Dr Horwitz is a wonderful, caring and kind man. He loves his patients and they trust him. I really like this guy...very well informed & up-to-date on all the new stuff (pharma) & does NOT push the trendy designer drugs for any cause other unless he feels you just might benefit from it...truly.He is open to listening to all...alll...of my actual, real life issues which sometimes seen (to me) to be insurmountable or horribly shameful or whatever other reason I can conjure up to flagellate my self worth with. All I know is Im getting better & Dr. Horwitz has helo ME to keep ME, grounded & maintain healthy perspective. He has perfected the authentic art of balancing professionalism & tact while remaining straightforward & realistic about what may help you, if u are willing.I need someone to tell me like it is and simultaneously not appear to lack compassion or interest. He does that very successfully & I know I am not an easy case. SO personable and has always made me feel comfortable. He was my doctor from 2007-2013. I moved to Texas for a few years and saw a regular MD for my prescription needs (totally not the same). I just moved back earlier this year and was beyond amazed that my name was still in his scheduling system ANDDDD I was able to get an appointment for the very next day. His office fee is nominal in comparison to other doctors in the area and his front office staff returns scheduling calls in a timely manner. Thank you, Doctor Horwitz!!!SIDE NOTE: Free parking, nice building, and right next to a Publix & Walgreens in case you need to fill a prescription that day.

Hi, im andrea’Ive been seeing Dr. Horowitz for a good three or four years now . If I were to describe him I would call him gracious and non- judge mental. I have had some psychiatrists in the past who ended up going out of business quickly so I’m glad that Dr. Horowitz is someone I know will stay around for a while that I can count on . I see him every three months and I think he is a very good doctor if you are looking for long-term care . Time is valuable so appointments are quick and easy . And I’m very happy he finally got the online scheduling set up for future appointments. I was quite surprised when I saw him last that he could tell right away there was something not right with me. I had been through a really horrific time in my life my home got condemned and I had to move out because the roof caved in and my landlord didn’t have homeowners insurance . After that I had a really hard time adjusting to my new house and some medical issues and I have become quite depressed and sad trying to recover from such I lengthy period of time that I was stressed out . I Have been on the same medications are quite a number of years but this visit I decided maybe I would take a leap of faith and try and antidepressant so I’m really hoping this will help and I’m glad to have Dr. Horowitz to help me through this time .

Let me start off by saying that dr horwitz is the absolute best psychiatrist that me and my kids have ever been to. If it wasnt for him, my daughter Kimberly would be in a mental hospital, we have been going to him for many years (about 10) . He really does genuinely care about his patients. Just recently the insurance we switched to doesnt have him in their network but we are hoping to get switched back to my old insurance soon. So if you are wanting a dr that listens and really cares, this is him, you will be satisfied, he is the best

Dr Horwitz has been my psychiatrist for 7 years now, He is, by far, the most likable, helpful, and patient doctor I have encountered thus far, He has helped me tremendously!

Rarely do they answer the phone. It says they are open and even on days when they have receptionists or assistants, its hard to schedule an appointment.

Best doctor period.

He is short with clients and bad beside manner.
