Our daughter fell on concrete and had a laceration on her knee. They told us we would have to pay up front the cost of helping her completely which ranged from $240-$300+. Our insurance (BCBSNC) wasn’t approved there so they said if you can’t pay up front you’ll have to take her to the ER for stitches. I’m over here like the hospitals are overflowing with covid patients and no nurses to cover their patients already and you can put one stitch on my daughter without me paying up front the whole bill Amount. Disgusting human care ever ! No urgent care here more like no urgency to care 😒

I went there on 10/18/21 And I just want to say how amazing everyone was. The nurses was so nice and the doctor is a rockstar he took the time to listen to me and he found the problem. I wished ALL doctors would do this more. Thank you so much!!! David Trent

The physician Laura was very kinda and actually took the time to inform me more about medication. I will definitely come back. Not a long wait either . 100% great costumer service.

My husband went in this morning with suspected broken rib. Xray said not. Dr was very concerned about blood clot and sent us to Randolph Hospital with a note suggesting tests to run. We were in and out in no time and couldnt be more pleased with entire staff.

The PA I saw actually told me to do something that would have caused severe pressure sores on my leg! No clue how to deal with an amputee. Also, was seen there over a week ago & still havent been notified about my x-ray results. I know the results, but that office never contacted me.

Joy, the woman at the front desk, is so rude it’s actually astounding. I don’t really understand what happened to her or why she needs to take out her sadness on everyone else, but I gashed my foot open during my time of the month and raced here, forgetting my feminine care products at home. This woman had the nerve to say an urgent care medical facility with primarily female employees didn’t have feminine care products. In what universe? So a nurse walked past and I asked if they had any, she said “of course!” And got me a pad immediately. Get joy out of your window. She’s a hot mess. I told her “guess I’ll just bleed all over the seat” she said “guess so” good lord woman.

We’ve been several times in the past few months and they have been wonderful!! Dr. Blanchard and Laura Snead have went above and beyond.

The doctor was awesome. Please beware of the nurse. She jabbed me to draw a lab today. I knew it was too hard but still was shocked when I removed my bandage. She didnt get a second chance at that lab.

Receptionist is extremely rude I don’t understand why we can’t wait in the car especially during a pandemic I believe my son has strep throat there’s no harm waiting in the car and one phone call they can call me to tell me to come in just like any other walk ins but she had to be rude and tell me they can’t do that it’s not that they can’t she just don’t want to. People like that makes this place a joke.

No problems with the doctors and nurses, but the receptionist is so rude. She was rude at check in and three out of the four times I called with questions about something. Seems to be a common review on here and like something should have been done about it by now. I would never want anyone to lose their job, but my goodness, just be nice! And maybe give a smile once in a while! And not talk to the patients like they’re idiots!

They turned my 7 year old away from being seen even though her pediatrician sent us there. We have her medicaid card in hand. Well because medicaid changed up and now she has a specific insurance thru medicaid we had to have that card. I didnt have it. I told the lady that my husband would run and get it and have it back before we were probably even finished and they still turned her away. Never will I go there again.

Receptionist is rude, the doctors rush people out without examining them the way they should . I have never experienced such a mess.

The older lady with brown hair who is a receptionist and was at the check out counter before you leave was so rude she actually made me cry. Staring blankly or just completely ignoring someone when they’re speaking is so unprofessional. And then to try and speak under your breath at me? Grow up. I didn’t go to urgent care by choice, I have a family doctor who treats me like gold. This is where I have to go because it’s where my job sent me for a job related injury. I know the staff is busier than ever with COVID but I’m also in the medical field, I’m also tired and overworked but I maintain professionalism with all my patients and treat them all with kindness. If I ever tried to talk to people like she spoke to me today, I’d be in my supervisors office in a heartbeat. We are all tired girl, not just you. Learn to have a little bit of kindness in your heart towards people who are sick and injured. Maybe that’s why she’s office staff and not a medical professional. You don’t get far with an attitude like that. I hope something good happens in your life soon so you won’t be so bitter towards a complete stranger who was nothing but respectful with you.

