Ive been using Triad Eye Associates for 7 years and have always been comforted by the level of care and attention that Ive received. Even after having Lasik, I continue to go to them for annual check ups to ensure that everything is still good. Recently I had an emergency where I had pressure and discomfort around my eye, they scheduled me in within two days to make sure that I was seen.

I have called a total of three times and written them in the portal. I have been assured I would be sent my prescription in just a few minutes but since the end of September I am still waiting. This is just rude and irresponsible on their part.

I made an appointment over 6 months ago to see the doctor for a referral to have my cataracts removed. Originally a year ago -- I was told my cataracts was only 20% and the insurance will not pay until they reach 80% -- but dont worry it will not take that long. So my appointment today was for a check up and referral.When I got there the reception desk lady told me I did not have an appointment. She also said she checked and I have never made an appointment for over a year. I told her that was not correct and showed her on my phone the email they had sent me plus about 4 other text messages. Then somewhere out of nowhere suddenly it appeared -- I canceled the only appointment I made by texting them NO. This is not true because I needed the referral. She proceed to go and talk to someone in the back. When she came back she asked me to return at 11:30 they had a cancelation. (at this point this opening could have been real or not). I did ask for the name of the doctor they send patient to for cataract removal and the other desk person gave me a card with that persons office number.

Excellent service, and answered all of my questions and concerns! Highly Recommended to anyone!

Horrible service. Made me stand by the door while they helped the next two people that walked in after me that did not have a appointment. One of which was there for the exact same reason I was.

Had an appointment set up for 10 am.. sit in the waiting room for 50 minutes, go up to the front desk and ask them whats taking so long, they say they are about to take me back to the exam room, but even after they do it will be another 45 minutes before I will be seen. Whats the point of even setting up an appointment if its going to take 2 hours to be seen!? Its Absolutely ridiculous. They need to understand that people have to get back to work and dont have that much time to waste. Would NOT reccomend this place.

Went in for eye exam and possible corrective lens. Everything went ok until the Doc came in. He proceeds to put drops in my eyes before checking for visual acuity. At that point I could hardly see the wall, much less read the top line of the chart. The Doc was upset that he could not get a lens set that would clear my vision. He then decided that I should go to a lasic specialist. After leaving the office I could not read anything even with the readers that I usually use. Next morning after the drops had cleared out of my system every thing was back to normal using my readers. I call their office early in the AM. Left message. Late in the day I went by the office where I talked to the lady at desk. Told her to stop the referral and to have someone call me about what had happen. Two days later and I have not heard from them.

I have been going here for a few years and the service has gone steadily downhill the past couple of years. They used to be so friendly and helpful. This time when I visited I sat in the exam room for an hour and no one came in so finally walked up to the front desk. The receptionist just shrugged her shoulders with no explanation. I had been there over an hour so had to cancel to get back to work. As I walked out she told me to give her a call to reschedule. What happened to being courteous? I dont need excuses - I also work and I also have schedules and deadlines and I cant get away with treating people that way. So after all these years its time to find a new optometrist which maybe is a good thing.

I have had many eye exams, but TRIAD EYE ALWAYS GETS IT RIGHT AND PUTS YOU FIRST!Taking my Husband with me this time, he is going to be pleased to be able to see betterHIGHLY RECOMMEND! TELL THEM JANICE SENT YOU!

My family of 4 have been going to Triad EyeCare for 15 years. My son ended up with some metal stuck in his eyeball and we called as soon as they were open Dec 13th. I was told they were full and had no opening that day to see him. Now what optometrist office doesnt have time to see someone with an object stuck in their eyeball?We ended calling 3 other Optometrist office (where we have never gone to) and none of them had time to see him. We ended up calling the Optometrist that has an office at Walmart and they had him come in right away and cut out some of the metal and gave antibiotic eye drops. Several days later they removed more of the metal from his eye, then we went back for a 3rd recheck and all the metal was gone.My family And I will not be returning to this practice since they dont have time to care for their patients when there is actually a need. I will also be sharing this on facebook and by word of mouth to anyone that will listen.

They are so professional so friendly,so courteous and they have the experience and last but not least they are so knowledgable.

They are the sweetest people. We go to the one in Archdale. They are awsome.

Terrible service I will never go back to Triad Eye Associates in Archdale.they dont answer calls,call back or email.I cant get in touch with anyone there to order contacts.
