Dr. Stark has a great bedside manner. He has always given me wonderful care. His office manager Peggy is exceptional! . When she was out for weeks we all missed her. When she says she is going to do something she does. I don’t have to make multiple calls to get it done. I sure wish all my doctors offices had an employee as sweet and knowledgeable as she is.

My husband had an appointment here for an ingrown toenail. This was his first time here. After the doctor came in to see him, he was told that it would be an $85 copay for a one-time office visit since he hasnt met his deductible. He was also going to be charged upfront for the procedure which was over $300 total, and we were not expecting that, as most places bill your insurance first and then send you a bill for anything that the insurance didnt cover. Needless to say, my husband left without getting the procedure done. I called to talk to someone about the $85 copay because I thought that was ridiculous, and was told by someone named Matt that he was charged $85 because they were a specialist, but that he would get me someone to talk to if I wanted. (My husband sees a cardiologist, and an orthopedic specialist, and our copay at those places has never been more than $35. So thats a lie.) I talked to someone else, and she told me that it was their office policy to charge $85 for a one-time office visit when someone is a new patient and hasnt met their deductible, but that he wouldnt pay this amount every time he came. Some policy. It would have been nice to know this upfront when I called to make the appointment, and I would have looked elsewhere. This cant be standard practice for all podiatrists. I actually called another podiatrist after my husbands appointment because we will NOT be using Auburn Foot Care to complete his procedure, and after what happened with AFCC, I was sure to ask questions. They ran our insurance card over the phone and told me that the copay would be $35, and that they would bill our insurance company first for the procedure and then send us a bill for anything that our insurance didnt cover. This was the experience we were expecting with Auburn Foot Care Center and sadly, all that happened was a waste of hard-earned money for the doctor to look at my husbands foot for literally about a minute, and tell him that he needed a procedure done on his toe (which he obviously already knew). If anything, a higher copay just for being a new patient who hasnt met their deductible would be a sincere reason to avoid this place. And especially since they were asking for payment for the procedure on the same day when people probably expect it to be covered by insurance. They already have our money, so Im sure they dont care, but maybe this review will save someone else some trouble.

Was so happy to receive care! The staff is friendly and very ready to help. My ingrown toenail surgery went well and he was gentle. Thank you very much for your time and effort. I had a great experience!

I do NOT recommend for routine elderly foot care. Staff was very friendly but Dr Stark was not. I did not get a warm fuzzy feeling at all! On top of that they wanted to charge my mom $50 to do what our well known Podiatrist in Fairhope AL only charged $15 for after medicare/insurance.

Doctor Stark is fine, but when I arrived for my appointment the receptionist said they had tried to reach me for days to reschedule at a later date. However, I never received any calls or texts, so I wasted my time going there

DO NOT RECOMMEND! The receptionist seems clueless, especially on the phone. I did not feel like she was qualified in the least bit. The male nurse was the rudest person I’ve come in contact with! Apparently, my questions were too annoying for him. I caught him rolling his eyes at me numerous times! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF!!!! I will not be returning. The doctor was in the room for maybe 5 minutes. I don’t not feel that I was taken care of at all!

I’m a patient of Dr.Stark and staff. I love them and it’s a great place and the staff is really great. Maria greets you with a smile and answer any questions you have and Dr.Stark is truly the best he listen to you and answer anything you ask him and he don’t tries to rush you. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

Dr. Stark and staff @ Auburn Foot Care are absolutely amazing! They are knowledgeable, caring, and take the time to address all of my concerns.After having surgery, I was given a 24 hr number contact for Dr. Stark in the event of having complications. It was a comforting feeling to know that he cares that much for his patients.

I was able to make an appointment and actually get in to see the doctor quickly. My appointment ran smoothly. They ran multiple tests and gave me the results at that appointment. They also gave me everything I needed to treat my issues at that original appointment. They were nice, thorough, and professional. I highly recommend if you need to seek foot treatment.

My husband had an appointment card with a date and time. We called to confirm the morning of the appointment and were told that we were not down to come in and that they were booked for the day. We waited on hold for 9 minutes one time and 6 another time. After some persuasion, they finally told us that they would work us in. We decided that since they didn’t appear to be very professional, we probably needed to see another podiatrist. So glad we did!

