Love the doctor and staff. Compassionate and interested in their patients.

Been a patient for about 1-1/2 years. Now no longer. 6 months ago doctor asked if I would try a different asthma medication, instead of the one I was on now that was working perfectly. I said I would try, but had my reservations. The new medication was $60 a month more and did not work for me. The old medication was free. I told the doctor 3 months ago and it took him 2 weeks to renew my old asthma medication. I was running on my emergency inhaler this whole time! Dr. Levy then gave me 3 months of my old medication to make up for this. Went to renew my old medication, and the office staff/nurse Nancy refused. Stating they had NO recollection of the incident 3 months ago. Refused to let me talk to the Dr. Levy, stated I could take myself somewhere else if I refused to take the new medication again, which did NOT work last time. The nurse said she and Dr. Levy had NO recollection of this event 3 months ago!!! Its been 2 weeks since I requested the renewal of my inhaler and they are refusing, and the very rude Nurse Nancy said I can go find another doctor! I am still on my emergency inhaler and now looking for a competent and carrying Doctor and staff that take notes and update my file properly without conveniently forgetting to put down which prescription inhaler I am on!

Terrible office managers who cannot send your records out when you need them. It’s the end of October and they haven’t sent out paperwork for a cpap machine they received in JULY. Waiting area is dated, small, and uncomfortable. Dr Levy is great, but the entire practice is bogged down by be office staff. Will be finding another primary office.

After 14 years here I recently went on Medicare and the start of questionable and suspect billing practices are forcing me to find a new doctor. The billing department serving this doctors office overbills without taking any corrective actions and could care less about the best interests of the patient and if amounts paid are properly accounted for and/or coordinated with insurance coverages. Being a senior I do not need to spend countless hours of my life reviewing procedures, mistakes and overcharges on the phone to fix negligent billing practices. I will instead find a different and patient friendly doctor of which there are many. My name here is a pseudonym for security and privacy protection. ~ Greed is NOT good. ~
