I booked a gel manicure, upon arriving I realized the salon was not well equipped as I had dip on my nails. I let the technician know I did not feel she would be able to file the dip off, and was prepared to leave. The technician assured me she had a gel polish that would dissolve the nails off. It took an hour and a half to fully remove my nails, after scraping and breaking my nails. Then the technician spent 15 minutes painting my nails, at very poor quality. I was at the salon for 1hr45min. I was even more disappointed to learn they were charging me $72 for a gel manicure. $72 for two layers of nails polish is very overpriced. I was told this gel would last 3 weeks, it barely lasted 3 days. I called the salon asking for a refund, and learned the salon has a policy not to remove dip nails and the technician was new and made a mistake. The receptionist offered me a refund and said the manager would call me. I never received a call. I received a ‘text message’ two days later after calling again offering a credit. When asking again for refund I have received no response. This entire experience was unprofessional and I would not recommend anyone use this salon for nail services.

Cryolipo was my saving grace after having my baby! I did one session, 4 paddles, noticed a difference in how my pants fit after the first 6 weeks. Once I hit my 12 week mark, I was down a whole pant size and now a year later I have dropped 3 pants sizes! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had three amazing cyrolipo sessions with Ashley, I noticed serious results after the second session! Ashley was incredibly professional and clean. This business promised to make good on a bad dye. Yet, they didnt. The same time they commented we scheduled a complimentary color to look good in the comments they called her and said she is not welcome to come back!! My wife left a bad review with the promise to change her review, once they fixed their poor job, they changed their mind BUT commented they would fix it!! My wife was called and told not to come back. This is a horrible business. No refund was giving, no corrective solution will be done. We were ripped off. I would never recommend this place, or doing business with a place they way they treat people. My wife posted photos of how her hair looked and she was told it was edited photos. Her employee at the front counter admitted it was terrible and looked like the photos that my wife posted.They even tried to blame that her hair was resistant to coloring NOT a way to treat customers!!!

I had my first appointment and experience at beauty bar recently, Although times are different right now, I still had a great experience! I was greeted with a smile and my stylist was very friendly. Terrible service. My daughter had her hair cut twice and both times they did a HORRIBLE wack job and color. She gave them the benefit of the doubt and chose a different hair dresser. Paid $450 between the 2 appointments. She called to let them know she was unhappy, and was told she would need to pay more money to have it fixed and then the lady on the phone hung up on her. Do NOT get services done here because they are expensive and will not make it right when youre unhappy with the service! Oh and the manager/owner does nothing! If i could rate this establishment a zero i would!

Every interaction I have had with this business has been positive. The girls here are so nice and the facility is beautiful! It’s very clean, great lighting, and also feels inviting. It can be hard walking into a salon where all the girls are so beautiful and put together but it didn’t feel intimidating or off-putting at all. There are tons of services available and the girls are very personable. Ashley, in particular, is very knowledgeable about her services and is so nice! You can tell she is passionate about what she does and she’s very good at it. I highly recommend TBB for their services and for their atmosphere!

I had never been to the Beauty Bar before and I was given a gift certificate for my birthday. I went for a CBD pedicure and I fell in love. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff were super kind. It was easy to carry a conversation with Emily, making me feel super comfortable, and of course when I left my feet felt AMAZING. They looked it too! Over all a great experience and I will absolutely be back!

I LOVE getting my har done by Emily!! I have weird social anxieties and was super nervous to come to a salon at first but I love the atmosphere and definitely feel comfortable here. Emily remembers what we do with my hair and Im always in love with myself again every time I leave. I have to pull down my trucks mirrors and admire my hair lol! Ive been to a few salons in New York and TBB experience is way superior the place is super clean and cute, but its the staff for me, very friendly and inviting! 11/10 recommend :)

There are different levels of salon specialists, for a price range to fit most budgets. Covid has changed a few things temporarily, however it’s still my favorite salon in the LA area.Stylists book up fast, especially with covid restrictions. Make sure to book ahead of time. Don’t forget to check out the hair products, jewelry and other odds and ends for sale before leaving!

