I scheduled an appointment 3 days ago through Zocdoc and it is still pending. I received a phone call later that day from the front desk that said my appointment isn’t secure and that they needed more information from me. Then at the end of the message they told me to call back the following day because they are short staffed. I called back immediately because I was worried about not getting my appointment confirmed and left a message. I called again the following day and nobody answered. I am still waiting for a phone call. I decided this is not the best first impression for a new dentist, so I will find another dentist. The reviews were great and I was looking forward to meeting Dr. Harvey. I hope you can find staff so it doesn’t turn away potential patients.

Terrible experience at Buckhead Family Dentistry on so Many levels.1. The front office staff are extremely incompetent. I have spent so much time on the phone trying to do their own jobs for them as they don’t understand what’s going on.2. This is serious and I will be taking this further. They performed work on one of my teeth which was not discussed with me prior to the procedure. No costs outlined beforehand to me. I was sedated at the time so maybe they thought they could get away with this because I was under sedation. I did some research into this. They should have outlined everything to me prior to doing ANYTHING on my teeth, and should have asked for my INFORMED CONSENT to either agree and accept their recommendation or decline it. However, I was cheated of this decision. I am distraught about this and can not believe they would think it’s acceptable to do this to a patient without their consent.PLEASE BEWARE of visiting this practice!

Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. I came in for a simple cleaning and a couple of fillings, had to go back several times to get the worn redone, taking leave from work and having to commute an hour to get here. I was only given post op procedures after I requested for them. You will never receive a call back if you leave a voicemail.Probably the icing on the cake is that they referred me to a endodontist for a root canal and they were out of network! I mean, the lack of attention to detail this office shows is astounding. Horrible, horrible experience.

I Moved here from NYC and was looking for a Dentist I didnt want just any Dentist. I wanted someone who looked like me and understood my needs. I found Dr Paige on Zocdoc and decided to give him a visit based on reviews. I was met with exceptional service from the time I entered the office until I left. I was treated like family everyone on staff is extremely friendly. I can call the office anytime and whatever concerns I have are quickly addressed. If you are ever in the Buckhead area and needs a dentist I highly recommend this practice, bedside manner is exceptional.

I recently moved to Atlanta from NYC and was in need of a dentist. I found Dr. Paige on google and decided to give it a chance, so happy I did! Dr. Paige and his staff are so nice and professional. I immediately felt comfortable from the beginning to the end of my service. The office is very clean and relaxing, I definitely recommend this dentist!!

TLDR: Buckhead Family dentistry is overly aggressive in their recommendation of treatments and is clearly motivated to extract every dollar possible from patients, at the expense of their dental health.I needed to find a new dentist in the Atlanta area and decided to visit Buckhead family dentistry for a cleaning. The technician claimed I would need three new fillings and a rework of two old fillings. Dr. Paige came in and agreed, though he was only present briefly and the visit felt quite rushed.They also said I had a dead tooth and that I was grinding my teeth. I have one tooth at a slight angle and they sent me home with a referral to orthodontics even though I made it clear I was not interested in getting braces again.I take good care of my teeth and was suspicious about how suddenly I needed five fillings? I went back to my old dentist (who teaches dentistry at the University of Florida) and he did not recommend any of the interventions proposed by Buckhead Dentistry. Furthermore, my tooth is not dead and I was not showing strong evidence of grinding my teeth.Lesson: Get a second opinion.

Dr. Paige and his staff are great and do a wonderful job building rapport with their patients! The hygienists are the best with oral health education and Fay is my favorite.My only gripe - I was not pleased that an employee checking me out after my recent appointment demanded I sign a quote for a future service. She claimed I HAD to sign it to verify she discussed it with me. After I refused, she angrily turned the paper back to her and wrote “patient refused to sign”.Other than that experience, this a great practice.

I am flabbergasted at how wonderful the customer service is at Buckhead Family Dentistry. The Dentist and staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable for my first tooth pulling and confident that the surgery would be a success. Faye and Doctor Page have saved my mouth, teeth and gums. From basic instructions to their professional knowledge they share (and I am persistently following their instructions). They have been patient with me when I didnt follow instructions. I would recommend-insist anyone and everyone to take oral issues and oral maintenance to Buckhead Family Dentistry. I am not looking forward to having my wisdom teeth removed in 2020 (my plan) but it is something I must take care of for my own health and I will be in good hands with Buckhead Family Dentistry.

