Horrible experience!!!! My dad was taken in for low blood sugar and it turned out to be a nightmare.He was restrained for 4 days without any extremity movement nor appropriate range of motion exercises that you are suppose to do when you have patients in restraints. He has a hospital acquired deep tissue injury to the right heel of his foot because they did elevate his legs to provide preventative measures. My dad is unable to move extremities due to pain. He was also completely lethargic, as he was given strong sedative, when he was discharged with no evaluation of physical or occupational therapy needs. The hospital environment was as if it was on a third world country (dirty and ant infested) He had ants crawling all over him in the bed and call light was not within reach for help and his TV was disconnected. This is the state they had my father in. I had to take him to another hospital because he was having shortness of breath and severe cough, which they refuse to address prior to discharge. Staff also was not changing COVID PPE between nonCOVID patients and COVID patients. It is a true disgrace that this hospitals are even allowed to provide patient care. DONT TAKE YOUR LOVE ONES THERE!!!

I mean this is a nightmare of a hospital. Who is in charge of this freaking place? Nobody gives supervision. I mean how many times does a person have to ask to be re-evaluated. I have been here almost 12 hours. My 89 year old mother waiting for re-evaluation since 8 p.m. I have been to the front desk 9 times and 9 times I have been told that she is pending that the doctor sees her chart. These people are lucky that I am not a troublemaker but come tomorrow at midnight in 40 minutesI will have to change the way I have asked for service.

My wife comes to do some studies and they ask her to come with a companion, perfect. This hospital is undoubtedly bad, slow and inconsiderate. I came in with my 7-month-old baby at 4pm to have the pertinent studies done. At 6pm they performed them, from 7pm they indicated that the results were ready and to wait for a re-evaluation of the doctor. Its 12am and they still havent evaluated my girl. We are the only ones in the pediatric area.

I go through the easy “irony” process of a pre-admission for an MRI by filling out the required documentation:Step 1- Clinical questionnaire, for appointment on May 26, 2021Step 2- they call me indicating that the machine was faulty, it was missing a magnet, change of appointment for June 15, 2021Step 3- authorization or referral of the Vital plan in HatilloStep4- wait for authorization for two weeks and go to pick it upStep 5- study day- I leave my house at 4:00 a.m. since the appointment indicates from 5:30 a.m. in order of arrivalStep 6- The Hospital opens at 5:00 am and a gentleman attends me with the typical phrase that he comes to. No good morning and with a finish and tell me face. I sign up, I do number one.Step 7- A less kind lady attends me even at 5:36 am she tells me that if the MRI is contrast, she indicated that it is not. Who sent you this answers and I quote: I indicate that it was the Gastro since I am a Crohns patient.Step 8: Mrs. Amable, named Rebecca Alicea, gives me a pink card to collect the results and a small piece of paper so that when I leave the study, I go to the window to pay a $ 3 deductible. He tells me to wait in front of the door to the MRI center, I proceed.This is the best part comes to the TECHNICIAN named Keila Perez. It tells me that the study should be with contrast. Exactly 1 hour and 3 minutes waiting for an appointment (they havent called me yet). Little staff and some work and others go round and round in front of the computer, stop, go from one place to another. I have only seen one person in the waiting time that I have been here ... terrible service to request a simple appointment ... This is in the registration area to request an appointment for MRI.

I went to have a plate taken from me and I was 3 hours waiting 1 1/2 waiting to fill the record and the rest of the time for them to call me to make the plate and it only took 10 minutes to remove the plate. As well as to collect the results that is another problem it took me almost two hours and when they called me it took more than 15 minutes to give me the results because I was doing something else.

My grandparents waited 11 hours to get to say that they have pneumonia and during those hours, my grandmother had to be like a nurse and bathe my grandfather and also put him in bed.

On June 10, my son and I survived an accident in a plane and were taken to this hospital. Thank God we only had strong blows to different parts of the body and a concussion on my head.The treatment, attentions, care and professionalism of the nurses, doctors, x-ray technicians, the security officer and the medical record area was exceptional !!!!Thank you Dra. Plaza, I am grateful for your dedication and care for my health.Although today, a month after the accident, we are still in pain and under treatment for the blows we suffered, I know that you greatly contributed to making that horrible and painful moment less difficult.

The stretchers and equipment used with the PTEs need to be cultured. The doctor who attended the 10-16-18 shift discharges the PTEs and does not handle them if they are operated on.