About a week ago i went & had a lash lift done. from then on i had dry and itchy eyes and soon came a stye infection. i talked to one of the ladies that used to work there and was told you guys use products from china and use super cheap things to jack up the price. although the lady i had was super sweet, i did get an infection from whatever chemical products you guys used on my eyelid.

This place is horrible I advise no one else to ever go. They treated me so badly they don’t even know how to cut my daughters hair.

I finally decided to take the plunge and find a salon in the L/A area after moving here a year ago. I had a crusty, overgrown balayage with red over it, and wanted to go blonde: I asked the impossible. Amanda absolutely delivered!! My hair is blonde with no brass and I’ve gotten so many compliments. The icing on the cake was that Amanda was so kind and genuine, and the whole salon felt beautiful and luxurious without feeling stuffy or pretentious. I am SO happy I chose the beauty bar, and will be returning for every hair need! Thank you for an amazing appointment!

I love this place thanks to the awesome stylists but the professionalism of the business has definitely gone down and after 2-3 unanswered voicemails (since no one answers the phone) I’m done going back. Twice I have shown up early for my appointment, checked in, and had no one grab me until I went inside myself (against the rules) and announced that it was 10 minutes past my appointment time. Even then I would call and call and call with no one answering the phone. When I’d announce no one was answering or getting me for my appointment there was always little show of being apologetic. Keep in mind the stylist was not busy with anyone else so there was no excuse for no one keeping track of check ins. That alone almost made me go back home. But the fact that I have called numerous times with no answer and have left 2-3 voicemails over the past 2 weeks because the salon called to request a reschedule of my appointment time, I’m done. This is not how you make regular customers feel and it’s extremely sad. As I stated earlier I love the services, I always leave feeling gorgeous, but the complete lack of respect for my time and 0 responses to my calls, I’ll find somewhere else to go.Edit: let me be clear it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the new procedures at all! The stylists were laughing and talking in the back with no one at the front. I am well aware of the new procedures and have no issue. I have an issue with my appointment running late due to no one paying attention to check ins hence why I get an “oops, sorry” when I finally go inside to let them know. It has happened twice and once again had nothing to do with “being behind” or “sterilizing”. How quickly I get a response on google but no phone call in over 2 weeks. Add to the voicemail to contact a different way if no one intends on returning calls within 24 hours as the voicemail states

Getting massages at the beauty bar in Auburn is one of my favorite things to do. I work 45+ hours most weeks and being able to schedule relaxation, and self care at a great price is difficult.... I had order some products at the beginning of December. I have ordered before through the online purchase and have purchase several products in store [prior to pandemic]. I had essentially stuck with the same products- as I had adore the line. This order I did venture to a different product- knowing that they, The Beauty Bar, does take pride in service and product I figured it would be an good venture. I had received Cove Hydration. Excited to use the product, dove in. This product did not hydrate my hair, left my hair dull and dry and had awful smell. I had called The Beauty Bar; first call on 12/22- did not receive a call back. I figured it was close to the Holiday and I would call back after Holiday rush and before the 30 day return policy. Several calls placed on 12/29. I was able to connect with Lexi, receptionist [?]. We had a brief conversation about product, price and possibility of return- she had an empathy statement, understanding. I was pleased to know that she was going to provide me with contact info to the Manager to share my experience and see what options there are. However just before giving me the info she places me on a brief hold, silence, returns saying that COVID restrictions do not allow them to accept returns. I had my doubts of a return being honored weeks or months down the COVID road. Out of frustration I did say Bull and ridiculous possibly with a tone- That however did not warrant Lexi to hang up on me. I think this was unprofessional, does not support the customer and shows a lack of Empathy of the situations. Products arent cheap and we are all experiencing our own struggles. I had then taken to the Website sent a message asking for Manager information to further the conversation however had not received communication back. I have contacted Covid Business to ask about return policy and received information [via the business office and maine.gov] surrounding return policy. The return policy gives guidance on how to safely accept returns. There may be interpretation ability to insert a businesses stand on accepting returns - however I did not read where it states COVID restricts returns. Frustrated on the loss of money and product.

I had my eyebrows microbladed. Very happy with the results. This place is beautiful and the staff are all kind and professional.

