I’ve been going to Lakeland medical since I was nine years old and ever since 2018 when I started going to the doctor by myself I have had the absolute worst experience of my life. Dr. Boldwill is an incredible doctor and I respect her with the app most highest respect you can absolutely have for a doctor she is absolutely incredible and I believe anyone who is in search of a doctor should go to her. Unfortunately her head nurse Ashley is very rude and disgusting and is awful with patient care. She has told me before to not call the nurses line because “ she’s too busy and will not call me about a rash that does not matter” . She is not professional when she words things and she should 100% be demoted or fired from her position. My sister went to to Boldwill a couple of weeks ago and when she received a call to call them back Ashley worded her statement as “ you are fat, if it tastes good spit it out” this is no way to treat patients and she needs to be FIRED.

Love the doctor we had but very unprofessional FDA. She was so rude. Apparently my appointment that I had had for a year for my 2 year old daughter needed to be changed and all she could say was that they tried to call me but I have no missed calls from the office nor could I find any voice-mail regarding a change to the appointment time. I was treated so rudely as she never offered even a small apology and that I could just reschedule in about 3 weeks. Due to personal reasons I had to travel to Houston but really love Dr splinter so decided decided keep the doctor her at lakeland so I drove 4 hours for this appointment only to be treated like I had missed my reservation at a chilis.

Have been trying to get ahold of Alice Splinter for 3 days to talk about the issues Im having with my 7 month old son. I have yet to receive a call back.When I was pregnant with my son Dr. Cleaver was easy to get ahold of and helped me in EVERY way possible to make sure all questions were answered and helped me with my pregnancy issues.

Dr Alicia Cleaver is the most knowledgeable and caring Dr from here to Dallas. I’ve been her patient for quite sometime know with the exception of a 18 month break because I was placed on Hospice. After getting my weight back up to a safe amount of pounds I immediately started seeing her as my Dr again. If you are looking for a Dr who listens to you and also has some of the very best bed side manor if you end up hospitalized Dr Cleaver is the one.I just want to thank her for all the hard work she has done keeping me well both in person and behind the scenes , She truly is a good human being. God bless the good Dr Alicia Cleaver and keep her healthy so she can continue to serve the needs of the sick. She literally saved my life when I had pneumonia with incredibly high temperatures caused from a medicine myMultiple Sclerosis Dr prescribed me a 6 hour infusion which almost caused me to take a permanent dirt nap. Dr Cleaver admitted me to Hospital gave me all the right I.v antibiotics, checked on me daily even on the weekend and had imaging of my lungs taken that she would study until I got the clean bill of health saying the pneumonia was gone.

On June 8th 2021 I went in to Athens labor and deliver with decreased fetal movement I was 29 weeks. My obgyn (Dr. Zuniga) was called in to monitor me. After an hour of being monitored I was told I would be taken by careflite to medical city Dallas to have a specialist further monitor me. I got to medical city Dallas and within 30 minute of me being there I was rushed into an emergency c-section to get my baby out. Once she was out they immediately got an X-ray and got her intubated. The x ray showed my daughter had an undiagnosed congestion diaphragmatic hernia that had gone unnoticed throughout my pregnancy. Another thing that went unnoticed was my placenta that had began deteriorating. If I waited any longer my daughter would not have made it through the next few weeks.It has been almost 3 months and Dr. Zuniga has yet to call and see if everything is okay. Being my doctor and my daughters doctor I figured he would have called by now to get an update on us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR. ZUNIGA TO BE ANYONES DOCTOR ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE PREGNANT to many things with my pregnancy went unnoticed.In a professional stand point this is absolutely unexplainable. We have been in the nicu at medical city Dallas for 86 days and we have just been moved to the CICU so my daughter can get her 9th surgery done. We have no idea when we will be leaving to go home. Ever since I delivered it had been non stop with surgery and getting her better. But not once have I gotten a call/text/email or any form of communication with Dr.Zuniga.The first picture was the day she was delivered. And the second is today. She was born at 2lbs 10oz. Now she just broke 7lbs.Update : 9/23/21Zuniga called me. I refused to speak to him. Been waiting on a call from someone above him. Still no call.

I called back at the 1st of the year to make an appointment for my 79 year old mother to get a Covid vaccine. She just received her 2nd vaccination today. Thank you so much to Dr. Jennings and his staff for taking care of my Mom.

Always professional, yet caring and kind. Our health is their #1 priority. As health professionals ourselves, we feel we are in very capable hands, and trust our care with them completely.

Dr Swartwood is the best and his staff is outstanding!!

Nurse practitioner hill is super nice but they are way too busy. Individual patient care is not as important as the all mighty dollar. Like I said hill was great but swartzwood is a pompous jerk.

Dr Joshua Splinter and nursing staff are beyond expectations with a true caring heart, very informative of procedures and labs. Always putting patient first. Price and copay is afordable

Had vasectomy and was very nervous. The doctor assured me everything would be fine that there wouldnt be and real pain, he was absolutely right no pain with the procedure.He gave me specific instructions so that there would be no pain or swelling once I was home. Followed his instructions step by step and had no issues whatsoever. Very clean staff and facility

I can not recommend LMA enough. They have a HUGE team of amazing doctors. All of their doctors truly care about their patients. I use them for primary doctor, pediatrician, and OBGYN. I love that Im able to pick a doctor that works for us. The staff is always so kind! If youre looking for your primary doctor or OBGYN, definitely go here!

