The highest compliment that you can give someone is a referral! That’s exactly what I’ve done, SEVERAL times. I trust Megan with the people that I know. I trust Megan with myself. I’ve never had an issue with her professionalism or integrity. Megan greets you with a smile and has a listening ear when needed. Megan, I would like to personally thank you for the service that you’ve provided me and my loved ones that I’ve referred to you.

Megan and I have presented together and we have trained counselor supervisors together. I have seen her professionalism firsthand and am amazed by her wealth of knowledge about ethical, skillful counseling and supervising. She is dedicated to serving her community through her counseling practice and providing an amazing client experience to her clients. I am proud to call her my colleague.

Megan was my supervisor when I was a student several years ago. I learned a great deal from her and hold her in the highest regard. I recently referred a client to her when I realized they lived in Mansfield and the drive to my office was too far. She is a leader within her community. She is continuously growing herself, which is the best type of therapist, because they pass that growth on to their clients.

Megan seemed like a great counselor. I won’t take that away from her. Her policies for booking with her are a little unreasonable. And her professionalism I question a little. Whoever answer her phones and respond to emails is rude and short. They rarely answer phones or questions but when it’s time to pay they will hound you for sure. I had high hopes but was let down by the lack of communication and the disinterest Megan showed to make things right.

Megan was a trainer for my supervision course required by the state of TX after I moved back home from GA. I have been a PhD for 10 years and an LPC for longer. Megan was the consummate professional--she clearly knows her stuff and it is obvious that her clients not only get what they need, they love working with her. Id be proud to refer anyone to Megan and Family First Counseling.

After interning at Family First Counseling I was certain I wanted to go into the mental health profession because of the care I saw each client receive. The atmosphere at Family First was welcoming and relaxed. I learned a great deal about counseling by watching Megan Pickens. She taught me about the importance of professionalism, confidentiality, having patience and acceptance for each client. I would recommend Megan Pickens to anyone seeking counseling.

We had an appointment scheduled with Megan. Completely Unprofessional and uncaring I made an appointment for this place over 2 weeks ago and literally when we walked through the door we were told we had to reschedule. A phone call would have been nice considerInga the fact that clients do actually take off of work for your services.
