I have been going to VNA for 10 years. I mostly visited the Boilingbrook facility and loved it. I have been going to this location for a few years now and Have been extremely frustrated. The staff are great. No complaints there. The doctors, not so good. They never return calls, they don’t even get off their chair in the exam room. They barely even look at the patient in front of them. I have been calling for well over a week for blood results and my prescription refill. My medication runs out today and I still haven’t heard from them. It’s very disappointing and frustrating.

I had the worst experience at this location today. I arrived 15 min early for my appointment for my children. After waiting 1.5 hours after my appt time a staff member came and said the doctor didnt need to see my son because he had a physical in April. I explained I did need to see the doctor to get him up to date on vaccinations for school. The staff member again said the doctor was behind and they couldnt see my son because they didnt have the right paperwork. I asked if there was anyone who could help with that. Again I was dismissed because they had patients waiting. I waited for almost 2 hours with my 3 children but I wasnt helped. It was so ridiculous and unprofessional for the doctor and staff member to refuse to let me have my appointment.

Today one of my friends had an appointment and he was called before his appointment he was asked for his checks stubs but he gets direct deposit so he does not have a printer to print them he was told by whoever called him that then will have to make an appointment when he has type check stub. This is ridiculous because according to VNA policies they cant refuse service to anyone. VNA should train their staff better.

I’ve been twice in the past month. Each time staff were very professional and we were seen in a timely manner.Keep up the good work VNA staff.

I have done two time COVID-19 here. Not only testing convenient, and also easy to got useful reports for travel outside country. Its the best place Ive seen to get a vaccine. After getting the vaccine, you will receive folder with instructions. The staff was also very nice.

There is allot of miscommunication with the nurses at this place. I have had appointments in the past, with covid now they seem to be the least organized. Things are every where, people are sent all over and no one ever seems to know what goes on often there. I try to call for results and nothing but rude people over the phone.

Great staff, much appreciation to the nurses and Mr. Bedolf for his patience, information, help and candor. This institution is a boon to our community.

I’ve visited the Elgin VNA Clinic in the past and I’ve always been pleased with their services, but I had a FANTASTIC experience with both my Covid Vaccine appointments at the Aurora location. Highly organized and totally streamlined process. Everyone was very professional and performed their job with confidence that only comes with proper education and training. Scheduling both appointments was very easy and offered an assortment of convenient time slots. Great job everyone! I sincerely appreciate the jobs you do! Thank you.

They are over booked, understaffed and very rude! Dont schedule multiple people for the same appointment time and they wouldnt be so backed up.

I had both of my Covid vaccines at the VNA on Highland Avenue. Everyone was professional, nice and the process was very well organized.The whole experience was excellent.I am so proud of all of these workers and how well they handled the number of people that came in.Congratulations VNA and thank you!

Setting up an appointment through the phone has been a challenge lately. They either need to hire more people or figure something out. Wait times the past three times I’ve called, have been around 30 minutes. I tend to mute my phone while i wait and someone picked up, said hello twice real fast, and then hung up. I didnt get a chance to unmute.

Amazing place. They help out a lot and especially in last minute situations with medication and appointments. Most places don’t do that. So thanks guys!

Probably the worst clinics , was told I needed antibiotics and they refused to give me those until a following appointment set up. Very unprofessional. And wouldn’t recommend bringing kids here.

Congratulations VNA! The staff did you proud bu running a seamless, easy and time efficient program with the administrating the COVID vaccine!I admit my anxiety about receiving the shot was high the day I went. From the time I entered the building having my temperature taken, going to each station thereafter and ending in the observation area after receiving the vaccine it was a great, stressless experience. There’s a 15 minute wait after given the shot. I however, had to wait 30 minutes because of allergy concerns they had for me. I am so grateful for this clinic. I was able to secure a vaccine appointment much earlier than I could with other pharmacies like Walgreens and Meijer’s. I felt respected while I was there and the employees I talked to eased a lot of my anxieties. As a person who is low-income right now, I can’t imagine how expensive and hard it would be to find care if VNA wasn’t available to me. Thank you for the accessible care!

I drive an HR away for what? For the doctor to not give me an inhaler? I have breathing issues when I sleep now Ive havent slept in days for. The doctor took me off my depression med. Seems like none of yall know what your doing. Id say dont go here find a new doctor. Because they dont care whatsoever. If they did I wouldnt be waiting 3 days on a call back and when I call the doctor is unavailable? Wow. Nice customer service yall got going on sike.

