I had an excellent experience with Fox Valley Surgical. Dr. Krieger removed my gallbladder. From my first office visit to the surgery...everything was excellent! Great staff! Dr. Krieger was very thorough, professional, and has a great bedside manner. Very happy to have this skilled surgeon take care of me.

I went in for a half-hour consult with the doctor about my surgical options. I was told my BMI is too high for surgery. Thats fair, but I got a $490 bill. My insurance paid $131 of it, so Im on the hook for $359. They want me to come back in three months. I could never take off enough weight in that amount of time to make it worth another $490.

I was impressed with my entire office visit. Scheduling, Reception, Nursing care and Physician visit were all above my expectation. A big thank you to all of the staff for making my visit welcoming and relaxing.

My experience was great from start to finish! Doctor Wilkes is a true professional and is how I envision a doctor to be. From the very beginning, he was polite, friendly, straight forward, and did his very best to educate and help me understand my problem and the correct course of action needed. When symptoms worsened, he took immediate action. My procedure proceeded as I hoped and without any major complications. While in hospital, he made consistent and timely rounds. Upon discharge, he personally followed up a few days later to check on my well-being. Doctor Wilkes is supported by a great staff. Prior to my procedure, his nurse, Julie, helped me ensure everything was situated regarding insurance requirements/notifications, as well as assisted in getting me mentally prepared. This team of professionals epitomizes class and professionalism.

I tried to schedule a surgical procedure with this group. It took me about 10 phone calls before I could get it scheduled. I was referred by my hematologist. Each time I called, I got a different person who said only a specific scheduler could schedule that procedure. They would transfer me to that person who never answered and I would leave a message only to get a phone call back from yet another scheduler who would tell me the same thing. They were very rude and never apologized for my inconvenience. When the right person called, she was short, rude and did not allow me to voice my frustrations. I had called a supervisor also but she never returned my phone call. Very unhelpful people and very rude. This is very unacceptable. They are not putting patients concerns first and this has nothing to do with COVID care where staff are so taxed.

I have had help from the doctors and their associates at Fox Valley Surgical since 2005. They have seen me through a variety of health issues and have been willing to see me on short notice as well as long range health follow-ups. They are very willing to work with other facilities when that may be the best for for their patients. I am so happy to have them in the area as an independent group with just a phone call away. A five star group for sure!

Dr. Beth Krieger you saved my brother Randalls life. He is a tough patient and your surgeries, before and after care are forever appreciated.I highly recommend this talented intelligent Doctor. She is the BEST.

A place called Surgical Associates you would think would have some kind of idea about surgery and what to do. I went to surgical associates for what my doctor said would be an easy procedure.The doctor at surgical associates said she didnt know what to do and I would have to go somewhere else. This great doctor visit cost me a $60 copay, and then they sent me a bill for $192. Steer clear from this place. It is a Joke.

Was very satisfied. I got in on time kept everything moving up to my time of surgery as far as prepping, talking to anesthesiologist and Dr Mitchell. After surgery was good in recovery. They also kept my wife up to date as things went along. Dr J. Mitchell was very good to work with never felt rushed always took her time to answer my questions.

I had venous ablation with phlebectomies and can now run again and remain active with my kids without aching legs or discomfort. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to my working schedule. Getting in for surgery was streamlined and efficient and I was well taken care of after surgery. I am extremely grateful to be able to live the lifestyle I want because of them. I continue to recommend to friends and family.

I want to thank Fox Valley Surgical for making me feel so comfortable during a stressful time. The emergency room visit, followed by an emergency surgery for my ruptured appendix, followed by a two day hospital stay was handled with ease. Dr. Ballard and staff were so caring and supportive, especially when I needed it the most. Thank you for all that you do! I would recommend Fox Valley Surgical to anyone in the Fox Valley looking for exceptional care.

Very disappointed, my appointment was 5 minutes of dr. Alexender w Wilkes telling me he was not going to help me as my bmi was too high.for this i was charged 20 dollars and my insurance was billed alot more im sure. Do not bother with this place if you are overweight they will not help you.

I had to go in for gallbladder surgery, my one hour surgery ended up being a 3 hour surgery because my gallbladder was so distorted, my surgeon told me he hadnt seen one that bad in 10 years. I am Thankful that I had the doctors and the team I had. They all took very good care of me durring my 3 day stay. I feel blessed to have been in their care.

