Dr. Beth has been my doctor for over 20 years. I am happy with her and her entire staff. Dr. Beth always takes good care of me. I trust her and admire her kindness and thoughtfulness. I recommend Hodges Family Practice.

Im not one to destroy the reputation of anyone but I feel it necessary to inform others in an effort to protect them from substandard care. I came to Dr. Beth Hodges after removing 5 ticks and was very ill. She was adamant that tick borne illnesses do not exist south of Maryland. I believed her because I didnt know any better. She sent me to multiple specialists to no avail. I was losing my ability to walk and the pain was unbearable. I finally came to my senses, left Hodges Family Practice and found competent care where I tested positive for Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Bartonella. I was told by my current doctor that I could have avoided this disease with one prescription of antibiotics had it been caught early and what Dr. Beth Hodges did was criminal, her words not mine. Since the Lyme bacteria found its way into my central nervous system, which could have been avoided with early antibiotics, I am now (2 yrs later) suffering with neurological disorders. Dr. Hodges may be a great doctor but she is uneducated about tick borne illnesses and has caused extreme and unnecessary suffering.

Ive been going to Dr. Hodges for years since I was a kid, but never for anything serious. Always just simple physicals and checkups. Im one of the lucky ones who rarely gets sick. Though I have always had minor lower back pain on and off throughout my life ( I am 22 now). About a month ago, I bent over and pinched my sciatic nerve. I went straight to urgent care where they gave me medicine for the pain, said the nerve wasnt pinched anymore but I should check with my physician to see the cause. When i went to Hodges office I was told that because now my nerve pain wasnt in my lower back anymore, but throughout my entire leg, that I didnt have sciatica (again, not the reason for the visit) because people with sciatica wouldnt be able to bend forward as much as i was able to when i was there. I asked to get x-rays because regardless of where my pain is, my nerve was pinched. They refused to give me x-rays and told me the cause was probably just my nerve being inflamed and they shrugged me off and told me to keep taking my opiod pain killers (fantastic advice). Since Ive gone to a chiropractor who did x-rays after 5 minutes of telling him what happened. Turns out I have a bulging disc in my lower back and it has been pressing on my nerve for years. Im glad that Dr. Hodges office was aware enough to know that opiod pain killers would help this problem and that it was just some minor inflammation. 10/10 would not recommend for any serious health problems.

On Friday, February 17 2017 ,I went fir my approach with Dr.Beth Hodges ..upon making the appointment for thus day, I told her I had an uti ..I was asked if I had a pap smear in last yr I told them no so that procedure was to be done as well.i go in and gave the urine ..I could see blood was in it as I indicated to the Dr when making the appt...she did pap smear and took blood samples due to certain meds I take ...and checked out ..I had not heard from the pap smear ,blood work or urine ..I called following Tuesday was told no culture on urine was done ..I said that was main reason I had the appt. What happened to the urine sample? Proceeded to tell me pap smear was good but nothing was said about blood work ...following Sunday I went to Archdale CVS to minute clinic ...was told I has severe infection and lot if blood ..got meds ...IF ANYONE IS SEARCHING FOR A NEW DR...DO NOT GO TO HODGES CLINIC IN ASHEBORO ..RUN FOR THE HILLS ...BETH HODGES SHOULD HAVE HER LISCENSE REVOKED ..SUPPOSE SOMEONE GOES TO HER WITH SAMETHING I HAD AND THEY ARE NOT UNDERSTAND THE MEDICAL LARGIN.OR BORDERLINE MENTALLY CHALLENGE THEY COULD DEVELOP SERIOUS MEDICAL PROBLEMS AS A RESULT....HER HUSBAND WORKS WITH HER I CANT SPEAK ON HOW HE IS BECAUSE IVE NOT DEALT WITH HIM ..