The counseling services is a joke! Please explain to me how after one 30 minute, first time session and asking general questions, you know the patient mannerisms enough to say whether they have a disorder or not and they just need more sleep? When not only has the patient showed signs of a disorder for several years that other family members have mentioned it, but also several of the patients teachers have reach out the past 2 years, expressing concern about the patients emotional behaviors. But what can you really expect from dollar store health services and health insurances.

Got my COVID vaccination here! There were so many helpful people to direct you where you needed to go. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful and willing to take the time to answer questions.

I was on VNA wait list for covid vaccine. I got the last Friday and hurried over. I was late but the staff was there waiting for me and happy to see me. I got the last shot if day. Was here for my CoVid19 vaccine, everything went so well, scheduled my appointment, walked in, followed their process. I took only about 45 minutes total.

I was truly worried and concerned , her on side help and assistance made a big difference for me ! I was truly impressed by her care and understanding of my worries , because of her support my vaccination experience was very positive . I have been coming to the VNA for years now. I love coming here because the staff is always helpful. And youre always greeted with a smile. They have a sliding pay scale for patients that have little to no income. Mariana was so helpful with my questions and concerns. And she was glad to help in anyway that she could. If youre looking for an easy going clinic thats understanding. I recommend the VNA.

Came for my covid vaccine! Everyone was awesome and things were very well organized! The staff were professional, fast and friendly! Had an appt at 8:48am; got all checked in and vaccinated at 9:01am - was done with the waiting period at 9:16am and I was out! Highly recommend VNA Aurora - especially for the covid vaccine!

If I could give negative stars I would. They take hours. No one know where you should be, where you should wait..where you need to check in. This is the worst service I have ever received. You make an appointment and that doesnt matter because you dont get seen til an hr or more later.. and if you need to get a prescription from the pharmacy!!? I suggest come back for it. I waited an hr and a half for a prescription needed for my appointment and all 6 ladies laughed and went to lunch instead of having it ready in the 15 mins I was told. Instead waited 1 hr and 15 mins THEN STILL needed to wait to see the nurse. Terrible terrible service

This is easily the most terrible, unprofessional, unorganized facility I’ve ever been to. This office is a joke. I was told my appointment was over the phone then they called me 30 minutes before my apt telling me I can’t do it over the phone? Every time I’ve come in for my apt I’ve waited over an hour. I do not recommend this place at all whatsoever. The employees are liars and have no idea what they’re doing.

Took me forever to get through call center so I asked for management. Spoke to Maria V. She totally helped me out. I am so grateful she even got me my medication! Highly recomend!

VNA Fox Valley Highland Aurora home health nursing & hospice services are very, very good. The pandemic brought novel challenges to ensuring quality end-of-life care. Heather Worst, RN, was so important in the management of my husband’s terminal brain tumor and catastrophic stroke for both his home health care & eventually his hospice care. Heather knew that good care involves having a clear understanding of patients’ goals, values, and preferences for treatment. Her goals-of-care conversations were never limited for my husband during the pandemic, even with overburdened health systems, restrictions on face-to-face clinical interactions, and the inevitable physiologic decline as he transitioned to hospice care. Moreover, family members and caregivers were always included as important contributors to these conversations. We knew we could always reach out for services anytime around the clock if needed. Despite restrictive visitation rules which altered interactions with clinical teams, VNA home health & hospice RN Heather, home health aide Mirabella, & chaplain Santiago, were true professionals who cared greatly for my husband and provided respectful comfort for him & our family at the end of his life. I can’t say enough about how much the VNA Aurora Highland staffs’ service & compassion eased the pain of a very tragic experience.

I have been in contact with a coordinator about how un happy I was about my visit and was put down to never be called again. Two years later I now have a letter from them asking why I havent been in. Called up to figure out whats going on to find out there are no previous notes on my file. So what did your employee actual do when speaking with me? I highly do NOT recommend at all. There wouldnt even be a star up there if it would let me.

I received a free drive-thru flu shot, no waiting. They have no email address or Contact Us form on their website. I had a problem getting some information I needed over the phone, so I left a negative review on here. I received a call the next day with the information and letting me know they had updated their procedures to make sure everyone can easily get the information in the future. In other words, they actually fix problems when brought to their attention! What a great place! Every place has problems, the good ones actually fix them.