I can’t rave enough about this Urgent Care. As a teacher, anytime we have an exposure I have to get tested for COVID, as a precaution. Every time I come the nurses are beyond friendly and helpful. The doctors are thorough and actually found a more chronic issue I didn’t know I had. My five month old son got sick, and the staff were amazing because there is nothing fun about RSV testing an infant. I also lost my phone while I was there and the staff stopped to help me find it, using their personal phones to help me call it. Like I said, I can’t say enough good things. Everyone on staff is incredibly kind and helpful. No one wants to go to urgent care for being sick, but this place makes an unpleasant time just a little better.

If I could I would rate it a zero. It was a horrible experience. I got yelled and hung up on by the rude receptionist. They also gave me back someone else’s ID. I fortunately knew the owner of the ID I was able to return it to them. I asked to talk to the supervisor and but was told she was not in.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Waited around an hour for COVID test after initially being told it would be around 30-40 minutes until I would be tested. After inquiring about how much longer it would be I was told 2-3 people in front of me and could be another 30 minutes until tested. Here is the really bad part though. The entire time I was there I watched the office door from my car and they tested just 1 other person. They did come out a second time looking for a patient that they couldnt find. There was probably at least 10 other vehicles with people waiting to be tested. At this rate it would have taken 3-4 hours to be tested.

Doctor was helpful, but the woman at front desk was terribly rude, not wearing a mask, and neither was her coworker in the small lobby’s receptionist area. What’s more, when I later called to follow up on my severe stomach problem, the woman (girl) who answered the phone was as rude and sarcastic as she could be. Seriously, if you don’t want a job, you should quit it. You’re dealing with people’s health. If at possible, avoid this place.

Leaving one star. Would leave less if possible. Been here more than once in the past but only when I absolutely had to. Receptionist is always rude and short with you. Will cut you off when you’re speaking. Same lady for years and she’s the same empty person every visit. Gotta give it to her though, at least she’s consistent. Dr. Brown seems to be the only doctor who knows what he’s talking about. They are quick to diagnose you without testing, or even when they do and it’s negative they say it’s probably what they tested for anyways just because they want you in and out. Not to mention, please take note that whatever time they say they close, you better be sure you’re there 20 to 30 minutes before that time. My husband and I got there this evening (on a Saturday) when they were supposed to be closing at 6. We were turned away at 5:42 because they said they closed at 5:40... this is no way to run a business. Currently on our way to Moses Cone Urgent Care which closes at 8. I called them to be sure of when they “stopped accepting patients”. The lady I spoke with said they close at 8 and stop accepting patients at 8. Isn’t that how business hours are supposed to work??

I was done with my visit within the hour. And thats with x-rays. The Dr. Was pleasant and knowledgeable. They seemed to be training a new receptionist (based on the past reviews is a good thing). It was my first time there and i have no complaints.

This is long, but very important! They put my health in serious risk!! I went to White Oak for the first time yesterday. As stated in previous reviews, the receptionist was extremely rude. When the doctor finally came to see me, I told him all of my symptoms (coughing, 100+ fever, and achy all over) He listened to my lungs and told me that they sounded clear and that my flu test was negative. He continued on to tell me that he thought I had URI and that he was going to give me a shot and “we will see what happens.” He also told me to come back in a few weeks if nothing changed.After 24 hours, my fever spiked to 102 and my coughing and aches were worse. I decided to go to another health care provider. They diagnosed me with pneumonia and said that if I would have continued to go untreated, I would have been in the hospital by next week!White Oak really put my health in serious danger! I will not be returning and I recommend that you don’t either!

How many times can your receptionist be complained on before you do anything about it? I had the exact experience with her as many people did. She didnt acknowledge that my husband had been standing in front of her for several minutes. Shes was more concerned with bantering with coworkers than caring for patients. She was so rude when my husband said he had just been in a workplace accident. I understand business matters need to be taken care of but be a professional and show some empathy, especially with time sensitive injuries.

