I earlier wrote a 1 star review but after a few months of communicating with Shawnee optical resolved/understood what the misunderstanding was. I think the quality of my exam and contact training was spot on and I thank you for that. I have been happy with my contacts and my glasses. I wish I would have asked more question on the two for one promotion.

I arrived 5 minutes late for my appointment and I was told that they could not see me and I would have to reschedule. They said they left a message saying I needed to arrive early to fill out paperwork, but unfortunately I did not receive the message. I was frustrated because I had waited about 4 months for the appointment and had taken a day off of work. My suggestion would be to tell people that they need to arrive early when making the appointment so that this does not happen to them. I just feel that people run a little late because of traffic or other reasons and they should not be turned away.

I went in for first time contacts and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The lady who helped me put my contacts in made me feel so comfortable and it was a great experience overall. Will definitely recommend to anyone in town!

Went there 2 weeks ago for my eyes, got my glasses the other day. outstanding staff, very professional in their line of duty. follow all the corona regulations. I recommend to everyone. Love everyone there!!

Eye exam was great Ms. Locy-Fowler did a great job. Unfortunately, getting glasses after the exam is like dealing on a used car lot now. It wasnt that way in my past visits. If this hasnt changed when I visit next I will take my prescription elsewhere.

Visiting Shawnee is always a good experience. The staff is friendly, patient. and helpful. They take the time to xxplain everything. Dr. Locy is outstanding. She is very patient, willing to listen, and does an excellent job explaining what she is doing and why. I would definitely recommend Shawnee to everyone. I have been to many eye doctors in other cities as well and this Shawnee Optical is one of the best.

Very professional and courteous service. I had a great experience getting my eyes examined and ordering my glasses and contacts.

Made an appointment two months ahead of time, confirmed with them that they accept my insurance they insured me they did. I got there 10 mins early for my appointment they had me wait ten mins then approached me very rudely saying they don’t accept my insurance, when I asked to call my insurance because I know it’s accepted there they said it was passed my appointment time and practically dismissed me. Very disappointed in this practice, will not return.

Loved my doctor, Dr. Locy, she is lovely. It’s unfortunate that the woman that they have chosen for reception at their office, (I believe her name is Hailey?) Lacks customer service. She is rude, and is the reason why my family and I will not be returning.

Excluding having to wear a mask every where I go the actual appt and getting my glasses was good

My frames were bent and they were able to straightened them.

I have been to Shawnee Optical in the past , very friendly staff ., just made my appointment and sad to hear they dont accept my insurance . Still going with them though . Hoping Caresource Marketplace will be added to your accepting insurances .

Went there this morning unfortunately I was about 5 minutes late. Lady tells me she normally only gives about 7 minutes of being late before having to reschedule. I work in a customer service based field. Change glass with an hour time slot in between jobs. People are late all the time but we do not shoo them away or not do there job. Completely unacceptable get some better business ethics.

They really care about you and staff is great. Dr Devivo is amazing and cares about you as a person and not dollar signs. Really just wants to take care of you and help you in life. Amazing

Called to get in for eye infection on October 15th. Earliest appointment October 25. You can tell Dr.Devivo is no longer there.

I love Shawnee Optical

The people there are great, but dont order contacts through them, they say it will be three or four days to get in, but i have been waiting weeks.

I have seen Dr. Devivo for over 20 years and love him.
