I had ankle surgery yesterday, with Dr.Crawford as my surgeon, everything went so smoothly and so peaceful, they listened to my concerns, and helped ease my mind about them, after one of the nurse heard my sister and I praying, she prayed over me as well, this meant the world to me, everyone from check in, to register, to pre- op, to the surgery nurse and the rest of the surgical team were kind and caring, they kept my sister up dated every step of the way, and as soon as I woke up and started to panic and ask for her, they got her quickly. I cant say enough good things about this team. Thank you for all you do.

EVERYONE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY FROM THE TIME THAT I walked thru the door.My son who brought me was given a white paper sack with goodies in it and a thank you note for bringing me to their hospital. They sent him a text explaining their method of letting him know how my knee surgery was progressing. After I finally woke up from the surgery,I was treated so kindly by my nurse who stayed at my my side. She just let me chatter as much as I wanted. My short stay was a good experience.

If I could give them a ZERO I would. I had shoulder surgery on Dec 8th. When being wheeled in the operating room once there i had to move to the other bed. It was hard because I was over medicated. Then the anesthesiologists hit me on my left shoulder. Still trying to see about a lawsuit about that. Then I was in no way ready to be released but because Im a African-American female that rushed me out. I was so druged up I was not able to put my clothes on. The nurses where rude and I hope they dont have to go to the hospital for anything and be treated this badly.

Some of the staff have a listening problem and jus wanna pump you full of meds. You know your body best and when you try and tell them whats wrong they dont listen. When they put my collar on after my neck surgery they put it on upside down. Wow they should know what theyre doing. I was jus disappointed..

I was in this hospital for 3 nights after my bi-lateral knee replacement. I had such wonderful care! I felt as if everyone truly cared about my recovery and well being. I had immediate response from my call button. When being helped to the bathroom, the aide/nurse would always straighten my bed, fill my water jug, get new ice packs for my aching knees. Once while being helped in the shower, the aide came in with a warm blanket to dry me off. It was this extra kindness that makes this such a great hospital. I had my husband go home at night because we were so confident I would be taken care of and I was! The night staff (Larry!) Seemed especially attentive, being right on time with pain meds and believe me that is important! The food was even yummy! The therapist (love Cory!) Were encouraging and attentive. I had all confidence in Dr. Pond as my surgeon. He was very caring and professional. I would 100% recommend using this hospital.

Dr.Dean Wow don’t go there, My arm was twice the size and he told me it was my normal? Well it wasn’t, Something told me to get another Surgeon! And I surely was right, My arm was Bad infected. And it took 1 surgery just to get the metal out of my arm that Dr.Thad Dean said was out? And 1 emergency surgery to drain more bad infection. Thank Goodness I still have my arm. Please find another doctor… And remember My review ! He hurts people!!!!

Check in was flawless. Staff courteous and efficient. Lobby and surgery area spotless. Surgical staff treated me like a V.I.P. Recovery room staff very attentive and comforting. Surgeon, anesthesiologist and nurses excellent. Pager was provided to family in waiting room in addition to electronic board in lobby to keep all informed of progress. It was as close to a wonderful experience as is possible when one is having surgery. I would recommend to any loved ones

Went in for extreme pain in my upper back that I had been dealing with for weeks. Best staff and care hands down. My journey is not over yet but they got me taken care of and back home. I slept for a full five hours last night. Considering I have had about 5 hours sleep in several days I am pleased. The injections they gave me might only last for a couple of days but I will take that. Thank you ER staff you were caring and helpful.

Terrible facility to deal with. Incompetent billing service. They take your copayment upfront at the time of service. You think you are squared away until a bill comes weeks later asking for hundreds more! Then when you call and question your bill... they say they cant give you an itemized statement.... the clerk is telling me SHE has to send an email to request releasing an itemized statement... and it could take a few days!!! ....oh but they sure can mail, email, verbally tell you dollar amounts and your balance on the spot...ready to take your credit card over the phone!VERY DECEPTIVE BILLING PRACTICES.Unethical scheduling to inflate and duplicate facility charge. Heres the deal with me; I need injections that take literally 3 minutes from start to start.. an assembly line of patients and mine is with a local anesthetic in my neck and lumbar every 6-9 months because thats all it lasts. They refused to do both my neck and lumbar at the same time (I used to live in another state and that doctor did both!) Instead so they could charge a $6000 facility fee TWICE!!!! OMG!!! To make a patient come back 7 days later just so they can bill a second facility charge..this is over and unnecessary utilization of resources and why our healthcare system is broken...greedy corporations...yes Baylor is a business and a Corporation.. so is the doctor groups... and these specialists..the orthopedic surgeons get reimbursed more if they DO NOT perform a second site but instead bill a single procedure code at a time in separate visits. They ALL DESERVE TO BE PAID RATES SIMILAR TO SOCIAL MEDICINE PAID THE WAY THEY DO IN CANADA!