Medical office located off NC HWY 42 and US HWY 64. The location can be difficult to access and depart during peak hours due to local traffic and roads. Plan accordingly before you arrive. Medical appointments and work.drug screenings are conducted here. As with any medical office patience is of virtue. Be safe. Enjoy!

Honestly if I could give no stars I would. My son who was running a fever all night and complaining of body aches and was denied a visit today from this establishment due to the fact that I didnt have his insurance card! I just took him there back in November they have that information on file!!! That last time I took him the Doctor was extremely rude and my child threw up on me and no one even offered to help me. I understand that its gross but me your paying client is standing here covered in vomit and cleaning it off the floor. I will never take my child here again!!

Wish I didnt have to give one star but the nurse was nice. The Dr and staff was so rude and stood out in hallway and trash talked their paitents. They broke all hippa laws like it was nothing. Dr made it known she didnt appreciate people coming in so close to closing and she was ready to go home. I came in at 7:15 and they close at 8. I left with FOUR prescriptions a shot in hip and NO diagnosis. I will NEVER spend another dime at this rude disrespectful place! I dont understand with all the complaints about this place why they dont clean house and start over with staff who actually care about people.

Ive been here several times over the years and they always fix me up and send me on my way. Ive met Dr. Brown and Dr. Lee and theyre fantastic doctors. The nurses are nice and the prices are more than reasonable. What more could you ask for?

I feel mixed about this place. Went yesterday with a family member who had a broken fibula, and was able to get a focused exam, x-rays, foot wrapped, and then back in for a temporary cast all in the same day for a total of $38; thats without insurance.So if you are poor, or just want the least expensive option in health care, Id say this is a good place for that.The secretary we had was actually pleasant and courteous. The assistant we saw demanded my family member step up with a broken foot onto the exam table instead of sitting in the chair to get a blood pressure. She had no badge or identification so not sure what her job title or role was. x-rays were taken, and despite reporting that we heard a crunching sound, The nurse practitioner said there was no fracture and to treat with alternating ice and hot every 10 minutes. They gave her an ace bandage and no pain medications. Her pain with the broken bone was 7 out of 10.We got home, and they called us back and said someone else had read the x-ray and there was in fact a fracture. So we had to drive back for a temporary cast until we can follow up with an orthopedic doctor.When we got back I was helping my family member walk, as she had a broken bone and it was very painful to walk on, I was helping to support her weight and the staff was rude about that. They said to get out of thier way so they can show us what room to go in. I guess we were moving too slow. When we got to the room they did not want to remove the ace bandage they had placed, and told my family member she had to do it herself, which was tricky sitting on the exam table and trying to balance while being in so much pain. I helped despite them not wanting me to help her. Overall I think they get away with treating people poorly because mostly poor people come here with no other options. I work as both a nurse and a paramedic, and I thought the care was very substandard.If you have something incredibly simple that they most likely cant screw up, and are ok with being treated poorly and like dirt, then then this is the place for you. I wouldnt recommend anyone go here again with a possible fracture. They arent capable of recognizing that.

The staff was so helpful and Dr. Brown was able to diagnose me quickly and get me the right medication. After suffering for five days, I was so happy at how quickly they worked! Everyone was very nice and very educated on how best to help! I was in and out with medicine in hand from the urgent care pharmacy next door in an hour and a half!

(Review by Jean Mabe) I went to White Oak Urgent Care for an allergic reaction recently & saw Dr. Lee who was excellent. There was very minimal wait time and all the staff were great from the front desk to the nursing staff. We received a call the following day to see how I was doing. We have seen other Doctors in the group and have always been pleased with the care.

Been there several times over the years always helpful. Love Sabrina, always caring and informative. Receptionist not always friendly as she could be but you never know what personal issues someone is having, so I just look over it.

