Dr Mak is very professional. Very through. Extremely knowledgeable. I have complex issues with my elderly eyes and I trust him completely. Happy to recommend him to anyone.

They got my prescription wrong twice, optical is never there (two days a week maybe 5 hours combined) I’ve gone back 4 times in two months and I was told I should have come back sooner because they only have 30 days to do anything with my glasses uhm I did and you weren’t there but the doctor redid my prescription and got it wrong again. The last time I went in I told them to put my old prescription (my current one that’s in my current glasses) in these ones in. I get them back one lenses looks like it’s way too big and my eyes are the same. I asked for the prescription so I can go elsewhere and they said they couldn’t give it to me because they took it from the glasses, I could have called my old doctor and got it for them. Although the front desk was nice dr. Mak question my ability to see through the scrips he gave me and the optical lady was rude and she’s never there. Don’t waste your time, I wasted two plus months dealing with them.

I had a cateract removed almost 2 years ago and instead of my vision improving, it got worse each day. I went back right after the surgery and also for each follow up and nothing was improving. Finally after a couple weeks I was sent to a specialist because Dr. Mac knew at that point I had a detached retina. But it was too late because a detached retina needs surgery immediately! I think he should have seen this right away not two weeks later. So I definitely would not recommend him. I now only have vision in one eye and believe me, its made life difficult..
