Coach Beckles trained my son last year with excellent results. His strength and endurance improved tremendously. Coach Beckles was able to communicate his knowledge and training in a way that my son was able to understand and execute the program effectively. His positivity and experience kept my son engaged and challenged on a daily basis. The results were so impressive that we have included my daughter and niece in the program as well.Thank you Coach Beckles!!

It is absolutely worth a trip to Augusta, Maine to treat yourself to at least one session with this gentle force of nature. He applied his extensive knowledge of anatomy, biology and nutrition to redefine my health and wellness. My doctors are still scratching their heads and Im totally off meds.

It’s really difficult to fully explain how much Lanell has done for me.... There’s just so much I can say. He’s been training me for years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He finds the smartest and most innovative ways to get results, and FAST! I went to him when was diagnosed with a spinal disorder where I slouched forward and my bones had begun growing that way. Within a few months, he not only strengthened my back and improved my posture, but he also improved the angle of my back and reversed the bone growth! My doctor (went to Harvard med school) had never seen anything like it before. When you work with Lanell, you don’t just get stronger. You improve your sleep, eat better, and release tight muscles, getting QUICK, high quality results. As a teenage girl, this has been HUGE for me in shaping my confidence and has made me a happier person overall. He’s 100% the best coach in the area and I would recommend him to everyone I know.

Over the many years and the many interests that I have had; few teachers/coaches have stood out with as much excellence as Lanelle.Wether it was for tennis or strength training, he first took the time to evaluate what my strengths and weaknesses were. He next identified my goals. Only then did he start to move me in the proper direction. Slowly at first but then with increasing intensity until goals were reached. All the time he kept it light hearted and enjoyable. He is a true student of his craft, always learning and improving himself as well. An inspiration.

In Augusta Maine, Lanell has given me personal training and supplementation. He is very knowledgeable in his field and I hope to continue working with him. He has been able to make me stronger that I went from being able to do no pull ups to being able to do one. I also have gained muscle in my back and arms, places I’ve never worked on before. He also works on mindset and I believe that this is one of the most amazing things about him. He not only transforms your body but works on making your mind stronger too. Thanks Lanell!

Lanell gave me a 2 hour long consultation to help with my chronic pain condition, low energy levels and fluctuating mood issues. He was very detailed,thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He suggested a detailed diet and supplement plan for 6 weeks. He was also very accessible and answered all my questions during the whole period. I followed his recommendations for 6 weeks and felt significantly better. I have since continued to follow his suggestions and am able to see an improvement in all my symptoms. He also made some very helpful suggestions for my kids (aged 12 and 7). Further, Lanell has a very kind and non-judgmental communication style and Im very grateful to him for his help and expertise.

At this point in my life (68 years old) and a tennis player, I needed some help with strength and conditioning. I wanted someone who understood an athletes perspective and needs. Lanell is not only a certified personal trainer but also a USPTA tennis teaching professional. I was fortunate enough to meet him on the tennis court. Then I found out about his athlete training and thank goodness I did. After only a few weeks of training, I could see and feel the difference. Hes my go-to guy...If you want to improve your tennis game or in any other sport, then Lanell is the man to see. His depth of knowledge in athlete training is amazing and so are his results. Hint: dont wait til 68 before doing this...

Didnt know how to restart after a long run of ill health...my teenager suggested his power coach. Im no athlete. IF hed see me, I expected hed give me a cookbook beginner weight program and sent on my way. Every visit has surprised and challenged me. He impresses me with the intensity with he listens and tailors the sessions to my needs. He is unfailingly positive, kind, and generous. Very holistic approach, does not impose a program - adjusts to fit the client. I dont really do supplements for example -- he mentions an option that would address an issue and moves on, no pressure. He watches closely, recognizes whats going on physically, and addresses it. Hes used accupressure and gua sha on the spot to fix longstanding range of motion issues. Hes got formidable knowledge and is continuously learning - personable and interesting to talk with. Ive got tons more energy --Im not catching every germ I meet anymore -- I have actual muscles now! -- despite my less than stellar consistency in the weight room as Ive had to step back at times to deal with life. My changes have inspired a number of my friends and relatives to hit the gym as well!

I started with Lanell to work on mobility. I quickly realized he was a wealth of knowledge and wanted to learn more. Lanell has helped me learn so much about fitness, nutrition, gut health and mental health to name a few.Yes sleep is very important, good sleep. I started with a trainer and gained a life long friend. Anyone looking to work on that weak knee or sore shoulder, or maybe that lower back should give him a try. He is more than your typical trainer. Thank you Lanell!

I have been power and oly lifting for 15+ years and needed to relocate to Augusta earlier this year for work and needed to find a Gym ASAP. I ended up here by chance and am very happy I did. Lanell has been a huge asset in terms of helping me overcome injuries and continue to add KGs to my lifts. I couldnt recommend enough.

I have been working out with Lanell since early February 2019. I’m most impressed with at least three things about Lanell. First, he carefully listened to what my goal was for training (mine was to get back into running after 17 years). Then he designed a personalized program based on his assessment of areas where I needed to gain strength. Second, I’ve never been bored with any of his workouts! He changes the program to work on different muscle groups to build overall strength. Third, he pays very close attention to my progress, he keeps very detailed notes, and he watches me closely as I’m working out regarding my form and/or any fatigue.He has me doing amazing things in our sessions with weights and I trust him implicitly. Lanell has a whole health approach and will ask about your sleeping, diet and nutrition. Lastly, he has a great laugh and smile and I have a lot of fun doing things I never thought I was capable of doing.I’m a 65 y/o woman, who always considered myself fairly fit and active but, after 6 months of working with Lanell (twice a week on average), I can say I’m in the best shape in my life. I ran the Beach to Beacon 10K race on August 3rd and ran it 12 minutes faster than I did in 2002 (when I was 48 y/o)! I did the work but Lanell got me there! I recommend him highly to anyone wanting to be in shape and feel strong.

Ive been going to Lanell since October. My goal was to lose a little weight and get back into shape now that Im in my 30s. Not only was Lanell able to help me meet that goal, but he also pushed me to think differently about my overall health. Ive never been able to stay committed to any fitness program until now, and Im so grateful for the tools Lanell has given me to be successful. Training with Lanell is worth every penny!

After seeing my fiancées result after just a few weeks of working with Lanell, I had to sign up. I’ve been working with Lanell for 11 months and have been getting in the best shape of my adult life. He’s taught me about how important gut health, sleep, and nutrition are when working out. He’s a wealth of knowledge and creates amazing individualized programs to get results. I’m in shock by how strong I have gotten and the transformation I have had since working with Lanell. He knows how to push you and keep you motivated. He’s been supportive when I’ve had days where I have felt stuck and reminds me of my progress. I love working with Lanell and would give him 10 stars! I can’t thank him enough for what he’s done for me! I highly recommend Lanell.. no matter your age or your skill set.