I have long and straight eyelashes and they were bothering me so I decided to get an eyelash lift. I called a few hours before I wanted to go in and set up an appointment the receptionist was very kind and helpful over the phone. My appointment was set up in less then a minute. When I got here I did not have to wait long before Emily took me and did my eyelashes. This was my first time getting an eyelash lift and I am in love with the results Emily was so kind and explained everything she was doing while she was doing it. I will definitely be returning the next time I need an eyelash lift!

Pedicure is not what I expected for $60.00 will not go again. Doesnt even look like I had anything done. Staff was Awesome!!!!

Do not go to this salon. The owner is extremely unprofessional and does not take accountability for the poor job of her stylists work. What will happen is you will receive a poorly done service, be expected to not only pay for it in full but also expected to come back and spend more money for them to fix it. The owner is extremely rude, unprofessional, and avoidant when confronted about their poor business practices. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.I got my eyebrows microbladed per the stylists suggestion, totaling to a $300 cost. The microblading looks absolutely horrible to the point where friends and family have a hard time looking at it. The line of the ink goes far above my natural eyebrow hair and overall is probably the worst microblading job I have ever come across, even when looking online for other salons work. They refuse to give me a refund for the semi-permanent atrocity that they have left on my face, and instead insist I come back into the salon to pay an additional cost for them to fix it. Also, most importantly, the stylist did not send me any aftercare at all regarding the microblading procedure (though the owner claims she did, which is a blatant lie and displays their lack of communication and professional ethics within their own workplace), which was extremely dangerous and careless. The owner refuses to take accountability and does not respond to my lengthy emails with more than half an illiterate sentence. Do not go here.

The environment here is very friendly but the services are pricey and my hair did not come out at all like I wanted it to! I was very disappointed!!

Would NOT come back. Came here once and my hair was okayish but still had a few orange chunks. Came back a second time 2 weeks later to get it fixed and do some balayage and the toner used on my hair turned my roots bright orange when I did not want my roots touched at all. I came back the next day for a third time for them to tone my roots and this was the result. I called multiple times and got a busy phone and messaged them 3 or 4 days ago and have not heard back, though they seem to have time to post to their page. Stylists are friendly but are incredibly inexperienced . I understand it is a level based system but if they are all seeming to struggle with doing hair they should not be moved up past level 1/ or they should be consulting someone else if they are unsure of what they are doing. I spent way too much money for me to have to come home and fix it myself .

Since fixing the scheduling issue, I’ve had a much better time with the Beauty Bar. My stylist is the best and always remembers what I tell her. I’ve gotten my nails done with Miranda and they are great! The price is for the quality here and I appreciate the effort they put in to providing and personal experience with each and every customer that they have.

I went for a gel manicure and ended up very disappointed. The end result was sloppy and rushed, did not look like a professional manicure. I had to ask another stylist to fix a problem I saw, there was gel on my skin. It wasn’t till I saw my nails in the daylight that I really saw how bad they were (still had several areas of gel on my skin!). There were tiny hairs stuck in several nails (from cotton ball I hope), areas unpainted, painted skin, nail polish was lumpy. After the fact I realized I was overcharged as well. Stay clear unless you want to waste your time, get overcharged and have cheap looking nails.

This was my first visit to the Beauty Bar and certainly not my last, this is definitely my new place to go. Having been to some very trendy Salons in Jersey I didn’t expect the Beauty Bar to surpass my expectations but it did!I was lucky enough to have Master Stylist Heather do my hair and having naturally curly hair of course I had concerns but needless to say she lives up to her title and I walked out of there with the best hair cut and can’t wait to go back! This place is clean, fresh, chic and way above the other salons in the area.