The front desk staff are very rude and dont enjoy their job. They arent friendly at all and are very sarcastic. On the other hand the doctors and nurses are very helpful. It takes a team to provide good customer service so I will not be returning to this urgent care.

The doctors and nurses are nice and helpful, but the older lady that checks you in always has an attitude and is never friendly!! I normally try to avoid even going if I can. Sometimes sitting at the hospital for hours is better than dealing with someone that acts as though you have ruined her day by being sick!

The secretary Amy was nice and very professional. Answered all my questions with ease .

They saw us get out of the car, with lots of blood on my son because of a large scalp wound. He was ushered back immediately. The staff and Dr Brown were really excellent and did a great job.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star. Honestly worse than any place Ive been. They skipped over us 5 times. I went to the front window to ask about it, after at least 10 mins. I had to call on my phone to get help from inside their office. Not impressed by anything. The staff wasnt friendly.

Dr brown is excellent and a top notch Dr. the other staff isnt very polite but not overly rude, just doing their job as if people are just objects in their way. They need to do some customer service training with everyone except maybe Dr Brown.

Okay haven’t been here in for a while but Doctor that saw me needs to really follow up on patients records I got to White Oak Clinic. This guy did the basics. If I wanted over the counter meds then I would have gotten them He just didn’t listen to me it seems. As for the Nurse please chewing her gum like a cow so unprofessional.

Would not go here even if I was dying!

We took my 13 month old niece here over the weekend. The nurse and doctor were extremely rude to say the least. They seemed upset because my niece was crying. If I am paying my bill which is helping to keep you in business I expect at least some common professionalism out of the staff. Treated better at the hospital!!

We saw the MD Robert Brown today, probably our best experience yet. My 6 year old was so afraid of going to the doctor; scared to death and once we got there we were taken straight back without waiting 5 mins the dr came in and made my sons experience so much better! (Even though he had strep) He was extremely friendly and made him feel as if he wasn’t even at the dr. I knew I had to write a review today, because it’s so wonderful to meet nice & friendly doctors. Thank you Dr. Brown for being not only professional but also very nice as well. We will be returning next time when needed!

My husband went in there earlier today to be seen for a sinus infection. The lady at the desk was very rude. We were notified of a past due bill tha insurance was supposed to cover, and when they were advised to refile it- guess what they flat out refused!! Ive never heard of such a thing. Really? You have the bill there, you have all the insurance information yet you are too lazy and too sorry to refile the bill knowing that insurance should have covered it to start with. I think its time for us to find somewhere else to go when the regular doctor is closed and we need to be seen. It costs you like $800 to be seen at the local ER just for a simple thing. Thanks for nothing Urgent Care. You Suck!!!!!!!!!

Since moving to Franklinville in 2011 I have had several mishaps and sudden illnesss which didnt need the ER but couldnt get to a regular doctor for. White Oak in Asheboro is fantastic! I have never waited more than 30 mins to be taken back to an exam room and always treated with concern and respect. The Doctors are well educated and totally invested in helping you with your immediate issue. Prices are great too.

TV in lobby is too loud. The room is full of people that dont feel good and a blaring tv is not soothing. Its just plain irritating. I asked the receptionist if it could be turned down. She said she had no way to help me. WOW!!!

Ive had to take my daughter here twice and each time I have had great service we love Dr brown well I do my daughter dislikes all doctors bit every one is nice Ive never had to sit and wait over five minutes in waiting room and it was even quicker for the Dr to come in

There is not urgent about this place, other than the name. After wait, 40 minutes, get to the back, nurses and doctors sitting in back having good old time. Unprofessional.

I went to urgent care a week ago in pain very bad pain because of a condition I have and didnt get any help from a rude doctor which precribe me medication that i said would make me sick but went back and meet DR Kelly she was so helpful and finally sombody took time and gave me the medication that would go together that would help me and I feel much better now I headed in the right direction finally thanks

I havent gone yet, but I called and asked what time they were open to. The woman the that answered the phone saId in a why are you talking to me tone....just regular hours. I wouldnt worry about going, but I have no choice. Wanted to reach through the phone and smack her.

