My parents Marvin and Laura resided at Crossroads for 5 years. Dad passed on July 1, 2020. As they had been married for 73 years, the lose took a big toll on our Mom. She has now come to live with us, however the years they resided there were great years. All the staff were sure they were taken care of just like family. My brother, sister and I could not have picked a better place. I highly recommend CRRC❤️❤️Thanks again to all staff, we love you!!!!!

Our family’s experience at CrossRoad Assisted Living has been nothing short of amazing! The staff goes above and beyond the norm, giving my mom the loving care and attention that we trust and appreciate. Their facility is spotless and the meals are delicious. Activities are many and varied. Administration and ancillary services personnel are available and like an extended family. This is a top-notch facility!

My mother lived there for a short while and it was a great place for her. My granddaughter was an employee there while she was in college and for her it was a wonderful experience. She spoke very highly of all the staff and often commented on the little things they did to show appreciation for the staff. She didnt have to worry about finding another position for the summer or the holidays. She simply called early and she would have her position. Today she is an RN and I dont think she would be the caring nurse she is without the help of Cross Road Retirement Community!

My Grandmother and Great Aunt have both lived here and I have worked here for right at 14 years. I wouldnt want my parents or grandparents to live anywhere else if they couldnt live at home. Our goal is to keep our residents healthy and happy during their stay at Cross Road Retirement Community.

Cross Road Retirement Community received the Triad Top Workplace for 2 consecutive years, it has been awarded the SHARP (Safety and health Recognition Program) for the past two years, we have been awarded the Gold Award from the Randolph area Chamber of Commerce, in addition to receiving the Favorite Assisted Living Community for many years. We offer PCA training at no cost to qualified staff that is not CNA certified. All medicines are passed by state certified Med Techs. In addition, our staff is all background checked, finger printed and drug tested. With all of this being said, it is a great place to work and you should feel safe knowing that our staff will offer the best care to your loved one.

This facility has a habit of being short staffed and highly unprofessional behaviors. WHen I worked there they would continually hire non certified nurse aides for the 6 month period where the nurse aide is supposed to get verified, fire them, then rehire them later, still without certification. I worked there for a limited amount of time and had to leave without notice due to a family emergency. Now that I need to have my employment verified they are refusing, although the are required to fill it out.I read to the RN and the manager verbatim that the renewal form states:Attention Nursing Facility Employers: A renewal application (form DHSR4205-SR), presented to the facility by a nurse aide should be considered a request from the Department for verification of past or present employment. Failure to comply with rule 10A NCAC 13D .2304 may result in licensing action against the facility.Be careful current and future employees, if they do not like you, they will refuse to verify you.Be careful clients and client families, if they treat their staff this poorly, where else does this lack of professionalism filtrate down to? Your family or loved ones.I think that it is sad they cannot show basic professional courtesy to a former employee who took excellent care of their patients.I am now an LPN and need to keep up my CNA I and II and may not be able to because of poor professional behaviors denoted by their refusal. I will be taking further action.

I wouldnt work under Ms Auge shes a very rude woman! I kept receiving emails about a job position and when I went in for an interview theyll give you the run around. Not organized and Ms Auge isnt friendly at all! A women with that kind of attitude I wouldnt recommend anyone to work under her. I see now why theyre always hiring for a laundry aide or housekeeper.
