Thank you Risas dental for a great dental experience. My Assistant Luis was very nice and was great explaining each task we were going to do for the appointment. Also I was very happy with how he was very attentive of making sure I had my appointments scheduled ahead before I left the patient room. I really did like the doctor very professional and took care of all my questions and concerns. I do not recommend going here!!!!! I went for braces 3years ago. I started with a diff orthodontist that I ended with. I went on on April 28th for my braces to be removed. Once they were removed I noticed that my front teeth protruded out of my face very weirdly and honestly it looked terrible. Especially after having my braces for 3year, I couldnt understand why they looked like they did. I ask to speak to the orthodontist because I was so upset with my results. He came in saying you should have got your teeth extracted. I was so confused and mad and replied I had NEVER been told I needed teeth extracted at any point. Had I known I would have done so. I said I cant believe Ive been coming here for 3years and not one time was I told that. He said well we can have that done and get your braces back on for about another year. I am very upset I had 3years wasted. Had I been told and got my teeth extracted my treatment would have been much less than 3years. It took so long because of the crowding in my mouth. Now I go back to have 4 teeth extracted and my braces put back on. I think this is unacceptable and feel they should fix my teeth and extract my teeth for free since this was their mistake and wasted 3years on the wrong treatment on my teeth. As well as fix them for free and I should get my money back. This is beyond unfair. Do not go here and I know they wont care and wont give me my money back because they just want money and dont truly care about their patients.

I went in for my appt to the wrong Risas location and they were nice enough to fit me into their schedule. They took me back right away and started working on my X-rays and cleaning they then got me in two days later and finished up all my fillings I needed. I am very satisfied. Dr. Berkey and Christina took very good care of me and we’re super nice and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process! Thank you! I will be coming back to them!

This was my first time at Risas in Aurora South and everyone was super friendly and inviting. The front desk people, Adal and Alejandra were very welcoming and answered all of my questions. I felt very welcome and am excited to get my braces here.

Being a patient here with braces has been a very good experience. My appointments are always very efficient and my regular check ups are hassle free. Getting quick fixes when something is bothering me is always something I can feel like I can come in and get done. Very recommended.

I had an initial appointment and was checked in quicker than I thought it would take. Luckily on the same day they were able to do a cleaning. It was a all super quick. I was seen by Dr. Shaw and his assistant Sonia. Dr Shaw answered all my questions and any concern I had. Staff were super friendly and service was great.

My mouth wasnt feeling as fresh as it should and was able to get a same day appointment. I let them know that Im very skiddish at the dentist and they were very kind and understanding. The staff really put me at ease and I felt comfortable. I was informed of everything happening and was given a very doable treatment plan at the fraction of the cost of my old dentist. The office and treatment areas were nice and very clean. I definitely recommend if you hate going to the dentist and paying too much out of pocket.

You know how when youre a child youre absolutely terrified of the dentist? Well that fear never went away for me even after I transitioned into adulthood.Just recently I went to Risas Dental and Braces after not seeing a dentist for over five years and Ive got to admit Ive enjoyed it quite a bit. I was taken care of by Dr.Berkey and his kind staff and it was truly such a nice ambiance even during the scary times that were living in. They were all in precautionary gear and took extra precautions to make sure their patients were safe. Dr.Berkey made me feel super comfortable and has helped me conquer my fear of the dentist! I look forward to seeing him and his lovely staff again.

We have been coming here for the last two years. Doctor Shaw has been great at promptly diagnosing and treating any issues. An additional positive: The front desk staff are always friendly.

They answered all of my questions whenever I had one. Th were always respectful.but they did change my doctor half way will outing my braces witch was kind of a number but he was also cool.

Dr. Masha and Luiz were attentive, knowledgeable, kind and highly skilled. Dr. Masha listened to my special concerns and worked to solve my needs on the spot. This place feels corporate and a bit impersonal, though the care was top notch. Good people, excellent care.

Dr. Berkey and staff were fantastic!!! He made me feel at ease as he explained the procedures and was very gentle and kind. It was the best experience that I have ever had at the dentist. Thanks again for making my smile look amazing!

Every visit is always very pleasant, i’m always taken great care of. Today’s service was exceptionally great, Dr. Masha and her assistant Denisse were very attentive and were able to get me started on my ortho plan which is very exciting! Alex was also a great help at the desk and i appreciate all the information she provided. :)

The staff is usually great when it comes to working on the braces and all that. but i was 10 mins late for my 12 pm appointment because they had no parking at all, so i had to park far away and walk to the building. so they put me down as a walk in. I have now been sitting here for 1 hour and 30 minutes. wonder how much longer i will be sitting here waiting. idk why the schedule so many people to the point that there is no parking available and there are no rooms opening up. it always happens to me even when i’m on time for my appointment, there is always at least a 30 minute wait to be seen. they never take you at the time of your appointment so be planning on waiting a good 30 mins at the least to be seen.

I had a great experience! I had somewhat of a dental emergency and they were able to get me book extremely quickly and I had very happy the the results! The staff was extremely friendly and Dr. Berkey was very consultative and extremely helpful. I was very satisfied!

