In the last 5 months Greenidge Funeral Homes has handled the services for my Mother & Brother in law (They also handled my sister & Nieces funeral services as well, quite a few years ago).My family & I were pleased with the way everything was handled. Joe Greenidge listened attentively to what our wants & needs were for both funerals. The services were tasteful and our loved ones looked amazing. The COVID Pandemic has made it difficult when having funeral services, but they made it work for us. They informed us in advance of the Guidelines and how we could potentially make it a smooth service & keep everyone protected. So people could pay their respects and we could say good bye. He covered all bases, even things we didn’t initially think of, so nothing was missed. Until you have to plan a funeral whether burial or cremation, you really don’t understand all that goes into it. Joe and his team help with that burden of the unknown, so you can focus on what matters most, the loss of your loved one. He was very informative, provided information that helped us recoup some of our expenses as well. When my father unexpectedly passed a state away from where I live, Greenidge was prompt and readily available to respond to my needs, showing me a patience that is clearly well developed and professional. I really appreciated them walking me through what needed to be done (at the height of stress and demands from other parties), and following up with me, as well as being available for additional paperwork-related issues of mine after the fact. Because of the suddenness of the death and lack of other avenues, I had to pay for services out of pocket on credit. That said, Id like to report that I applied for FEMA Covid-19 funeral reimbursement on the day it began taking applications, and this week received full reimbursement, thanks in part to the convenient electronic documentation I already had on hand from my dealings with Greenidge. Funeral services are indeed costly, but I am glad that with Greenidge I did not feel overwhelmed by confusion or misled in any way. Its very easy to be taken advantage of at the vulnerable hour of the death of a loved one, so again, thank you to Greenidge for this professionalism. It is much appreciated.

Greenidge Funeral Home provided quality service for my family during the loss of my mother. We were guided through the process from the first phone call to the burial. This funeral home treated my family poorly during our time of bereavement. This company knows my family VERY well, as they have handled the funerals of everyone in my family for generations, and Joe is a personal friend of my uncle. These people were nothing but rude, condescending, and incompetent. Losing my Grandfather on Christmas eve was traumatic, the way these people treated my family was just hurtful.