If you like spending $500.00 on a basic cleaning WITH DENTAL INSURANCE....THIS IS THE PLACE!This dental office is extremely over priced. I highly recommend driving out of the city and away from this office to SAVE HUNDREDS.... A regular dental visit normally consists of a professional cleaning, a comprehensive exam, x-rays, and oral cancer screenings. Normally, a complete dental cleaning and exam can average around $150-$350.I fortunately wasnt a patient at this office but my fiance was- I could not believe the cost. Im in the dental field, I know this price isnt normal...dont get taken advantage of.

They sent you an email suggesting you submit an appointment request. “We will get back to you shortly“ and never get back! You can wait and wait until you give them a call. They do not apologize. Their response is like “We don’t receive clients requests. It’s automatically generated” sounds like “we don’t care that you have been waiting for our response for several days“. They know that their clients receive this kind of messages and they don’t care!And my husband have had awful experience with them.

I revisited Buckhead Family Dentistry recently. The new staff here is extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. The check-in process was quick and easy, and my entire visit was efficiently done. They do not validate for parking, but it is not too expensive.

Dr. Paige is a great dentist and a perfectionist. The office is clean and they are taking extra precautions due to covid. I felt very comfortable going in during this time.

I always have a great visit at Buckhead Family Dentistry. The staff is warm and friendly, the hygienist do great work plus the atmosphere is pleasant. Dr. Paige does impeccable work. He is personable and funny but more importantly he take his profession seriously and want the best dental care for all his patients.

We moved and needed a new dentist. After reading reviews I decided my wife and I should try this place. I will agree, at first everything seemed great, location, building, the office, all great. The office, the staff very friendly and clean. Seems Super, right.... nope this place is a scam as far as Me and my wife are concerned. After the initial check up, I was told I needed a crown because I grind my teeth. I trusted them enough agreed to the crown. One year later, I’m told I need 3 crowns, the one from last year needed to be replaced and the tooth in front and back of that tooth needs a crown. I was advised to do all three crowns at the same time. I was in the chair from 9 ish till about 1:30-2:00. I had a 45 minute break while they made my crowns.during this time, those 3 teeth were filed down, raw and exposed for 45 minutes. The crowns were put on and off I went. I expected pain, but nothing like I went thru. I went back 2 times for help with the pain, the dentist never even came in to check in on me. The technician actually filed my teeth down all over the place to help with my bite , that is now still off. I ended up at dr Abeles for TMJ TREATMENT. And needed a mouth guard. To this day, I can’t chew gum, eat nuts or eat on my right side.My life has changed physically from going to this dentist and Dr. Paige never, not even once reached out to me. My wife, she was told she also grinds her teeth and that she needed a crown, she was the smarter one and got a second opinion. Our current dentist has never mentioned her needing a crown or either of us grinding our teeth.Don’t be fooled by what you see at first. This place is horrible. Any dentist can do a check up and a cleaning, their staff can be nice... but when the ruin your bite, and cause you months of pain.. it won’t be so great for you either. Dr. kimche is an amazing dentist and is our new dentist. I am grateful and humbled by their help and kindness getting my passed my fear of dentist now.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Paige for my dental needs and Ms. Katrina for my hygienist needs since July of 2017 and I don’t ever want to switch my dental office. Always the greatest experiences at this office. I love the staff!

I went to Buckhead Family Dentistry for several years and never had an issue with anything, until recently when I had some additional work done to a chipped tooth. BFD ran my insurance and claimed that insurance would pay for 60% of the operation so I went ahead and had the operation completed and paid the amount that I owed. 1 month later, I received a bill from them totaling over $1,000 for the balance that insurance was supposed to pay. After checking with the dentist, they claimed that insurance re-neged on them and would not pay for any of the operation, however when I spoke to my insurance company, they confirmed that this particular operation was never covered and that the dentist did not reach out to them to discuss the operation in question.So in short, if you choose to go to Buckhead Family Dentistry, do not take them at their word on how much an operation will be covered by insurance. There will always be some fine print in the estimated costs of services they give you, but BFD sold me on an operation that they claimed would be partly covered by my insurance that I would have never gotten if I knew that I would be responsible for paying the full amount. This left a really sour taste in my mouth (no pun intended) so I have chosen to switch to a different dentist office.

Dr. Paige did an excellent job with 2 crown installs. My teeth are very sensative and he made sure I had enough anesthesia to lessen the pain. His swiftness and patience was a plus. I would definitely recommend him and his expertise for quality dental care. His dental assistants are great too.