Maybe I fell through the cracks or maybe I somehow live in a parallel universe, but my experience with Risas was not nearly as positive as the other reviews posted here.It began in the beginning ...I called this office using the dial feature located in Google Maps. Not only did the number not reach this office, but the office it did reach put me on perpetual hold for being too busy. As I waited I was inundated with their marketing campaign about being the dentists who speak patients. Or was that patience? Because my hold time was so long it actually hung up on me.I called back and had to wait again, but at least this time I was able to wait long enough to have the phone answered. It wasnt long before I realized the person on the other end of the phone wasnt at this location but at a call center somewhere. But, I made the appointment thinking the biggest hurdle was over.Boy, was I wrong.Every doctors office everywhere asks you to show up a few minutes early for your first appointment to fill out necessary paperwork, so I arrived at 8:45AM for my 9AM. The office was open but no one was at the front desk, just a note stating they were in a morning meeting. Nine oclock came and went and no one came to the front desk. Somewhen about 9:10 they started shuffling out and checking people in. This wouldnt be a big deal, but if you or I were late to an appointment we might not be seen and maybe even charged a missed appointment fee.They didnt have any Jasons on their list for 9AM and so there was some confusion as they tried to find Jacob. When I asked if they meant Jason I was told no, Jacob.Turns out, they were looking for a Jason, not a Jacob.After that everything went fine. Or so I thought. We filled out the first visit paperwork: medical history, HIPA forms, etc. and discussed payment. I told them I could pay cash, credit or use my insurance. She seemed confused. Their first visit fee was so small I didnt see the point in using insurance, so we settled for cash, which she took before allowing me to go further. Weird, but whatever.I get XRays, see the doctor and discuss next steps. All very pleasant and functional. The give me a prescription and tell me theyll call me within 24 hours with an update for how much my insurance will cover on the next procedure.After lunch I head to the pharmacy and drop off my prescription. The pharmacist said they couldnt fill it for a few hours and I agreed to return the next day. No biggie.The problem begins the next day. When I go to pick it up the pharmacist verifies the prescription with me, specifically: am I allergic to any medications. Yes, I am. Then why did they prescibe you this? I dont know. Okay, let us call your doctor and verify.An hour passed and theyre not able to get through to Risas, giving the excuse they (Risas) may be at lunch. It was 1:15, so I couldnt figure out why an entire office would be out for lunch. The pharmacist finally tells me theyll have to call me back after speaking to the dentist.Its been another 24 hours and I havent heard from the pharmacist, leading me to believe they havent spoken with Risas yet; nor have I heard from Risas regarding what procedures and how much my insurance will cover - meaning 48 hours have passed since they said theyd call me in 24 hours.So, Risas prescribed me a medication that has the potential to kill me and then is unavailable to the pharmacist while Im in pain.I called them back and reached the same call center and asked to be transferred to this office. They wouldnt without my name, birth date and address first. I could understand needing my name, but my birthday and address to speak with the doctor I saw a few days prior? Really?I will never return and already made an appointment with another dentist whose office answers within the first couple of rings.

I can say this is the perfect place to get treated well. either money wise or customer service good people I recommend this place if you need professional Doctors and Dental assistanceas A health Care profession they are culturally competent and aware of different culture and ethnicity and race I am really glad taking care of my teeth in Risas dental for real I am a wetness no disparities at all.Great Job !!!

Came into the dentist today to get my braces put on for the second time Assitant Kathy did an amazing job with her whole team and Dr. Schiro the orthodontist was cool and answered all my questions and explained treatment well to me and made me feel comfortable definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Good service. It took a little bit to get my clear aligners going because I was out of country. Also they were having a great Black Friday sale so they were on back order bc so many ppl decided to get them. However, once we got going, I get quick, good service. This dental office is very clean and the staff (as in front desk and dental assistance) are very friendly and very professional. As for the doctor I saw absolutely not! He was very rude unfriendly made me feel uncomfortable I didn’t even want to finish my appointment but I needed the pain that I was experiencing to just go away. I had expressed my feelings to the dental assistant that was taking care of me and she apparently told him because he came back in apologized said “we had got off on the wrong foot” (when it was him not me) I had went in excited to finally get my tooth fixed but after meeting him I just wanted to leave. The doctor(I know the doctors name but I don’t want to give it out) told me that all the other doctors were busy and I needed to finish my appointment with him or I needed to come back, so of course I finish the appointment with him, again I have been in pain with this crown since the beginning of the pandemic!! He did fix half of the problem but of course I needed to make a second appointment for him to finish the work . When I went back two days later he still wasn’t listening to what I was saying fixed what he wanted to fixed and now here I am less pain but still have the problem I went in for in the first place!!!! Again the staff is extremely friendly the dental assistant that I had this second time was absolutely amazing and yes I would schedule again just not with that doctor EVER!!!!

The front desk staff member are rude and very unprofessional instead of making sure patients are checked in and being seen promptly, they sit there and gossip about each other and Facebook and what they did over the weekend.....if I wasn’t in the middle of treatment I wouldn’t step a foot back in that place!!!!

Be ware of the games this location plays when you pay for the Black Friday Full Comprehensive Orthodontic Special for braces. They will tell you everything is covered but from time to time they will say you have to pay for cleaning your teeth. My wife paid for that special back in 2016 and once in a while she was told she had to pay for cleaning her teeth. Then, they check their records and they cleaned her teeth. Today though, even they checked her record, she was told she will have to pay for that service and they turned her away.
