I found this location while visiting Atlantic City and wanted to get my hair pressed. The staff was friendly and it took 2 hours for service to be performed on my natural hair. The humidity got to my hair immediately after service lol. I should have followed my first instinct and got it wrapped.If I ever visit again and need my hair done I will most likely visit this location again.

Every time I go theres always a family vibe. Everyone greets you offer coffee and always keep you up to date with all the local news. My highlights are always on point, 4 months in, and people from NYC (I live in Harlem) always ask me where I get my hair done and I say “catch a bus to AC bc no one can compete in nyc.” And I get my teeth whitened there too! It’s on the verge to be a spa that does hair tbh.

Was is ACY for the weekend and decided to get some highlights. This might be a humble little salon but its full of BIG talent. Thank you Mayra and Cathy for such a the beautiful color and killer blow out. Will come see you every time Im in town.

I took my daughter with me on this trip to Mayra’s Beauty Salon and we enjoyed every moment of our visit. I would recommend this salon if you need your hair care needs met and as a added bonus there where fast.

I live in North Jersey and was in AC for the weekend. I needed my hair done. I was reluctant to get it done but it couldnt wait😂😂. Let me tell you Carmen did an amazing job. Best body filled blowout ever!! She did that!!And let me tell every stylist in there hair was on point!!Make me wanna spend the 2 hour drive on a regular!!

My hair was left very bouncy and shiny with a nice short cut. I got highlights from here September, 2017. Its know December, 2018 and there still here! Very beautiful work! The salon is nicely cleaned and the prices are appropriate compared to other places Ive been. Not very packed with people and its only about an hour to get a blow-out. They except debit and credit and walk ins are welcome, I came on Christmas eve and they were happy to do my hair. The hair artist speak Spanish and English and they are very nice.

I’m visiting AC from North Carolina for the weekend. I just happened to find the salon on google. I picked them because another review had mentioned it being across the street from a a nail salon. Service was fast, I walked in at 12:55pm and was done by 1:58. I love great customer service and this salon had it. This salon is great and I would recommend people going here.

The nail salon is right across the street with the barbershop. They did an awesome job! I went in there with MONSTER CLAWS!!! and Lili breathed life into my soles! Even met a sista whos a truck driver with 3 kids. Coolest energy Ive met in a long time. 🤗

The lady detangling my hair constantly made unpleasant facial expressions while combing through my hair. Also she combed my natural (not sure if im still natural... mightve put perm in the conditioner) with a rat-tail comb causing breakage! When combing black hair you should use a wide tooth comb. As a hair stylist you should care about the quality of your customers hair, NOT just the outcome.Update- A mild relaxer/texturized was used in my hair without my consent.

Laura bought my hair back to life. I had an wonderful experience....I will continue to keep going here.