Went there today. I was in and out in an hour around 11am (having never been there before, getting a test done, and seeing a doctor). This is a great, speedy place with caring staff.

Today was the 1st time I had been to the Asheboro location after being referred by my cousin and 2 coworkers (all females)due to a finger injury due to being a hairstylist. The oldwr silver haired lady at the admission desk was very pleasant, personable, and caring even though the time was around 6pm. Thr wait was under an hour and Keiel(sp) was pleasant and funny as she took my vitals. Then my nurse practitioner was Sabrina who I love dearly. She has helped my family on a previous date in Randolph ER. The little old white biddies that comprise office staff are even more inane, ineffectual, and unctuous than the usual miserable robots that inhabit that sad role. They will waste your time, and patience all while smiling that disingenuous smile only a bitter sad soul can muster. This particular breed of doc in the box is even less competent than the rest of their ilk. When I was first seen and explained my problem, the doctor kept excusing himself. I can only suppose it was to Wikipedia a particularly large word I used.

Some nursing staff dont really see you as a person but rather a number. CMA, Sarah Is Awesome though!

This is literally the worst doctors office Ive ever been to! I wouldnt send my dog to this place. I missed 3 days of work waiting on test result that they didnt even perform. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Dont anticipate getting a call back either.

I took my hubby here back in september to have a ingrown toe nail looked at well he seen dr. bradley and she decided to remove it so she takes him to the room where they do stuff like that and she numbs his toe then she leaves the room for right at 30 minutes and when she returns she brings in a student without even asking us about it first. well by the time she sat down to remove the ingrown toe nail his toe was un numb well she sat down and started yanking and pulling and digging the ingrown toe nail out and he told her that his toe was not numb anymore but she wouldnt listen to him well now is toe is worse now than when we went there to have it removed bottom line Dr. bradley clearly doesnt know what she is doing and screwed up my hubbys toe. well i called the other day and told them about it and the lady told me to call yesterday and speak with the manager well i called and guess what the manager wasnt there bc she decided to take more time off. bottom line this place is horrible and if your looking for a good Dr then look up Dr. sistasis in asheboro. there are better than this Crazy Place. I wouldnt dare refer any one to this place thats how horrible it is... They will screw you up in a heart beat and leave you hanging!

They advertise they are open til 6:00pm, but at 5:45 we were turned away and told to come back the next morning. It’s obvious they were URGENTly trying to get home and do not CARE about health care.

Worst response to honest pain and need for relief..Rip off on charges..

Sick for 9 days and went to the Urgent Care after seeing my primary doctor a week ago. In and out in a half hour. Saw Dr Olshinski who knew right away what the issue was. All in all, my trip took an hour including the pharmacy and return home. Cant ask for much more on a weekend afternoon.

Nurses and doctors are very knowledgeable and kind!

Waited forever in my room and when the doctor finally came around she acted as though my concerns were silly. Printed a paper about what could possibly be wrong but did not care to explain anything to me. Had to stop her as she was walking out after handing me the papers to ask her a question which she answered with a laugh and walked away even though I clearly had more concerns. Since when has it become a policy to print out a diagnosis off of Google and leave a patient? There was clearly no desire to help anyone who walked through the doors of this facility.

Front desk lady was rude, no customer service what so ever. couldnt answer a simple question of waiting time, gave me a sarcastic response to my question.

Called about scheduling an appointment for a pre employment drug screen, the lady who answered the phone was very rude, I said yes maam and no maam. Said she didnt have all day

Overall good doctors office

We are currently waiting in the room for a sports physical and are at 1.5 hours so far. I will be looking for another doctors office for our next visit. Things dont seem too urgent here. ....(edit)..now at two hours.

Horriable came for a drug screen and had to use the restroom when I arrived waited almost 2 hours to be seen and couldnt use the restroom until then......

Multiple visits..the staff is awful! Especially front desk and medical assistants.
