My experience with Dr. Boyce has been disappointing. I have been a patient of his for 2+ years and always come away from a visit thinking he hasnt heard me and he is in a hurry to leave. In a recent visit, I wanted help with a problem and again he fell short. He didnt take time to set up a treatment plan. When I pressed him on how to treat it, he made a minor adjustment on the use of my inhaler. In addition, his nurse said that since I was late for your appointment, the doctor is going to do a tele-visit before seeing me. I told her I wasnt late, I was five minutes early. I dont think this doctor is ever going to work for me. Even after the visit, I was annoyed to find out my prescription had been called into the wrong pharmacy. I have been using the same pharmacy for over a year and a half. I have made the effort to ask questions to try to get the answers and treatment I need, but my efforts are not working. I have decided to go back to a pulmonary doctor I was seeing years ago, who has moved to another area making it a long drive from my house, but I think it will be worth the drive.

Dr. Boyce makes a good connection with his patients and is attentive to concerns and fears. He is very knowledgeable, not only about his specialties, but also of his patients chart and progress.