A relative of mine had to wait outside until she was called to be seen by doctor. It’s cold and rainy, she’s 60 years old with health issues. I spoke to staff they said it’s not in the policy to have patients wait outside , but they did tell my relative to stand outside and wait. Other patients were outside waiting aswell. Hopefully the vna corrects this issue before my relative goes back for a checkup.I do understand due to covid places have restrictions but I don’t think it’s healthy for patients to be waiting outside in the cold. There has to be a better way.

VNA Healthcare was wonderful. I used the drive thru COVID testing. Online registration prior to testing was easy to complete, and a testing personnel contacted me by phone upon my arrival. The staff of nurses and doctors on-site were professional , efficient, answered questions, and provided guidance on steps and precautions I should take. I really appreciated the phone call follow up with results and a check-in call a few days later. Really nice to see multiple other drive thru services provided such as flu shots & diabetes services which takes a lot of the uncertainty and exposure potential out of the equation since you can use these services in the safety of your car without coming in contact with other patients. I would highly recommend VNA, their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate and they provide a wide variety of services for the community at all of their Chicagoland locations.

Very upset and disappointing with this VNA Health Care in Aurora. Been coming here for over three years and my experience today was bad. After booking and appointment a week ago and calling 4 hrs to reconfirm at time of arrival I was told that Doctor canceled my appointment with no call or reason why? The front person checking temperture told me the bad news and didnt even try just said oh well not sure what to tell you. Will not come back and will look for another Health care that want my family business this is inspite of having insurance. VNA HEALTH CARE IS NOT TRUS WORTH IT!

I’m sitting in waiting on to see the doctor it has been two hours I been here since 11am it’s now 1 pm no one has came in since they took my vitals , An when I go out to ask if they forgot about me they said I was next now it 1:15 and still no doctor

I remember making a review before, but I believe it was deleted. I had a TERRIBLE experience with Andrea Jackson in 2017 that could have resulted in my death.. I made an appointment, and waited for over two hours after my scheduled time. And the worst part is that Andrea Jackson, the person I had an appointment with, walked in casually and taking her sweet time like she had no obligations right in front of me. Then after another 15 minutes I was called back and I wish I never went. Her attitude and behavior was atrocious. I told her I hadnt been able to eat or even drink water for days, constantly throwing up, unable to walk, and fainting easily and she responded with well you could stand to lose the weight. We already knew I was pregnant and she told me I was overreacting to my morning sickness. I told her Im sick 24/7 so its not that. She again blamed it on my weight and morning instead of actually trying to help me. She prescribed me Vitamin B6 and sleeping pills. I decided to go to a different doctor who actually DID THEIR JOB and listened to me. Turned out I had Hypokalemia, which is low potassium, and if it continues to decrease I could have eventually died as well as my unborn child. I came close to it, and needed to get a PICC line (feeding line) inserted and was in the hospital for close to a month on an IV of potassium and fluids just to keep me stable. Shame on the VNA for hiring such an incompetent nurse practitioner.

The precautions and service during the pandemic has been very professional. Crystal Phillips was extremely kind and helpful to me today when she contacted me about scheduling an appointment.

I went there back during the end of 2014-2015 because I was pregnant as a teen and had not sought out medical attention for the first 6 months. The doctors and nurses were sweet and explained everything clearly. No judgment, just helping me through the process. On of the doctors even helped me to deliver my baby which made me feel a little more at ease to see a familiar face. I think they do a great job especially since they take walk ins!

I see many of the providers there for my health and I am very content with the treatment I get from them. All of the providers I see always take the time to solve any and every issue. I would like to focus on Ximena Bravo, who has helped me through some hard times in my life. Even with telemedicine now because of COVID, she makes sure I am content with the visit. I am very grateful for the VNA providers I see.

This place is horrible today my parent’s went to the doctor they had COVID-19 they went to the hospital know their doing better they went to get their lungs checked because of the virus the doctor didn’t want to attend because they have positive on the virus witch they don’t the only thing VNA health care is good for to give u the payment bill...

The VNA is the best resource for my special needs Clients! The House Calls Practioners are so patient, knowledgeable, and make the Clients in need so comfortable! Everyone at the Clinic is awesome helping us out when things get difficult and again are so kind to my Clients. As a Nurse myself, I cant say enough good things about my experiences there with my Clients! Thank You VNA!!

