Today was my 2nd visit with Michelle. I have been to many different massage therapists over the past 10 years, and Melissa has created two of the best experiences I have had so far! She is extremely intuitive and focuses on the areas that need it most. She creates such a calm and trusting atmosphere that I am able to relax deeper than I ever have during a massage! The treatment room is really beautiful and unique, and in general, the Be. Center is just a super cool and welcoming atmosphere to be in! I am very grateful!

Michelle was so professional, fast and efficient! She was thorough & made me feel comfortable every step of my wax. I will be booking again.

I had my first appointment yesterday and cannot say enough good things about the experience and the results. I have a very physically demanding job that takes its toll and I am very picky about body workers. Michelle struck the perfect balance between a therapeutic treatment - I can lift my arms straight up again! - and relaxation with the use of calming surroundings, aromatherapy and liniment application on the particularly sore areas. I have already scheduled a longer follow-up with her and look forward to improved wellness overall as I begin to see her on a regular basis!

I had utilized Michelles services when she had worked at another Spa and was happy that she had started her own business. I have been going to Michelle for a number of years when I lived in Appleton and do make the trip up from the Madison area where I live currently to use her services. She is very professional and a wonderful person to be able to work with as a client of hers. My last visit up to Appleton, this was my first visit to her new business location located in a beautiful renovated older home. Would highly recommend Michelle.

Komorebi & Co. Day Spa is a calm, welcoming space for self-care services in the heart of Appleton. I received a 90 minute massage from Michelle, the owner of Komorebi. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was in a healing environment. Michelle welcomed me at the door and as she went to prepare the room for me she invited me to browse the essential oil collection for my choice of complimentary aromatherapy for my massage. I chose a serenity blend and enjoyed how it heightened the sensory experience. Michelle gave me an incredible massage. I had some deep tension going on in my back from my job, and I wasnt aware of just how much it had settled into those muscles but Michelle pointed it out to me, and discussed the best way to approach it and I agreed that I wanted her to spend some time working on that specifically. I felt connected with Michelle during the treatment and she communicated clearly with me, very aware of how I was feeling during the entire service, checking in often on pressure and sensation. Some of the deeper pressure was intense on the sorest/tightest spots but she stayed in touch with me on those, and adjusted the pressure as needed. Conversation came and went in a pleasant way during the service. Michelle is in tune with her client the whole time so if you feel like talking shes there with you and if you feel like being silent she honors that. I feel that is really important in the massage therapist/client relationship. After my session was over I left the table feeling very calm yet energized, feeling my blood and energy circulating throughout my whole body, just feeling very alive and well...which is the whole point of bodywork. Michelle made sure to follow up my service with encouragement to ice any sore spots where she worked deep into the tissue (I did and was a little sore but I expected that with the tightness that just kind of lives in my back). I want to also point out that every area of the spa is neat and extremely clean. As I was setting up my bill we chatted in the waiting area while I got my bearings and drank some water, I did not feel rushed. I loved the welcoming feel from beginning to end of my time there. A top-notch experience.

My fiance and I get a couples massage each year for Valentines Day. Every year we have tried a different place because we just hadnt found the right fit. This year we tried out Komorebi and we will never go anywhere else for a massage. We both have very different needs- he has back and neck problems and he prefers a deep massage and I prefer a lighter touch. They customized each of our massages individually so we both got our perfect massage. We both agree that our bodies have never felt better! I will be recommending Komorebi to everyone!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I typically get monthly massages from Charles who does a great job, is always willing to answer any questions, and does wonders on “problem areas”. The atmosphere is relaxing. I would definitely recommend Komorebi!

I had a deep tissue massage with Charles and it was the best deep tissue massage I have ever experienced. My body feels amazing! He was sweet and so professional! In fact, I liked it so much I purchased a gift certificate for a friend! I am going back for a Swedish massage, eyelash extensions and dermaplaning. I highly recommend them!

My first experience at Komorebi was great. The staff were friendly and attentive and the services were wonderful. My Swedish massage was relaxing and tension-relieving. The eyebrow wax was very well done and was not painful at all.

I went to see Valerie for a facial and got so much more. It was a total mind and body experience, my face feels incredible and I felt like I got to escape everyday life. I dont like to pamper or do things for myself; however I will be doing this for myself as much as I can because of Valeries professionalism, kindness and knowledge in her field of work. I would HIGHLY recommend taking the time to book an appointment and escape the stress of everyday life without breaking the bank.

Amazing service! Valerie was wonderful! I had gone in for a bikini wax (3rd ever) and 1st ever under arm wax. Altho a bit painful, it is a waxing after all, Val was wonderful. Her customer service had us (i like having someone hold my hand) laughing and talking. If you like a good sense of humor to ease your mind this is the lady to see!

I have seen Charles for awhile now. Absolutely amazing massage. My shoulder gets sore sitting at a desk, and after an hour with Charles it is brand new. Ive also had a facial and the Ilike line is organic and really works. I highly recommend Komorebi. * Note this is a review mostly of Charles, an excellent masseuse. I have never been to Body Philosophy.

2 weeks ago my wife and I came in for a couples massage with Charles and Vicki . It was amazing. My wife and I left feeling incredibly relaxed after a very stressful week. Vicki was able to work out stress knots that have been bugging me for weeks.