I just returned to Dr Paige a few months ago he was my dentist when I was a teenager and Im almost 40 now, hes still as handsome as ever lol very professional and witty as well as quick. His staff are all friendly and professional as well. When going there I feel like im with a group of friends. Anywhoo I went today for two fillings I got to the office at 8am and was done by 830!!!!! Like where can you go in Atlanta in buckhead to any type of doctor or dentist office and be done in 30 minutes!!!!! Love love absolutely love Dr. Paige!! You have to go see him and again you have a nice face to look at while your teeth are being drilled on😆😆😊👍🏾

Just like the rest of the reviews, this office will quote you a price for services, then the price quadruples when its time to pay. I had to pay over $700 out of pocket for a deep cleaning and fillings that I am starting to believe I didnt even need. The way they handle their business is unprofessional and they are scammers. Beware. I will say the doctor and hygienists are kind, but dont even waste your time and money dealing with them.

This office is so unprofessional!!!!!! They always call to reschedule appointments or to move your appointment to different time. Office needs new staff who actually knows what they are doing because the front office don’t! Office manager is clueless. Dr. Paige is rude & talks over you. He spent 3 sec in the room with me! From the moment I made my appointment, I knew I was going to have an exceptional experience. I can literally say that each and every staff member that interacted with me was in a word, amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. However, I was billed for a $50 fine for a late cancel from 7 months ago. The fine was given to me within seconds of scheduling a procedure that would cost me $900 out of pocket. I paid the fine and cancelled the procedure. I personally think its bad business to charge a fine to a customer whos about to spend a lot of money. Ill spend my $900 elsewhere.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic is still relevant right now, Buckhead Family Denistry has adopted to the CDC guidelines. My experience on May 22, 2020 was a great experience! Hand sanitizer was available, wearing a mask was a requirement, and all patience were 6 feet apart. This was simple due to a minimum of patients allowed per visit. The employees were all in there PPE and very professional handling their patients. So if you are reserved in going for your routine checkup or dental work appointment, you don’t have to be. Just follow the CDC guidelines and the rules of the office and you will be just fine. Phenomenal job Buckhead Family team!!!

I had requested for my XRays while checking out yesterday and called today. Both time it was promised that I will get them soon but I have not received them till now and when I am calling now, it is saying you are closed now.Please send the XRays on priority and try to stay with your words. I was really thinking of going with the treatment as suggested by you yesterday but the way my request is being handled, I am really unsure of the professionalism at your end.Now I will have to wait for 3 days to again call and request for XRays.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Paige and his staff. Ive been going here for 11 years. At first, I spent a small fortune to put implants where I had missing teeth, fixed the teeth I had left, and got my bad gums under control. I have a great smile now and have had very little additional work done other than routine cleanings for many years. Speaking of cleaning, I love the hygienist, Trina! Shes kept my smiling for years. Dr. Paige is very friendly and skilled and I recommend him highly!!

Ive been coming to Dr. Paiges office for nearly a decade now and always received great treatment from his team. I love my hygienist, Tariq, who is always timely, efficient, and very personable -- not to mention gentle with his cleanings! Ive seen both Dr. Paige and Dr. Howard for post-cleanings, a replacement filling, to have a chipped tooth repaired, and a night guard made -- all experiences great with no problems. Front staff is awesome. The only downer is pay parking deck and driving to Buckhead; however, I still make my way here despite having moved away from Buckhead condo living!

They treat you like family . Great staff you will have to go by and visit your self. They always do a tripple A job....

I went to this office for at least a decade. The treatment and technology available at this office is wonderful! Great staff and Dr. However, the cost of service seems over priced. I could never get away from these deep cleanings and I have not ever needed such a cleaning since I left this office. In addition, they did not fix my tooth after an issue caused by my last visit. I spent over $1400 for these deep cleanings annually. I didnt know better back then, now I do.

If I could leave no stars, I would! They tried to say I had 5 cavities and needed them all filled immediately. He numbed my entire mouth to fill them all at once (after I told him multiple times that I have TMJ - where my jaw locks up) and what do you know, my jaw locked up and wouldnt open. He referred me to a jaw surgeon and sent me on my way..... The following week I go to another dentist who informs me that I have ZERO cavities and that I need to get some sort of mouth guard for my TMJ. This dentist (at Dental1st) was very sweet and informative. I DO NOT recommend Buckhead Family Dentistry! I know it looks super nice online but it is not! They are not friendly, they are not professional and they will lie to make a little extra $$$$.

