Dr. Hill and her staff are the best! Each time Ive had an appointment, there was little to no wait time before being seen by the doctor. The sign is process is electronic so theres no need to fill out tons of paperwork by hand. Dr. Hill has the warmest disposition which creates a comfortable space to ask questions. Ive referred two friends already.😊

The scheduling is a joke and so is her unknowledgeable staff .. she says one thing and the office does their own thing. Obviously they run the building and not Dr Hill .. she will never thrive off a business when your staff is incompetent and you follow behind them:: we pay you ..and you pay your staff.. without your patients you won’t have a business! There are plenty of other dermatologist out here who value their patients over staffs personal feelings because they think they can talk to you anyway and you can’t ! Carry on‼️

The employees at SOCAH are superb! They are very courteous and extremely helpful. Dr. Hill is an excellent dermatologist. She is extremely patient and is very thorough with her analysis. I had bad alopecia and she was able to help me regrow my hair. Her suggestions for products for my skin have left me with glowing, bright, clear, and plump youthful skin. I would highly recommend her practice as one of very high excellence! You will not be disappointed!

This practice profits off the backs of patients insecurities. I almost went through with scheduling a transplant procedure with Dr. Hill, but something told me to get a second opinion. I made two four hour trips just for the appointments to be 5 minutes long. The appointment was very rushed and I was given very little detail as to what was going on with my scalp. I spent roughly 300 dollars between both visits, just to be given a scalp oil and a word document on how to treat dry hair. If you are looking to get a cosmetic procedure like myself make sure the doctor explains everything. You should not be left in the dark about a procedure that will permanently alter your body. Most cosmetic consultations are free so please consider other routes before coming here. The staff also seemed very uneducated on financing options and scheduling. I scheduled here due to the reviews but my experience definitely wasn’t representative of the 4.9 stars. Overpriced with poor service.

First time experience was beyond my expectations. The staff was super friendly and the office had such a welcoming vibe. You could feel it as soon as you walk through the door. Dr. Hill was so kind and patience. Answering all of my questions regarding my issue with hair loss. She was able to do a biopsy in the same day and assured me that we would get to the bottom of my issue. I left feeling very hopeful. Definitely happy I found her and I feel like Im in excellent hands with Dr. Hill.

I was referred to Dr. Hill by an acquaintance and am delighted that I made the decision to come. Dr. Hill and staff are polite and caring. I have been dealing with a hereditary skin condition all my life and thought that there was no hope to help it. Dr. Hill quickly looked at my skin and told me not to worry and that she knew exactly what to give me. I have been to other dermatologist offices and could never seem to see improvement with the prescribed creams and lotions prescribed to me. I have probably spent thousands of dollars on products that advertised what it would do but it never helped me, so I thought to myself yeah right I’m sure this isn’t going to work either. Dr. Hill advised me to use one of her topical formulas and an over the counter product combined. Low and behold this formulation worked! Where had Dr. Hill been all my life. I have NEVER revealed or exposed my skin outside of the comforts of my home and now I am able to do it! Thank you Dr. Hill for your knowledge and expertise. You definitely have a patient for life!

What place gives you real time updates at 6am to ensure that the appointment is still good to go during inclement weather?Weekly emails and text messages confirming my appointment and instructing patients on how to fill out forms efficiently to practice social distancing. Dr. Hill and her staff and very friendly and professional. They send reminder texts about your appointment. They send texts the day of your appointment to check on your arrival time and tell you can come into the office. They reply to all of your texts in a timely manner. They are very accommodating. Dr. Hill is patient and will answer all of your questions. I had more questions after Dr. Hill went to see her next patient. The assistant took my questions, inquired about my time because she did not want me to wait too long. I chose to wait. Dr. Hill came back to answer my questions between patients. They provide great service at SOCAH.

Dr. Hill is an AMAZING doctor who’s been seeing me for a while now. Everyone in the practice is super nice and really helpful. Dr. Hill always listens to me and never makes me feel rushed at all. She’s really sweet and she really cares about her patients. I’ve seen her both virtually and in person and both her and her team have always exceeded my expectations.