Top notch experience with my finger surgery at Baylor Orthopedic and Spine Hospital. Every aspect from registration to recovey was a 5 out of 5! I truly appreciate the hard work that the staff puts in to make the facility pristine. They made me feel like i was the only one there. Thank you to each one of you who assisted me that day. Dr. Brentlinger did a fantastic job on my surgery. When you need a hospital.... go to Baylor Orthopedic and Spine!

Outstanding and extremely professional in all areas. Preop you are visited by the surgeon, anesthesiologist, surgical nurse and admitting nurse all reaffirming the procedure to minimize mistakes. Recovery was fabulous. One of my probs typically is nausea following surgery. First they asked about my pain then about the nausea. Post surgery they are concerned with patient safety and pain control. Physical therapy is awesome. Even the food is good. This is the finest hospital with which Ive ever been associated. And I hate hospitals.

I had a surgery back in 2016, that my insurance company had already agreed to and should have paid for. When they didnt, Baylor Orthopedic and Spine of Arlington Texas, did not care. The only thing they wanted to know, was how was I going to pay the $10,709.06. They had no advice or help to offer at all....only, How would you like to pay this bill? They sent my file to collections. And by luck, the lady with Mnet was Linda Satter. A nice lady out in California. She wanted to know all of the details...she wanted to help. She advised me of what I needed to do, and explained the situation to me. I got off the phone with her and got to work on Humana. They tried to stone wall me and say the procedure was out of network, even though they approved it prior to the procedure. But Linda had already coached me on that...and I was ready for them.Bottom line...I received the EOB and Humana paid the bill!!There was with absolutely no help from Baylors billing dept. Many thank yous to Linda Satter. I cant believe its the collections lady that was so helpful, in helping me figure this out.Why couldnt Baylor help me and advise me? Seems it would have saved them some $$$.

Had several procedures performed - they were always running an hour or more behind. Ran into billing issue where the facility overcharged me by $300.00 and refused to refund. Story keeps changing: end of August they were waiting for insurance check to clear, end of September they were closing out the quarter and couldnt issue check, October insurance underpaid them. EOB and and insurance company says they are contracted to give discount and were paid per the agreement. Medical staff was great but over booked, AP guy has no care to resolve this. Will not return and will change orthopedic surgeons if he dont have privileges elsewhere.

Very kind, professional and competent staff. Promptly received attention for acute back pain event. However, be aware that Emergency Room charges will apply. The overall costs (without any diagnostic tests which would be extra) was approximately $750, which I understand is par for emergency rooms. Be aware. Urgent care (UC) would have been FAR less expensive. In retrospect, next time, I will apply ice, take Aleve and go to UC as a walk-in.

I started my journey with Dr. Graybill and his staff at Arlington Orthopedic Associates. Hands down, a great team. But, going into any hospital can be very intimidating, especially for the first time. Nope! Not at BOSHA. The ladies at the front checked us in very efficiently and with a smile every time. I cant remember all the names, but Chelsey, Mariella, Suzie, and my apologies for not remembering everyones name. My IVs never hurt, hearing laughter, warm blankets, always asking if there were any questions, and always explaining what was going on are just a few compliments to pass along. There were lots of people taking great care of us. I felt like my wife and I were part of their families. I got calls before my visits, after the visits, and even cards in the mail. Dr. Graybill said they were the best of the best, and he was right. There was incredible organization, more incredible organization, teamwork, great skill levels, very forgiving (my bad memory), and a great environment as everyone was happy. Heck, they even put up with my strange sense of humor!Thank you Baylor Orthopedic and Spine Hospital !!!

I had a bilateral lamanectomy (think I spelled that right) but from the moment I went in for the appointment to the time I woke up I received nothing but the best treatment. I felt 10X better than before. I even asked them to not use morphine (cause of the nasty lil hang over it gave me last time) and instead they used something alil weaker and felt totally fine. Heck, I even went shopping that same day for compression socks (DID NOT WANT TO BE SEEN WEARING PANTY HOSE) lmao. But seriously, these people know what they are doing.