When I was pregnant I wanted a female doctor, and so I was assigned to Dr. Cleaver. Now, while I cannot speak for the rest of the staff at this hospital Dr. Cleaver and her nurses have always made going to medical appointments a pleasant experience for me, and now for my daughter. I would definitely recommend not only this establishment but her as well to anyone who needs an amazing doctor for their child or for themselves if they are pregnant.

I liked the doctor, Dr. Bruce Woodall , but frankly his nursing staff and the front office personnel don’t care if I live or die. It’s been over a week and I cannot get the results of my labs. And I was supposed to be scheduled for a nuclear stress test, and I can’t get any action on that.I have some serious health issues, the doctor seemed concerned, but that’s it !! no one else gives a darn.I can’t get one single person at that office to answer the phone, other than the operator. And no one returns my calls.

I might not be alive today except for the experience and quick thinking of Dr. Jennings. When an x-ray in Athens showed an enlarged heart, he sent me to Tyler UTMC for more extensive tests. I had barely walked through the door of my house when Dr. Jennings called and told me to pack some things that I was going to be admitted to Herman Memorial in Houston for treatment of an aortic aneurysm. He explained that the condition is like a time bomb and it can explode at any second. Here I am today (5/7/18), back home recovering from surgery and thankful that Dr. Jennings is my physician.

Everytime I have called, I have gotten great information, great service and always a call back if needed. We love our Athens Drs.

My kids see Dr.woodall an hes is absolutely amazing.... my 2.5yro is usually terrified an hides under the chair with new drs but he loved dr.woodall.. he didnt even wanna leave until dr.woodall was ready to go to the next patient... he tells u what hes doing step by step.... I HIGHLY recommend Dr.Woodall

Don’t bother showing up early or on time, for that matter. Took my daughter here to establish her as a new pt. She missed school for this. They never called us back and when I informed the receptionist that we were leaving she asked if we’d been seen. I told her no. She never looked to see what the hold up was, she didn’t give any apology and they wouldn’t give me a school excuse (I waited for that at the window for about 5 minutes and left when no one returned). We were patient, never made a fuss about the wait, I know it’s flu and cold season and they’re busy. The service, or lack of, was ridiculous. I had planned to make this our family doctor (all 7 of us well insured people) but I’ll be looking elsewhere.

I have been to 2 different doctors there. One botched a common procedure and left me in agony. When I raised my concerns about how much it hurt, my concerns were dismissed. I have had that same thing done several times before and NEVER had it hurt that bad that quickly.Went to a new doctor when the same thing flared up and referred me to a specialist. Took several weeks for the referral to come through but I dont blame them for that. Flared up again and asked for another referral. She refused, was less than 1 year later, I didnt need her to look at my toe, agree that I need to see a podiatrist, call in a referral and several weeks later get it taken care of. I tried to explain I am going on a backpacking trip in a month. I do not have time to get in to see her in a week or two, and then get into the specialist in a few more weeks. My trip will be over... She was not accommodating or understanding. Only wants $. Would be a total of 4 appointments (1 w jer, 1 w specialist, follow up w specialist and follow up w her). She isnt even doing anything!!!Go somewhere else. Even if you have to drive. Talking to others, I havent found anyone with this problem. Their docs always just call in the referral no questions.

We personally use Dr. Mettatal, and he is absolutely wonderful. The office has whats been accommodating, getting us in last minute for pregnancy issues and for illness. I love all the nurses Ive ever had and the office staff is always helpful and returns calls as soon as possible. I cant speak any higher of Dr. Mettatal, and when hes been out of the office we have seen two other drs and I liked them, too. This is a large office with many nurses, staff and doctors but Ive never had any issues with anyone in labs or Dr. Mettatals office.

I left this clinic a couple years ago because I was so mad at how they ran things, (we were seeing dr Curran) but then my daughters doctor (Dr Hobdy) moved to this clinic full time and not wanting to change doctors again, I decided to try this clinic once more. I had a HORRIBLE time scheduling and trying to be seen by Dr. Curran - I’d get hung up on, transferred and never could get a call back. Dr Hobdy is the opposite, I’m always able to schedule and her nurse will call back when you leave a message so I’m torn on this clinic - I would highly recommend Dr Hobdy but not Dr Curran.

I would not recommend anyone to be treated here, if that were an option. Dr. Woodall alone deserves 5 stars. The other staff are very snarky and rude, and they are even worse at the Gun Barrel City office. We drove an hour and a half for months to be treated by Dr. Woodall, our sons pediatrician since birth. The reception and billing staff are exceptionally under-educated and just horrible when it comes to patient empathy, service, and care. They lack the compassion enough to call if theres a delay or to provide a courtesy appointment-reminder call. A serious reevaluation needs to be occur here before they try to bring in new patients. My spouse and I will be obtaining my sons care elsewhere. its a shame that this is the major care in the area.

They don’t bother sticking with appointment times no point in making one the staff is slow and will lie about when your supposed to go in not pleased with the results will be making a formal complaint with head admin of doc office!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡
