Im new here and hadnt had a hair cut in two years (saving for a house)i walked in sat at around 145 not realizing they close at 2......they immediately ask me what I wanted I said I wash and cut and even though they had two people in front of me they still took me in and did my hair the lady was super friendly and super nice and did it very very very good job see picture below.my husband even says she really took good care of my hair...he loves it.

I walked in magic Scissors to get my sons hair cut. Emily welcomed him over for his cut. She did a really good job. During the time she was cutting his hair we got to talken about my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and that I wanted my hair healthy. I ask her if she thought she could do it she said yes. So she said when are you wanting to do this and I had said now if your available . With no hesitation she said she could do it right then I was so excited. After she was done I really loved my hair. She told me what products to use to make my hair healthy. Ms. Emily I will be back to see you soon for my trim thank you so much and my husband loved it

My Cosmetologist was Leslie and she was great and I am really happy with my hair cut.I have naturally curly hair.Not everyone knows how to cut curly hair and style it.

Brought my 4 year old daughter in for a trim. We walked in, and it was very busy. Leslie greeted us, and took my daughter back right away. She had a current client who was waiting for their color to finish processing, and she was able to tuck my daughters trim right into her open time. I am very thankful of that. She did a great job, and my picky daughter left very happy (her bangs were finally blended after she cut them herself ;)). I am glad I remembered to get her card as I will make all future appointments with her! Thank you!!

I love going in there for my haircuts and color and even just getting a blowout. They are super friendly and very fun to be around.

I took my granddaughter to get her hair cut and get highlights for her 16th birthday, it took a very long time but I think the hairstylists was just out of school but it was worth the wait she absolutely loved her hair and thats all that matters!

Went there today Janet added Keritan to my hair and fixed my hair. I love it. Only Salon I go to. Covid safe clean, everyone smiling, laughing such a needed relief with excellent service.

You shouldn’t even give them 1 star. They don’t know how to cut hair none of them they made a mistake to my sons hair and I came back so they could fix it and they tried fixing it and they still didn’t do well

Got my hair done a few weeks ago and they turned my mess into something pretty.. I had Brandi and she did an amazing job, will be back for future hair appointments. I also had my eyebrows waxed by Tina and she did a great job as well

Hours posted states Monday and Thursday open till 8 pm. Lady told me to come by another day because they were closed and its only 6:20pm. She can cut her nephews hair but cant cut mine, a paying customer? I was a regular but I guess Ill be finding another location that actually honers its POSTED hours!

This place is AMAZING! I dont trust anyone else to do my hair. I will recommend them to everyone. They are so nice and they do what they can to give their customers what they want.

The ladies here are amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable about hair. I love my new do and I was definitely be going back when it needs a trim. The prices are reasonable and they really know what theyre doing. Highly recommend!

I love this place.The owner is super friendly and kind. My stylist is Emileigh Swafford.I searched for years trying to find a stylist who could do my hair the way I wanted it.She is amazing.She takes pride in her work and aims to please her customers. If you are searching for a good stylist I highly recommend her.Plus there are many other great stylists in this shop.

Pretty nice place I got my perm done there. If youre looking quality wise on presentation of the salon then you probably wont like it. Other than that its amazing. The ladies are very friendly.

The staff at Magic Scissors are all very pleasant, but I always see Tracy. Shes an amazing stylist. She always puts 100% into a haircut and she stays up to date with current trends.

Love the service it doesnt matter who cuts your hair everyone is very skilled at there profession. And very fast. The only thing that would be better is if they had 1or 2 people that came in at 7 or 8am that way people that work 3rd shift can get a haircut on their way home ,expecially those of us that work 7days a week and cant come on the weekends either.but besides that best place in town .

I came to town because of a family emergency. My twin girls and I needed a hair cut bad and I thought it would be nice to get my mom a hair cut too. They took all 4 of us in with no appointment and did a fantastic job! My parents had just moved to Athens in October and my mom hadnt found a good place to get a haircut until today. She loves her haircut and so do the rest of us! 👍👍