Very professional. I started with Dr. Hill in her first smaller office. I was seeing her for hair loss in the crown of my head. I was self pay patient so it was very expensive, $100.00+ per visit. I paid for a scalp biopsy because I was desperate to regrow my hair. The treatment plan she advised was for 6 months. After 9 months of no changes I felt as if I was being ripped off. I stopped going & started going back once she moved into her new office. The billing is absolutely horrible! Worst nightmare now that they accept insurance. They would advise one copay amount I would pay it, then be told I had balance the next appointment. Each appointment the cost was different. Always owed a balance & know one could expain it. I was on the hair antifungal meds for 8 months straight & kept asking what the next steps were because I was getting no results. Dr. Hill kept saying they needed to create a base. But after 9 months & several hundred dollars I gave up & stopped going. I contacted the office again recently after being gone for over a year & made an appointment. After the appointment was made I received an old invoice from 2019 for $100+ this turned me off completely & I cancelled the appointment. Dr. Hill is very kind, warm & polite. However, I got absolutely nowhere with my hair loss.

Dr. Niki and her staff are amazing! I have never been to a dermatologist before and they make your experience smooth and easy. The wait time is very short, and recieving directions on the products or prescription to use can be sent to your email for easy access. Also, their covid process is very helpful and easy to follow.My esthetician Dolce helped me with a black head. My experience with Socah was refreshing. Dr. Nikki was wonderful. I was excited to try this office as it is very close and very well reviewed. I, however, did not enjoy my experience and will not be back. The dermatologist herself is incredibly sweet and had a nice way of handling my child. Thus, the only reason Im even giving this office two stars. The front desk is a ZERO. I needed an appointment because my five year old had a wart on her elbow. I asked how much it would be to have it cut off. Several times they did like most places and had no idea what they actually charge. I asked several times and said I needed to know the price before coming. I have a high deductible plan, so I know Im almost always paying the full price and so it can be pricey and I dont want to be caught off guard. I confirmed three times that the approx $150 price I was being given was to cut off the wart. I was very clear about what I wanted and very clear about needing to know the price and very clear to confirm it. When we got there I paid the fee upfront. The dermatologist asked if I wanted a patch to dissolve it or if I wanted it shaved and I said I wanted it shaved off bc my experience is that the patches have never worked. She said ok, did a numbing shot and shaved off the wart. Upon getting ready to leave, I was told I owed and additional approx $175. I said, what are you talking about? I confirmed several times the cost to CUT OFF the wart before coming. They said it was extra. The girl that had helped me on the phone just sat there and didnt say anything while the front desk manager (office manager) was completely rude and condescending to me. She told me that its obvious when they do more it costs more. To which, I responded that I clarified multiple times before coming. I barely had the money for the initial fee, let alone more than doubling it. To keep this in perspective, a numbing shot and shaving of a wart cost over $325! For a dang wart!Perhaps if price doesnt matter to you, then youll be fine here and can avoid the condescending attitudes. If you are sensitive to pricing or need transparency in pricing, then this place isnt for you.Edited: response to the vendors response...The response is appreciated, but please just take the feedback and try to quote people the best you can. You can very obviously leave it open ended that things will cost more if they turn out to be more than what is being described over the phone and you identify different needs during the office consultation. But, once again, I was very specific that I wanted a wart CUT OFF. Its not rocket science. You can put a price sheet next to the phone that says, Basic Wart Removal with injection of numbing = $325. Then, I would at least know what the starting point was and not feel like Im being lied to. I appreciate that there has been a front office change for whatever reason, but not confident enough to be back. My child now has three additional warts located on her foot, and I am actively looking to drive three times the distance in search of an office with predictable billing. Its shows a particular sign of disrespect to people to think that price is no object for their customers. Whether my child needs $100 or $1000 worth of work is up to me to figure out how to make it work, but you have to be honest in your pricing approach. Furthermore, wart removal still seems like one of those things if you wanted to do a double visit to first assess and then recommend, it probably would be more than $325...which is, in my opinion, too high a price for basic wart cut-off. Im price sensitive in that I want to know up front. Will continue to search for an office capable of this. My dentist is soooooo good at giving us predictable pricing. So, I know it can be done, even when insurance is included. Thanks again.

