The worst place to get prescriptions! Does anyone work or are they always on a lunch break? Sit in the drive thru for 20 mins and no car has moved. Just absolute poor service!!
Every time I get something filled here its a hassle. And it is impossible to call them, it hangs up on you,so have to physically go in every single time you need to talk to them. They wont tell you when its filled, or call the doctor if you are out of refills, or even tell you when you are out of refills. I only used them due to being closer than Wegmans, but Im done with Walgreens.
I take 8 medications every day, and I transferred my prescriptions to the Rite aid in Bay Hills shopping center at the beginning of February. I am allowed to take up to 4 yellow pills during the day. However, the pills I got from Rite Aid were larger and blue. I didnt think anything of it because I always get generic brands, and they often come in different shapes and sizes. But ever since I picked up my meds, I have been throwing them up Every Single morning. So I finally used an online pill identifier... And it turns out that I have been taking FOUR ANTIBIOTICS every day, for WEEKS!!Never, in all my years, have I been given the wrong medication from a pharmacy! Its unheard of! Can you imagine!? I am Extremely grateful that I didnt end up in a hospital. IMO Rite Aid is going down the crapper, and there is No Way Ill ever take my scripts there again.
Pharmacy gave poor service
Went into this location to pick up on a few items that I could not find at the grocery store. It was around 5pm when I stopped by and the store cashiers in the front were very busy checking out customers. I was hoping to perhaps find a kite that I could share with my grandchildren. Since the front cashiers were so busy I walked to the back of the store hoping to find an employee that could simply tell me if the store carried kites. I had no luck finding a floor employee so I stopped at the pharmacy counter. They had no customers and there were three employees behind the pharmacy counter just chatting. After standing at the pharmacy counter for a few minutes it was clear that I would have to interrupt their conversation if I were to have any chance of finding a kite. I inquired of the young girl if she happened to know if the store carried kites. Much to my surprise (and anger) the young girl very rudely said, How am I suppose to know, I work in the pharmacy. Now I was not expecting any kind of a scientific response here...just asking if anyone had seen kites in the store. A little help to better guide me in my search would have been nice but it appears that I was asking for far too much from this young female pharmacy employee. So I just left to find my daughter but decided to find the store manager instead. I explained the situation and then replied that I would have written up that young girl on the spot. There are many young high school students who are looking for work these days and there is no reason why any customer should have to put up with such a response. I did leave the store and stopped elsewhere to spend my money.
Two sets of passport photos were too light and I had to get them retaken at the post office. Go to Sams Club to get passport photos done, much better quality and only $6.
Newish rite aid. Very well lit, clean, organized, and helpful people. They have a drive through.
If you want to be waiting forever to pick up your prescription. Unfortunately I settle because its easier than going inside somewhere with my unruly toddler.
I received the wrong generic brand for my prescription and didnt notice it until I got home. When I called I was told they didnt have the generic brand that was noted in my records but would place an order and I could pick it up today. I took the last pill yesterday and tried to pick up the correct prescription today only to be told by the pharmacist that although they had the correct brand in stock (probably because the person I talked to ordered it for me)they would not give it to me because they have the right to fill a prescription with any generic they have in stock and would not even allow me to pay out of pocket for a couple of pills until this issue could be resolved. Terrible customer service and negligent patient care, but I have no choice since my insurance dictates that I have to use Rite Aid for my prescriptions. I have filed a complaint with my insurance company and with Rite Aid customer service which will take a couple of days to resolve, until then I am out of medication. If you can choose where to fill your prescriptions, DONT choose this Rite Aid.I am happy to say that in less than 24 hours my problem was resolved and i was able to pick up the correct prescription tonight. The pharmacy staff was very gracious and assured me that this would never happen again. A big thank you to everyone involved in helping me reach a speedy resolution to this problem. My doctors office has told me to give a special big thank you to Greg from Rite Aid customer service. Thank You Greg!
Beware this location! My neighbor bought me a Starbucks card here for helping him out with cleaning his gutters. I took the card to Starbucks and they said there was nothing on it. I went to the Rite-aid in question and they told me to call the number on the back of the card. I did so and Starbucks said that Rite-aid never activated the card. With this, I got back in line and the manager told me that although Rite-aid was at fault, there was nothing they could do because I *might* be trying to get over on them by stealing the card and trying to get them to activate it. They said that this happens all the time. That means any of us could be ripped off by this store and probably frequently are.
This pharmacy is awesome. Have been filling prescriptions for over 26 years. Pharmacy techs, clerks and Most especially the Pharmacists are super professional. I have not had one bad experience since the mid 1980s. There have been times when I have had to wait a few minutes but I could look around and see that the lines were long, it was flu season, etc. I was always apologized to for wait and medicine was dispensed ina timely manner. Current Pharmacist, Johnetta had done a fantastic job and I would like to commend her. I do miss Livingston who also had been at this store for quite some time but recently transferred. I wish him well. Overall a great store and above average pharmacy
Excellent store. Always clean and organized. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Best Candy and Service! The pharmacy area is so understanding and AWESOME!
Nice place needs to improve the customer services but it’s clean and organized
The pharmacy is a joke. They always have an excuse of why the Rx isnt completed when they said it would be. and whats the point of a drive thru when I have to wait almost 30 minutes to get it through there. And then Brittany decided to argue with me about which Rite Aid is my choice of pharmacy when Ive unfortunately been coming here for the past 20 years. Only to realize shes been talking to me about a different patient. Oh and my favorite part was when they dispensed my sons Amoxicillin without mixing it first. Unprofessional and unethical. What a joke of a business/pharmacy
Requested my refill (Insurance allows for 5 days before) because of a business trip. I use a scheduled mediciation for RLS. The pharmacist refused and looked at me as if I had a problem. I have NEVER asked for an early refill or had a lost medication claim.DO NOT use these pharmacists - they are as BAD as people who racial profile / pre judge people. I called Safeway and they took the refill and had it ready for me the same day.Again, I can’t stress this enough - I was hoping the new building in BAY Hills would put a little compassion in the employees but nope - just as bad. I shredded my Plenti Card, and my family will not use the on site clinic or purchase another thing there. Ever.
Photo Kiosk has been broken for weeks and they basically said they had no intention of fixing it until it becomes a Walgreens.
Nice store. Easy access. Clean.
Just learned that this location is switching to become a walgreens!!!
Store is decnt but never use their pharmacy they are always extremely slow without any good reason behind and will be rude to you while you are waiting
Do they ever answer the phone in the pharmacy???? Seriously.
Worst service of any Rite Aid I’ve ever visited!
Newly remodeled
