being refunded. They give you the run around and no results. My card was charged $188 when it was not supposed to be charged bc the Manager David said he was waiving all fees due to a lack of misunderstanding when we signed up for one month to try it out. There is definitely something not right here with this gym. Ive been waiting for my refund for 2 weeks and still nothing. I dont care how close to home this gym is I definitely wont go back after this experience. And I would tell everyone to stay AWAY!*UPDATE*I got a response back to email them regarding this issue. I emailed and guess what!? They never responded back to my email. This is ridiculous. This place steals money from you!!!!!!!!

Made the switch from Xsport Fitness. Clean facility, Great equipment, & great staff. Sign up process is easy and painless. No hidden fees. Everything is laid out for you so you know what your signing. Only complaint is the hours on Friday & weekends closing at 7.

To be clear $15/mo is a fair price for the facility access.I signed up here because it was close and the price was really fair. $25 sign up includes first month great.I just go in lift some weights and get out so its perfect.2 months later I see a charge for $49. I called the gym as I thought it was a mistake as they overcharged my wife a time or two, but simply reversed the charges.I called and asked to talk to a manager and was told one was not available, but asked if he could help. The guy I spoke with had an accent from what I hear ge is actually one of the owners. When I called and inquired he immediately went to a what seemed a rehearsed response and said the second line you signed gives us the right to charge a $49/yr annual cleaning charge you signed it. I said ok Id just like to see it...long story short I picked up a copy of my signed contract. I believe them to have added this fee after I signed the contract. I added an image to show my initials on the for the fee.

Gym is really small and a lot of the equipment is dated if you want to get a good workout stay away , music from small group training interfere with my workout all the time

Locker rooms are well lighted and clean. Staff is friendly and have good knowledge. I like the idea of having automatic dispensing water to fill up your own bottles. It is filtered and the area is clean. There is huge scope of improvement with lights on main floor. Main floor seems bit dark and low on light. Zumba area should have doors so that people running on treadmill can listen to their own music. Most of the times I end up running on the beats of Zumba music ;)

Ill start by saying that I really dont want to write a negative review, but the situation has left not many options. I love the facility, it is a very nice facility and the equipment is top notch. I workout here nearly every morning, but over the last couple of months, this place has gone downhill very quickly. In one month, at least 6 times, the person responsible for opening the gym has not shown up at 5:00AM to open the building and left many people waiting for hours for the doors to open. This is unacceptable for paying customers with hours clearly posted. We have a limited window to work out in the mornings, sacrificed sleep to get up and come at 5:00AM and the person responsible cant be bothered to show up. This is not an isolated occurrence, it is happening at least once a week at this point and the management has done nothing to resolve it, and it also not even responding to emails regarding the issue. I believe this is unacceptable on many levels. So, as long as this is a problem, I have to give this 1 star review and look for a new place to work out where I know theyll be open.

I used to belong to their competitor (PF) but I enjoy the machines at Crunch more. They have more machines, less restrictions, and I get an overall better workout.

They cool but they dont let anyone else touch the aux cord no matter what the time. If they did dancers would descend rapidly

The manager is a scammer. Tried to cancel a membership because the hours of operation no longer worked with my work schedule but I got stuck paying out the rest of the year for a gym I couldnt use(sucked but I knew I had to pay up the 1 year contract). But then they renewed me for another year when I had asked to cancel months in advance. Now they charge another annual fee of $50 to cancel. And want to take another $20 because its within a 10 day period. Besides all that theres really nothing great about the place. No pool, no basketball court, no hot tub, only a handful of machines, and a pain to try and get out without being ripped off. If you already have a membership and try to cancel good luck.

Gym is more accurate than Health Club when describing this place. Many of the luxuries, such as a swimming pool and sauna, are missing.