I got really emotional at the time of my visit, both Dr. Hill and her assistant were very supportive and kind. I am just starting my treatments and will follow up once I start seeing my results. The whole experience was very accommodating. Her whole office models Dr. Hills professionalism, dedication to serving and helping her patients. I would recommend this office. I would advise you to check with your insurance provider before going to your appointment to make sure that you are aware of what your out of pocket responsibility may be. Dr. Hill is amazing and a really kind doctor, but the office staff as of late have not been helpful at all. I have had so much difficulty trying to get a hold of them for the past month now (will not reply to my e-mails), and the one time someone did answer the phone, she condescendingly said Well I dont know what to say because we replied, so its probably an issue with your e-mail, although I received a no-reply appointment reminder (so clearly not an issue with my e-mail), and I have not received a reply in my patient portal either (completely different server). I would give Dr. Hill 5 stars, but the only reason I said 3 is because of the unreliable office staff.

Over a period of time, we believe it had caused extreme thinning at the top. He has no heredity Genes in his family or hair thinning so we knew it was either the weight of the hair or hormonal imbalance or stress. My husband hair means everything to him, so much so that we drove 4 hours and took off from work to see Dr. Hill so we could get help. We were so desperate. We didnt care even about the cost anymore. watching your husband in tears and shame cause a whole level of pain as his wife. And I knew we had to get to the bottom of this. Im crying as I type this!!!!! Mark my words. Im telling you all the truth!! This place however is ALL about money. its $200 just to be seen because were self pay which we didnt mind paying and thats the cost for most self pay even more. because I was so desperate and we knew what was expected before we went. I mean this in the up most respect, I am not trying to ruin this business but I have to speak the truth!!! Maybe just maybe something will change!!! However, She looked at my husbands scalp and told him about all these oils she was going to put together just for his hair. Well its seems as if that was a lie. It was minixopril!! They didnt think we would know!!! We drove 4 hours to get a form of rogaine which we can buy from the store!!!!! Once you stop using rogaine, your hair could possibly fall out or even get worse. You didnt run no test nothing!!! Bam precibe and lets wait for 3 mos!! You have to use it for the rest of your life!!! My thing is at least give us a head up what this is and could possibly cause instead of just prescribing that but u didnt!!!!! We messaged them and ask them if we could change to something else or that we wasnt aware that she was going to be using this. Even though money wasnt a big deal for me it shocked me that They wanted us to pay $100 just to ask a question!!!! I told them I paid $200, drive 4 hours and I have to pay $100 to ask a question. I know Dr. Hill time is money, I get it!! You have a family to feed!! You have an establishment and business to run. Employees to pay. You are a beautiful black educated woman But I thought you all was so much better than this!!!! Im pretty sure you dont care much about my husbands hair!! You prob didnt care how far we drove either. She didnt do nothing but look at the scalp and prescribe that rogaine I believe they did it so we can keep going back which is more money!!! I work in a doctors office and our patients can call and ask questions without paying $100.00 for a virtual visit!! They finallycalled us because I told them they would have to bill me because I just spent $200 , however ill do anything for my husband and they called and said that my husband would use rogaine and wing my husband off it!!! I just visited this office for the first time a little over a week ago. Within the first three days I could tell a difference in my skin. Its clearer its glowing. I dont see the acne that I saw a week ago. The dark circles around my eyes, pigmentation uneven skin tone is all cleared up or is clearing up fairly quickly. I absolutely love this place I would recommend them to anyone Ive never seen such fast results and I have been trying everything prior to coming here.