My experience with the nurse practitioner was good the registration staff is terrible and don’t inform you of what the actual costs of appointment and such will be. I was initially told I was going to pay 35 over the phone, get there and at registration they tell me it’ll be 45, an additional 10 that’s fine( where I was told that that is what I will be paying every time I come in) I then my next appointment. Come in 2 days later and was told I have a balance of 95 because I was supposed to pay 120. First of all 120-45 is not 95 so there alone the staff can’t subtract? Second of all they send you for lab work and don’t tell you what the fees are. I think staff should know how to inform patients about these additional fees and charges.

I am so grateful for the staff that helped us through our visit. Everyone was super sweet to us. My son had an ear infection and was in a lot of pain. We walked in a few minutes before closing with out an appointment. They were able to see him quickly and order his prescription at our pharmacy. I’m grateful, THANK YOU!

Worst doctors office I ever been to. All they did the entire time I was there was send me back and forth on a run around for 2 and a half hours. And all I came for a scheduled check up appointment

For all of us people with no health insurance VNA Healthcare is an invaluable resource. So many other places if you have a balance where you owe them money they will not see you are give you your medications, this is not the case with VNA even if you dont have the money for the co-pay or owe them money thay will take care of you like a person that matters. So on behalf of all the others that use the VNA thank you.

I could not be happier with the care/service that I received from all staff that I encountered at this VNA location. From the receptionists, to the nurses, to the doctors, to the pharmacy staff, it was great! They got me the care I needed and went above and beyond to help me find out where my prescriptions would be most affordable. I am definitely a fan of this VNA!

Came in as a walk in they let me know it would be a 2 hour wait witch was fine with me because I needed to be seen crazy part is I waited from 9:30 to 1:30pm when it was suppose to be 2 hours I go back to the nurse to ask how long till my turn she tells me another hour and I told her well you said 2 hours and it’s been 4 already then she had the nerve to say well you didn’t make an appointment so I’m sorry and I told her well why did you say I would be seen in 2 hours if you knew it wouldn’t be possible I told her well I’ll be back I have to pick up my kids and she said that’s fine well now it’s 5pm and she told me I would need to wait till after 7:30 till they can see me I’m going insane I need to be seen by a doctor now and they can careless hate this dam place. Hate this place with a dam passion hope no one has to be at a dam clinic for 8 hours.

How do you guys schedule someone for a phone call appointment and not help at all wasting my time can’t even give me my refills like I’m a diabetic and I need my medication you guys are not even helpful

Ridiculous waiting periods.I was left waiting 55 minutes past my appointment time.They wanted to do blood work. Sent me back to the waiting room. Told me the lab would call me in five minutes.Thirty minutes later I inquired. They never called me because the nurse wrote it down as I had been seen.Had I not inquired I wouldnt have been seen.I was told Id have my results in a few days. Give days later Ive left messages for the nurse as it ONLY goes to voicemail. And no call back.

Ive Been Coming Here Since I Was Like 7 Or So Im 17 Now Back Then They Where A Faster Service Dont Know What Happens. When I Stand In Line Of An Appointment They Take For Ever Plus The Ladys Are Usually Talking To Each Other & Not Doing Their Job Properly. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Useless staff. Rude. Forgetful. Made me wait two weeks freaking out over biopsy results, which they had gotten back after 3 days. I have had anxiety so it’s hard for me to go to the clinic and instead of giving me the results over the phone, I had to go in, wait 45 mins to be seen while having a panic attack, finally see the doctor, only for him to be like everything was normal I’ll see you again in a year. And then go to leave. I was like hold on wait, I’m still having problems though? He said make an appointment with another doctor then. I was like wow thanks for the 30 second update. And he left. Two weeks of agony that could have been resolved over the phone. But! They can’t charge medicaid for talking on the phone so instead they WANT you to come in so they can bill Medicaid, even if it is not really in the patients best interest.Sad place. Won’t write me a note for my job. Won’t call in nausea medication. Won’t do anything unless it profits them. Wild. DO NOT GO HERE FIND A NEW PLACE!!!

Alot of the nurses will lie about my blood pressure, only a couple have ever said it was high. Im not sure why but they always tell me its 120/80. Lol ive had high bp for awhile now. When I go to the ER or other dr. offices its like 140/90. But everytime without fail they tell me its great. ??? Why do they do that idk.. But make sure you check yourself or have another clinic test you if your concern. Ive even told my dr. here and he believes the nurses over me and my telling him of other places I go are coming out with a different number than theirs. Other than this problem, I pretty much get treated well here, ive had some other issues but none to cry about like being told your BP is fine when its not... If you have no choice this place is fine...