Dr. Stark has a warm, professional bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable, informative, and can carry a conversation that will leave you with a smile. His office staff is kind, diligent, and very helpful. The office space/ waiting room is clean and I observed the exam rooms being sanitized after each patient left.Dr. Stark follows the standard of care in treating issues, doesn’t just jump to a conclusion or a form of treatment without thought and discussion, and sees patients in a timely manner (actually one of the fastest doctor’s offices I’ve been to in the Auburn area).I would confidently recommend this podiatrist to any one of my family, friends, or someone off the street. If you’re feet are causing you trouble look no further, this is the doc you want to see!!!

Dr. Starks and his staff are very knowledgeable and they care about their patients as listen to them . I drive over an hour just to be taken care of by his office. I am blessed to have found this practice and as my foot get better I am a walking testimony. I’ve already referred my cousin.

I’ve had an error with my bill now for over a month. Literally no one in the office can help me, and they just put me on hold for 15 minutes, but really just put the phone down, so I had to listen to two people chatting about their vacation to Oxford and the bagpipes they heard. I’m not sure what’s worse: putting someone on hold for 15 minutes when you have zero way to help them, or the background convo having zero to do with attempting to resolve it. On top of this, the office administrator who does have the ability to help, is never in the office! They gave me her cell, and she won’t pick up. Voicemail box is full. It’s literally impossible to communicate with these folks. Now they’re suggesting I text her, which I have done. But I’m not holding my breath. Ridiculous customer service.

CAME IN FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT TODAY AND THE RECEPTIONIST MARIA WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FRIENDS AND FAMILY

I was impressed by how I received an ultrasound and scan of my ankle the first time I visited. The doctor was very thorough and found the issue quickly (several inflamed tendons). I have been given practical advice and care. There is little wait time, so I am not waiting to be seated in a room for a long time. The doctor does his best to explain my injury and treatment and is receptive to questions. I was a new patient back in August and have come in a few times to mark my progress. I’m overall satisfied with the level of care. I feel like if I was concerned about more and had more questions, the doctor and staff would take me seriously.

Dr. Starks is the best. My mom has been coming here for over a year and he’s so patient with her. Above all, I can tell he really cares about his patients and his career overall. I like him a lot and the staff is nice too.

I have received excellent care from Dr. Stark and his entire staff. Beginning with the diagnosis, the therapy and getting different shoes ,everything has helped to greatly improve the problems I was having.I expect to be fully healed very soon!Highly recommended!

The worst experience

My first visit was wonderful! I arrived at the office by mistake, thinking that I was at the location of another foot-care facility. As I was leaving, the office assistant told me that they would love to serve me. I left and went to the other facility. There was a long wait even though I had an appointment, and the facility wasn’t half as nice. While waiting, I called back to Auburn Foot Care and inquired if they could still see me. The answer was “yes!” They took me back to a room almost immediately. Everyone was very friendly. And Dr. Stark was very personable and attentive. The service that I received was just what I needed! I highly recommend Auburn Foot Care!

Dr Stark and his staff are friendly , professional and courteous, he takes the time to explain procedures. I had bunion surgery and everything went well with minimal pain, he will definitely be doing my second foot in the future.

I recently saw Dr. Stark for the removal of an ingrown toenail. He and his staff were incredibly nice and easy to talk to. He made the procedure quick and nearly completely painless. After the procedure they gave me everything I needed to bandage my toe for the following weeks.

The treatment was not effective at all and they charged hidden fees. They will send you extra bills after the treatment. Try your best to avoid this clinic.

I had to call 3 times to get an appointment set up. 2 times they said they would call me right back. It took me calling a 3rd time to get it done

I have a tear in my Achilles Tendonitis and it very painful. He gave me a boot to wear for a hour a day and some Naproxen for pain that dont work at all. Every time I go only one nurse working my appointment was at 9:45 and Im leaving at 11:45,and everytime I go my bill is high with the insurance one time my bill was $74 dollar, the second time it was $240 dollar and the third time it was $90 dollar.He what you to buy all these cream and foot wear to put inside of your shoes that dont work just more money out of your pocket. When you walk out of the office you will be broke and still in pain.