I got charged 50 dollars after canceling my membership and I called the place to talk to them and they were laughing at me and giving me rude attitude the whole time on the phone. I asked for a manager but told me no one was there. They were so rude and laughing at me

Terrible customer service! Make sure you receive your paperwork when you sign up. They never told us about the yearly fees. Also they changed the price of the membership of my sons. The regional manager David is rude. He wont let you get a word in edgewise and hung up on me. Beware.

Crunch just opened and I have to say its one of the nicest gyms in our area. It has great workout equipment for both experienced lifters and those looking to learn. It has a ton of cardio equipment as well if youre looking for only that. On top of that, it is one of the only gyms in our area that has a full multi-purpose cage with different TRX stations, monkey bars, ropes, etc; and a turf section for stretching, sprints, prowler pushing, you name it. All of this is offered at the cheapest price a gym will ever be.

Company lies like other user has stated. I do have a recording of the person saying its a month to month and no Fees are charged for early cancellation. Thats the whole point of joining the gym. Not only that the first day I purchased the card the staff was terrible. Im filing a fraud complaint with Aurora, and didnt give any introduction to me. Also there will be a claim against them.

Pretty happy with this gym for its location and for the price. Ive been going here since a month after their opening and I can safely call this gym my second home.TL;DR: the facilities are clean and pretty well-managed, but the gym gets a little busy at peak times and availability of machines and cleanliness suffer as a result. Its a great place however, and should suit many customers effectively.Heres a run-down from my ~1.5 years here:The locker rooms are clean and well lit, but sometimes I find that the scale doesnt work or Ill find that the soap dispensers are in the middle of being refilled and are not operational. Thats not too much of an issue for me, but it happens.The main gym is pretty good, all of the equipment is new/relatively new. There will be a few machines here and there that are out of service, but thats expected. Mirrors surround the entirety of the East-facing wall of the gym, with the exception of the very right-hand side where an emergency exit door doesnt allow the squat rack users for an immediate side view of their form. You have to step back a bit to see yourself over there.There are a plethora of machines, Id say around half of the gym, devoted to cardio. A quarter of the area are strength machines, and the remaining quarter are bench/olympic squat racks and free weights. I wish they had a larger devotion to the latter since the area does fill up during peak hours and many of the benches can get filled up pretty quickly.The dance room of the gym is spacious, and the equipment is moderately clean. Exercise mats, dumbells, and half-stability balls are available in a backroom. The exercise mats tend to have a thin layer of residual sweat, but thats expected, so make sure to bring your own mats if youre planning on taking any Zumba classes or anything of the like. Youre allowed to go into the dance room during off-hours when no lessons are in place, but youre not allowed to use the aux and speakers in the room. From what I can hear during my workouts, those speakers can get pretty loud during lessons.Crunch also has a hydro-massaging and tanning bed area available for higher-membership members. Ive never personally been in there, so I cant vouch for the quality of those.Finally, availability of the gym is pretty ok, but make sure you pay attention to their Friday-Sunday hours. They close earlier and open later during those days. I go very early (5am) during the weekdays and fairly early (7am) during the weekends, so the hours correspond to what I need, but make sure they work for you.

Cheap prices but you get what you pay for. I canceled my husbands membership only to find out they didnt do it right and we continued being charged. The staff at the front desk is usually unprofessional, which is off putting when you first walk in. I joined this gym after it first opened and it just went down hill for me

Worst experience. I cancelled my membership in person two months back and am still being charged the monthly fee. First time it was due to insufficient notice period which was not communicated in advance and second time for reasons unknown although i gave enough notice. This gym has everything you need plus more. I highly recommend it. However, If youre looking for something thats open 24 hours, this gym isnt the one. Either way, its clean, spacious, and the staff if friendly and very imformative. If you ask the trainers for a form check or anything of the sort, theyll help you out without trying to hound you to get sessions. They have tanning areas as well as a pretty awesome hydromassage machine. They have an area with a TRX, monkey bars, and crossfit equipment. If youre not sure whether or not to make this your gym, go on in and see for yourself what it has to offer. 💪👟👙💦