Would not come here again to save my life. First time I ever came the stylist did an amazing job with my hair, took her time and advice from a few levels up and my hair came out amazing. I came back after they opened back up from quarantine and it’s like they forgot how to do hair. Why are level 2 stylists even allowed to touch a client’s hair if they don’t know what they are doing, clearly? I got my hair messed up not once, but twice after going there. First time I went back the stylist took 30 mins to do my balayage, most of her time was spent out back socializing with other stylists. I somehow still got charged with an extra fee for the “extra time” the stylist spent on my hair. I left the salon in tears once my hair finally dried as it was orange, brown, and blonde and blotchy. The worst dye job I have ever gotten. I messaged their Facebook page, called their store, and texted the phone number for customer service and finally got a response. I was told I could come back to get it fixed. I just wanted a refund which apparently they don’t provide (I checked the policy online and I’m pretty sure it’s not written anywhere). Anyways, after arguing with the owner about getting my hair fixed, and, the extra fee, she told me the extra fee is because my stylist had to take extra breaks to allow her to breathe from her mask. Give me a break. I work in healthcare and I’m pretty sure our patients don’t pay extra for us to wear masks? Now, I did go back a few days later to get my hair fixed by a different stylist. It looked okay the days following but now the toner is washing out, it’s extremely blotchy, and my roots are barely even blended. I’m pretty sure no one in that salon knows how to blend at all. It’s a joke. Don’t waste your money or your time.Said they never serviced me because they cannot handle a bad review. If google let me post, I’d gladly show the receipts.

I visited your establishment yesterday, 10/5. I am not a person who wears makeup, but yesterday was my sons wedding day and I wanted to have my make up done for the day. I explained to Heather that I was not one to wear a lot of make up and I was going for a natural look. My make up came back perfect, very natural and I received a lot of compliments. I received a gift cert for this place for Christmas. I booked an appointment online which seemed easy and convenient. After reading their very convoluted rating system for the levels of stylists (basically a self evaluted graduated pay scale), I chose a stylist with good reviews. When I arrived, I learned that I had booked my apt at the suite. I followed the stylist outside in the poorly lit parking lot around another business to a completely different building! It was starkly decorated with tacky dollar store items and I had to listen to someones loud phone playlist which was interrupted constantly with text notifications. The stylist had zero conversation skills and did not listen to a single word I said about what I wanted done. Her hair was pulled back in what I have dubbed as the lazy white trash bun that millenials seem to think is acceptable to leave the house wearing. It was an excruciating, awkward experience topped with having to then walk back outside to the real Beauty Bar to overpay, of course. All I wanted was to escape as she invented charges to the receptionist like oh, I used Toner too to pad the charges in order to use the entire $200 gift card. The Owner, who I spoke with later very sweetly recified the whole thing after explaining that the suite is a seperate business connected only by the website booking system, apparently. And Bri was not actually inluded in their invented exclusive level system and could charge whatever she wanted under the umbrella of the Beauty Bar name. Honestly, she would be a better suited at a Supercuts. I walked out feeling and looking worse than when I walked in only to have to go back in for a complete new session to fix it. The place is trying real hard to appear upscale (Great name!) But its a facade so they can overcharge.

Dirty facility , doesn’t sanitize the same products they use consistently all day everyday on all customers. I came back with an infection after services due to unsanitary conditions with hair supplies and nail supplies. Not worth it. Spend your hard earned monies elsewhere. Refusal to address any legitimate unsanitary concerns. They respond two months later that they can’t find me in their system, how ironic that they charged me two months ago but now all of a sudden can’t locate my info !! LMAO

I got a gift certificate for christmas for a facial mani pedi and got there and we had to wait like 20 mins then to be told i could not get my facial as i had dip nails and that is a process to remove so i just accepted to get a mani pedi and a basic one at that as the person who did me must have been learning as she was not experienced at all never filed my nails right had to tell her to do the sides of my nails and seemed like she was scared to give mani and pedis then to find out she was a beautition and dont know but why arent they training the techs before working on the customers when filing nails but had a wonderful facial and microderm since then and will getting my nails done by the experienced tech thursday as my nail polish lasted 3 days not impressed with this placed with gift certificates although my sister had a wonderful experience with hers just was not for me so sad i went there on 1 25 2019 Yvonne wilcox

I booked a massage with Jonnie, facial with Kelly and shellac manicure with Kelly. Both Jonnie and Kelly were very knowledgeable and professional. Jonnie provided an excellent hour long massage that left me feeling less tense and relaxed! Kelly provided a relaxing and delicious smelling facial that also left me feeling less tense and even more relaxed! Kelly also gave me a beautiful shellac manicure that topped my awesome visit off! I am very satisfied with the services I received and plan to book another spa day!

Ive been into the Beauty Bar a few times and each time I was incredibly happy with both the service and the people. Its such a good atmosphere and they do such a good job!
