The staff aren’t just courteous they make you feel like you are their one and only patient. The smiles and office laughter are infectious. I look forward to my annual exam, knowing I am going to experience my yearly dose of joy!! ( I know all of this from an eye doctor appointment? What a deal!!!)

I don’t understand the negative reviews, I’ve never had anything but good experiences at both Seaside and Astoria. The doctors are nice, staff is friendly and efficient and there’s a decent choice of frames. I recommend them to friends and family.

Worst experience ever. Had to struggle to get additional samples to get my prescription correct. Once I did I called several times to make sure my eyeglass prescription was correct. Ordered glasses only to find out that prescription was wrong as well. Used up my yearly insurance for eye exam and out 100+ dollars on glasses. Use ANY OTHER optometrist if you value your eyesight, time and money.

Im new to Oregon AND Astoria, moved from a large city. I had no idea where to go for my eye care. How fortunate that when I googled optometrists that Coastal Eye Care popped up. I looked at the website including the reviews, and was very impressed. My experience there was first rate the second I walked through the door. I was greeted warmly by the staff, all their smiling caring faces. Such competency and professionalism as well! The eye doctor that performed my exam was amazing! Ive had MANY eye exams, but none compare. He was funny, put me at ease. Very knowledgeable. Top rate equipment, which made my exam so efficient and cut the usual time it takes for an exam in half at least! I absolutely loved every second I was there, which says a lot! I ordered glasses as well, the staff assisted me in such a warm manner with helpful tips on style, etc. I felt like part of a family. Thats what Coastal Eye Care was to me. A warm friendly family, which I was fortunate to be a part of. Thank you Coastal Eye Care!

For an eye doctors office, Coastal Eye Care makes every visit personal and friendly! The ladies who run the front desk even recognize me every time I come in (after months) and ask how school is going. All staff in general are welcoming and pleasant, and I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen by a nurse or a doctor. The prices for visits and products are also very accommodating with my insurance. I look forward to *seeing* the staff at Coastal Eye Care every six months!

I’ve been with the same optimists’ office in Portland for over 15 years. So when I moved to Seaside, I was nervous about finding a new doctor. The staff at Coastal Eye Care is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Their selection of eyeglasses is smaller than my previous “big city” optician but they have the latest styles at affordable prices.I’m glad I went there.

Coastal Eye does a great job! Always greeted by cheerful front desk people and always on time! A clean, warm, and comforting environment! We have moved away from Astoria but still come back to Coastal for our vision appointments.

Doctor is very thorough and super friendly along with the rest of the staff. It’s always been easy to deal with this office. For a couple years my insurance changed and I was forced to leave this I care. I am so glad my insurance changed because I went back.

The staff is great! I didn’t have vision insurance when I started coming in for exams. The staff helped with affording the exams and glasses so I could keep going to work when I was Mr Magoo without glasses. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I have been taking my daughter to coastal eye care since she started having trouble seeing the writing on the school white board several years ago. She goes every year to get her adjustment. A couple years ago she was measured for contacts and learned how to use those daily and glasses when needed also.. we have been very happy over the years with the quality of the glasses and friendly staff and patient doctors!! I think I need to go soon as my vision for things close up is getting worse!! I will be a patient too!!

My doctor was great but that has been the only good thing about my experience with this place. Coastal Eye Care has been my eye doctor since Dr. Williams passed away so a pretty long time to remain a customer of a business. The secretary staff was horrible and they are the reason I am switching where I go for eye care. Ive been wearing glasses since 2nd grade so good, professional eye care is very important to me. As I said, i was taken care of amazingly and professionally in the exam rooms by the clinicians always. A big part of contact with a doctors office, at least for me, is respect and comfort. I got the complete opposite from the women at the desk. Talked down to when it came to anything to do with money for absolutely no reason. Getting comments like well this costs $15 or there is a $25 dollar fee in the snarkiest most degrading of tones. I am very unhappy with how I was treated. I felt like if I didnt show up in stilettos with a business card I was not going to be treated with respect. So I will take my early morning, sweat pants wearing, only day off this week arriving self anywhere other than here.

Amazing staff every time I come in. Dr. Bruce did an epic job with a kiddo who can be very challenging.Watched the staff tofsy deal with a very combative client who demanded things which were illigeal. Although she was rude and yelling they remained calm and curtious the whole time and did their best to de-escalate and actually helped her as they could. This is my 6th time in including with different kiddos and I cant say enough great things about the entire staff.From setting appointments to fitting for glasses and exams just all around great people.

Coastal Eye Care staff were very helpful when I had to buy my first set of prescription glasses. Ill be sure to head back there as my eyes get older!

Super friendly staff my appt was on time and optometrist was professional and easy going and took the time to explain my options for switching to bifocals. Good selection of frames at reasonable prices too.
