Beware …during my surgery a out of network assistant surgeon was used with out prior authorization to my insurance company so my insurance company will not pay for all of my surgical cost . have been going around and around for a year now trying to get this resolved but now I have a big medical bill out of my pocket for this assistant that is not in network and was not properly approved to the surgery. Do your research before Hiring a surgeon Make sure you ask the questions if their plan on using an attending surgeon and make sure your insurance company Covers it . Beware beware beware!!!! Bad business practices!

I had an emergency appendectomy last year. After 90 days or so I was still having pain at the incision site. I called to try and get an appt scheduled with Dr. Rowland. It was a business day and the phone went to an out-of-office call center all day long. Finally they transferred me to the manager of the office who told me they were moving that day and could not help me. She curtly told me she had called me back several times that day but I had no missed calls and no voice messages from this office. The employee was extremely bitter and rude to me. Between myself and my health insurance we paid $90,000 for this emergency appendectomy and I have literally never been treated so poorly by medical office staff in my life. The woman ended the phone conversation by curtly telling me you probably have an ovarian cyst, and then hung up on me. It has now been a year since my surgery and I am STILL in pain and dont know where to go. Clearly by the other reviews on here this office manager has a serious attitude problem, she is dispensing medical advice without a license AND SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED.

Took forever to get ahold of Jen, DR.Rowland assistant. When I was finally able to speak with her, she was rude and didnt try to get me an appointment that worked with schedule. Her comments are passive. I would never give them my business, knowing this is how they treat patients. Jen represents Rowland, and she just didnt make me feel comfortable.

Dr Feterrali and his staff are amazing; friendly, professional and willing to go the extra mile to help.My surgery went without a hitch, I recovered well ahead of schedule, scaring is minimal, and Dr F called me with pathology report.I pray I will never require surgery again, but if i do, this practice will be performing the procedure.

Since Dec 8 2016 I have been calling this office because I was referred to from the ER when they found several gallbladder stones. This clinic asked me to go online and fill out all paperwork because it would make things so faster. That didnt happen everyday I have called and asked if my paperwork was received and there is always something wrong with the system. I have filled out the paperwork online 6 times and all I get is please complete that paperwork online first then we will get you in for a consultation. I am in so much pain I rather just go back to the ER or another doctor.Dont waste your time with this clinic they are only going to waste your time!

Hmm... guess people only write reviews when they have something negative to say. My PCP recommended Surgical Consultants Of Aurora & I trust her. Before scheduling an appointment tho, I came here to read the reviews. Glad I decided to trust my PCP & not the reviews. My surgery experience with SCoA was positive. Everything went just as the Dr.s said it would.

Rude and not helpful. Called numerous times to get an appointment scheduled and no answer. Then once someone answered the appointment line they couldnt schedule an appointment. Im going elsewhere. If they cant even schedule a consult appointment I cant imagine how the paperwork and billing will be. No thanks!

So far very disappointed. Paperwork was lost and appointment never scheduled. Called to follow up and was hung up on. Called back and was told I had called too early and they wernt ready for business AND was told I would be called back in 5-10 mins. An hour later I called back and asked what the problem was and JEN laughed hysterically before transferring to Norma, who was the LEAST empathetic or caring person Ive ever talked to. Scheduled appointment for HALF A MONTH OUT...........