I went to Dr Nikki Hill for the FUE Transplant. There were thinning spots on my scalp that I felt should be taken care of sooner than later. Dr Hill was able to perform this procedure and get me to a place of satisfaction. Dr Hill answered all of my questions in a professional manner. Her approach is very calm. She listens to your concerns and responds accordingly . She is also very patient and very kind. Her staff are some of the best in the city. During my procedure, i could not sit still for some reason, but they all remained patient and worked with me. I give this office and staff 10 out of 5 stars.. Thank You Dr Hill

GOOD: Let me start off by saying that Dr. Hill is a very sweet woman. I found her through Google and was excited to schedule with her because of her 5-star reviews. Professional.BAD: My issue with all doctors comes down to whats more important to them, your money or you. For my 1st appointment I was told I needed to pay before my appointment ($220). During that appointment I was told I needed a scalp biopsy (+ $580) and that the biopsy needed to be sent to the pathology to get my results (+ $260 pathology bill). I also needed to schedule another appointment to get my results from my biopsy. During my first appointment she prescribed me a few items including a hair oil from their pharmacy. THE HAIR OIL WAS $80! ...AND I wasnt even informed on what exactly it was! I didnt get it or any of the prescriptions. In my opinion, the billing was so vague that I had already made up my mind that Dr. Hills office was not for me, but I did decide to go back to get the results of my biopsy, (another $130). (TOTAL: $1,190) I had racked up over $1000 in doctors charges to confirm what I already knew, that I had scalp inflammation. I couldnt imagine the charges Id incur actually attempting to get treatment there, so I went in search for anther dermatologist.I went to another doctor for a second opinion (Dr. Bellamy- Olansky Dermatology Associates). I mentioned nothing of my previous appointment with Dr. Hill. I wanted to see her recommendations and approach. She examined my scalp, diagnosed me, AND began my treatment all in one appointment (all in 30 minutes). I asked her if I needed a scalp biopsy and she said no, that she could look at my scalp and tell exactly what was going on without me having to spend extra money on a biopsy. Her diagnoses and treatment plan was dead on and way more detailed than Dr. Hills. She prescribed me meds all of which were only $25 a prescription (no insurance) and started my steroid injections THAT SAME APPOINTMENT. I recently canceled my insurance so I was nervous as to what my bill with Dr. Bellamy would be since I was now paying fully out of pocket. IT WAS ONLY $175!!!, and that was including the steroid injections!!! Im so happy that I found Dr. Bellamy, and thats not to discount Dr. Hill, but her office just isnt for me, or my bank account.

I arrived early for my appointment. I was checked in by the friendliest receptionist who turned out to be Dr. Hill 😂. She said they would might be able to see me early since I had driven so far. They did. My appointment was extremely informative. She explained everything that was going on. She answered my questions. She talked about several different options and how the best option was not an option for me based on family history. That was big. I appreciate her honesty and candor. Dr. Hill and her staff were professional, friendly and most of all timely. No waiting in the lobby. This is money and time well spent. I will update in a few months with the results of the treatment.

She designs a comprehensive and continuous plan to meet and exceed your goals. Her gentle and empathetic nature yields a high-level of trust and confidentiality. The results you are able to realize with Dr. Hill will keep you smiling. Whatever side of town you reside, its worth your time to pay her a visit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

I felt very comfortable and at ease with Dr. Hill from the very moment she introduced herself until I left her office. She was on time, she educated me about my condition, expected outcomes and timeline. I dont think that I will be going to anyone else. Its worth the time, energy, drive and money to have her as your dermatologist. I am hopeful about regrowing my hair.Update* I’m still under the care of Dr. Nikki for all of my dermatology needs and I won’t go anywhere else!

I went for the first time this morning. Everyone was so sweet and patient. I’m excited to start this journey with Dr. Nikki Hill to flawless skin. She made me feel so comfortable.

The staff was welcoming and Dr. Hill was very thorough in developing a regimen to address my skin care needs. She didn’t rush my appointment and answered all of my questions and concerns in great detail. She is very affable and I love the convenience of the virtual appointment follow-up option.

Dr. Hill is very experienced at what she does. I love the fact that she shows care and concern while being professional and friendly all in one. I travel a few hours and adjust a few schedules to make my appointments with Dr. Hill because I am pleased with my results and after searching for a trusting dermatologist for years I believe my search is over.
