Critter Care has been such a good place for our family - we highly recommend! Dr. Stephanie and her staff are always so great with our dog, Memphis and we trust them 100%. Very clean place, extremely professional, and super loving - you cant ask for better people to take care of your animals! Coming from a bigger city in TX (that charges way more in fees), its so nice having such great care for our fur baby in a small town. Stephanie and her team operate an awesome veterinary clinic with professionalism, compassion, and empathy to all pets and owners. Critter care is a small town clinic and atmosphere giving patient centered service while still using modern technology and care. Stephanie and her family are long time multi generation residents of Artesia and are committed to the local community. Stephanie and the clinic are active in the local community, church, and charities and the clinic supports many local charity and youth activities. While some people can never be pleased and have negative personalities and are vocal as such, we all know the type, the vast majority of people love Critter Care Center, Dr. Stephanie, and her staff and find a great experience, compassionate animal care, and a good quality value. I am always proud of Dr. Stephanie and her team in the many, many, people who have told me over the last 12 years how awesome and compassionate she is to them and their animals. You know with all this pandemic going on it is so hard to get service anywhere much less good service but I texted Dr Simmons late on Friday night and she answered right away gave me all the help thru texting she could then met me Saturday morning took good care of my fur babies thank you soooooo much for helping me and my babies its good to know theres still great service out there.....

I have been a client of Dr. Stephanie since she established her practice. My pets have always been treated with the utmost care & compassion. She goes above & beyond to make sure each patient receives the appropriate care.

My 14 1/2 yr old was having dementia and other issues. I could not get her in to another vet for 3 weeks, even though I felt it was an emergency situation. It was either 3 weeks or a 3 hour wait. I called Critter Care and they got her in the next morning. Dr. Stephanie took xrays and explained everything in detail. We tried her on some medication which unfortunately did not help. We decided to let our fur baby go and the team and Stephanie were so kind and caring. They let us spend as much time as we needed with her. I will be taking my other fur kids to Stephanie from now on.

I have taken my pets to Dr. Stephanie for many years. From puppies to end of life, her and her staff have been most excellent to work with and have provided moist excellent care. I have a skittish dog that can be scary (even though he is really a huge pantywaist). Dr. Stephanie and her staff have always treated him well.

While traveling from the east coast, our dog became sick and needed a vet. The KOA where we were staying recommended Critter Care. After explaining her symptoms, the office said to bring her right in. They did lab work, prescribed meds and assured us that she would be ok in a couple days. We even boarded her there the next day while touring theCarlsbad Caverns.The staff was very professional and friendly. Great vet and staff.Thank you Critter Care.

I called made an appointment for my dog I expressed concern over not being allowed to go in with my dog knowing he’s not used to being around new people was told they could come out to the car to do his shots if needed showed up and was told no and because of his breed they wanted him sedated so they re scheduled my appointment gave me the sedative to give him a hour before appointment did not tell me I would be charged for them! I show up to second appointment again told them he acts skiddish around new people may get spooked they took him in brought him out told me he was too aggressive they wouldn’t do his shots that I needed to get him trained then charged me $70 for sedation and a consultation I never got! Brought my baby home and he has been out of it ever since couldn’t hardly walk! I was so upset and will never go back

I’m writing this with a heavy heart, we called Stephanie this morning to help with our baby of almost 13 years Indiana! She made suggestions for his final arrangements she was so considerate of our feelings and our much needed time for final goodbyes. If you want a Vet that really cares for both your furry family member and your human family she is the one! Thank you from the all of us for making the transition easier.

I took my golden retriever to get his shots, the workers were nice, humble, and welcoming. My dog was not nervous, and everything went smooth, and we left satisfied.

I rushed my puppy in after hed been attacked by another dog and they were extremely responsive and helpful with getting him the care he needed
