Professional and knowledgeable staff at the walk in chest pain clinic. This place is the best-kept secret in Auburn! Beats going to the ER during a pandemic (or anytime for that matter). Highly recommend

I was having chest pain and dizziness. The staff at the Chest Pain Walk In Clinic was very expedient, knowledgable, and conscientious to my situation and symptoms. I was taken very good care of and they were very comforting. I would recommend The Chest Pain Walk In Clinic to anyone having chest pain or emergent heart related symptoms. It was way better than the local ER.

I was seen at the chest pain clinic in the heart center and was given very good care. I came in to the front desk window and told her I was having pains in my chest. The nurse took me right back to a room and did a heart test with wires and took my blood. The pratictioner Tracy saw me in no time and checked me over. I had a xray done and a scan on my heart. I didnt have to worry about doing paperwork until later when I was feeling better. I have a appointment to come back tomorrow to do a test on a treadmill to be sure my heart is good.

I went to the Heart Center’s Urgent Care Clinic. I would rate my experience a 0 if I had the option. I had high hopes for my experience because I heard such great things. I just knew I was going to get the same experience.Well it didn’t happen for me. I went to the heart urgent care clinic hoping to receive help because I had severe chest and arm pain on Wednesday and I was still having some chest discomfort. The receptionist and the woman who took my initial vitals and a EKG were very kind. However my experience with the nurse practitioner Tracy was less desirable. Tracy asked where I lived and I told her. She suggested I may want to find a closer physician to where I lived. That should have been my first sign to RUN ! Then I spoke to Tracy about my current issues that she quickly dismissed as being associated with my heart despite the fact that my ekg that was done at the beginning of my visit was abnormal. Tracy said everyone has abnormal Ekg’s. Tracy never seemed to truly listen to my problems and she was dismissive of everything I said. I felt like my voice and my concerns were not heard. So, I asked what was wrong with me. Tracy initially said she wasn’t sure but she knew it wasn’t my heart and suggested I do stretches. Tracy said she was going to look at the results of my blood work that was done initially and come back to speak with me. Problem is , Tracy never came back. Tracy sent the poor receptionist to speak with me and give me my results and to tell me that I needed to schedule to come back for a stress test later this month but I didn’t need to be in a hurry to do it. The receptionist had a boot on her foot and was barely walking herself. I asked the receptionist to ask Tracy what did she suggest about my chest discomfort. The poor receptionist had to walk again and find Tracy. At this point, Tracy did not come directly back to speak with me. I ended up walking out of the patient room and into the waiting area to patiently wait to speak with the receptionist once she got off the phone. At this point, Tracy came out in the waiting area to speak with me. I asked Tracy about my continued chest discomfort. Tracy told me that I could have pulled a muscle and I needed to take ibuprofen with every meal. Tracy then said it could be my esophagus or just from standing up. Basically, she had no answers for me. Total waste of time and money. They don’t care about you. If you want to live, go somewhere else.

They don’t CARE. My boyfriend is dying from Covid he is a heart failure patient and he was told by the ER in Valley to go get an infusion in Opelika today and these doctors have not utilized communication and now he was denied the infusion and we can’t get a soul to make a phone call ! Mitchell is my boyfriend’s heart doctor and he’s simply not even pretended to put forth an effort in reference to a plan or advice .

I waited 2 hours past my appointment time to see Dr Mitchell. He spent 2 minutes in the room with me and kept trying to get up and leave before my questions were answered. Instead of spending the time explaining anything to me he had the receptionist print me off how to take care of yourself at home instructions that might as well have come from Wikipedia. Plan to spend your entire day waiting and leave without any answers.