Friendly enough staff and doctors. Be aware they are also salesmen. Will always try and up sell everything regardless if needed or not. I havnt been here in a couple years but I am having to get a lot of the work that was done here redone, only two or three years later. Get a second opinion on any major work.

Dr. Paige and his team were great. I have nothing but great things to say about them. I was about to have my wisdom teeth pulled out, so I was getting ready for a painful experience. Instead, I had a pleasant time with no discomfort at all. They used a numbing medication and the treatment went by smoothly in one hour. I knew I had found my new dentist then. I cannot wait to go there again with my kids!

I came here for a second opinion, as a previous visit to another Buckhead dentist told me I needed a lot of work done on my teeth. However, that was not the case with Dr. Page. He and his staff took the time to listen to my concerns, give me advice and help me get the care I needed. I highly recommend this place! I will be going back for sure.

I have a patient for 4 years with Buckhead Family Dentistry. I had an implant put in my mouth 2 years ago. I started having problem last week with the implant coming loose in my mouth. I contacted Buckhead Family Dentistry about my emergency situation two times and no return call from the dentist. In addition, Buckhead Family Dentistry places me in collections for $59 and never even bothered to call me. Horrible experience and would not recommend.

Front Desk personnel is slightly unprofessional and could use phone etiquette training . I called to make an appointment and never received a follow up with a confirmed appt date . I gave them a second chance and received great customer service up until an hour before my appointment. The front desk receptionist placed me on a long hold twice. I received a call from the Dental Hygenist about being late.( I initially called the first two times to get the actual location of the office. ) The Dental Hygenist apologized and did not proceed to reschedule or provide any additional help. I wasn’t expecting this type of behavior for this area.

Great staff and customer attentiveness!

As a first time patient they try and gouge you with up selling. They tried to up sell both myself and my girlfriend for a 3 part intensive cleaning when we were there for routine cleanings. They also told both of us that all of our fillings were done wrong and needed to be redone by them. My girlfriend and I went to this place months a part and it was the same routine. When I received mail from my insurer it showed that the dental office charged me more than double the negotiated rate that my insurer had with them. Place is a racket.

I tend to gush when Im recommending anything, but Ill try not to do so here. Youre here for the facts. I have been going to Buckhead Family Dentistry for 5 years now. Before this office, Id never received dental care from an office that treated me as an individual with individual tooth/gum problems. So Dr. Paige (DDS) and Faye Nabipour (RDH) had their work cut out for them when I started coming here. They helped me with early-stage periodontitis, bruxism (grinding) so bad that my canine teeth are flat, and a couple of fillings. That was just to get me started off on the right foot. Since then, Dr. Paige has fixed a chipped front tooth (which now looks and feels perfect and natural) and has solved the mystery of three different teeth that became very sensitive at the same time, but for three completely different reasons! (In case youre curious, it was brushing too hard at the gum line of one tooth, sealant that needed to be replaced on another, and a mouthguard adjustment to fix the third.)Now that you know all about the problems Ive had fixed here, let me tell you about the staff. Dr. Paige is just a great dentist, across the board. Hes gentle and competent, so even the scary appointments like fillings are done quickly and with barely any discomfort. Hes also fun, friendly, and cracking jokes frequently. That always helps put me at ease. Dr. Candace Alexander Ive only seen once, but she has a fantastic bedside manner. Faye Nabipour has been my dental hygienist since I started coming here, and she always asks me how my daughter is doing. Its obvious she cares about her patients, not just because of the questions she asks, but also because she notices things. Before I had even seen Dr. Paige for the first time, she noticed my flat canine teeth while cleaning and asked if I used a mouthguard for the grinding. Id never used one, so she was instrumental in helping halt the deterioration of my teeth caused by my intense grinding. She also figured out that one of my sensitive teeth just needed a bit of the sealant replaced.Thats it for the dental team Ive seen. Now for the front office staff: WOW. They are equal parts professional and warm and friendly. They have always worked hard to help me schedule around obstacles, like when I cant get out of work before 4 or when I need multiple things done in one visit because I have limited childcare for that month, etc. You know how sometimes you run across a front desk worker whos having a bad day and gives curt answers or doesnt have time to answer your questions? That has never happened for me here. I know everyone has bad days, but its obvious that the staff at Buckhead Family Dentistry puts bad days on hold in order to care for their patients with competent compassion. Its really refreshing and comforting, which is not something I ever expected to say about a dentists office!

Ok, I lost the first one I tried to send so I am just going to say I am well pleased with him and his staff. They are very patient with senior citizens and he knows that I cannot stand pain. 8 years and still going.