Dr. Janu and his staff were excellent. They were personal and professional. He took extra steps to make sure the diagnosis was correct and to find the best procedure to fix my situation. I was always treated as an individual involved in my own health care, not just another patient. The procedures he performed were flawless. Both Dr Janu and his assistant Allyssa went above and beyond to care for my physical and emotional needs. They are simple the best. If you have issues with your esophagus or stomach, you must see Dr. Janu and his staff.

I owe the past fifteen years of my life to Fox Valley Surgical Associates and Dr. Klingbeil (RIP) They have enabled me to see my two daughters married, welcome two wonderful grandaughters and continue my love of gardening. I have had to call on them a few times in the past years and they always came through for me. I was never anxious about making an appointment because I have always received the most courteous, professional help from everyone from making the appointment to my follow up. I will be forever grateful to Fox Valley Surgical Associates and have highly recommended them to my friends.

My Doctor and Surgeon was excellent and treated like a queen! Dr. Mitchell was kind and caring! She answered all my questions! I had a very positive outcome. Dr. Malik has also been excellent!

Referred to FVSA by genetic counselor. Have been receiving care for about three years there. Very pleased with the care I received from Dr Bermas and the whole staff at FVSA. From surgery to office visits, the treatment plan and care have been exceptional. The whole team is extremely friendly!!

First of all my reason for given this such a high rating , to my way of thinking the doctor and the staff at this Surgical Associates should be getting a much higher rating then this . I as lucky enough to have Dr. Ballard as my doctor, and he and his staff when the extra mile to make sure everything was done right the first time. I would not hesitate one moment to have my family or friends go to this Surgical Association , I have nothing but the highest respect for this doctor and the staff there . GOD BLESS you all.

Dr. Mitchell was awesome. The procedure went smoothly. The entire staff at FVSA was great to work with.

Dr was very good at fully explaining the procedure but most important what to expect after. I dont know if I was the rare case but my after surgery pain was minimal and never finished using all the pain meds. The staff was great working with my schedule to come up with a time that worked. Good communication on all the follow up calls for the pre surgery procedure.

I received excellent care from the Interventional Radiology staff. My procedure was explained thoroughly to me. Questions were answered. The staff was friendly and prompt.

The doctors here are the best and the staff and nurses are exceptional. Very friendly and they will tell you everything you need to know about your surgery and the after care. I would not go anywhere else.

I want to thank FVSA for the extraordinary medical care I received from Dr. Bermas when treating my breast cancer. From my diagnosis, through surgery and follow-up appointments, Dr. Bermas explained clearly what the cancer was, what my treatment options were and provided the most current treatment information. I felt that she was beside me every step of the way! She and her staff were kind and professional and I am convinced that I am successfully 5 years out from my cancer diagnosis because of her expertise.

I had an appendectomy and my recovery was exactly as they described it would be. Dr. Cheng performed the procedure and the whole process went smoothly - at least the part that I was awake for.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Janeil Mitchell for my hyperparathyroid surgery last July, 2019. She was thorough, kind, and knowledgeable, plus compassionate and caring and very qualified.

In March I had an acute gall bladder attack resulting trip to ThedaCare Emergency Room where they discovered I had a 3.6 cm gall stone. The Emergency Room provided excellent service and support and after two hours the attack stopped. They suggested I meet with Dr. Alexander Wilks, Fox Valley Associates, to discuss surgery. Dr. Wilks did an outstanding job explaining the pros and cons for gall bladder removal. Since I currently had no pain, the surgery was identified as ELECTIVE SURGERY and had to be postponed. The surgery was performed two months later by Dr. Wilks. He and his staff did an exemplary surgical job.I arrived at ThedaCare Outpatient Surgery at 8:30 am and was home by 1:00 pm. Other than the first night, I had little discomfort, taking only Tylenol for medication. I was able to play golf eight days later.

I had my Thyroid removed on 3-5-20 by Dr. Janeil Mitchell and I also conferred with Dr. Iftikhar Malik. Both doctors were recommend by to me by Dr. Michael Black. After the biopsy of my Thyroid the surgery to be done was fully explained along with the need to completely remove my Thyroid. I was completely at ease having the surgery. I was totally impressed with AMC surgical staff. My hospital stay was excellent.The nursing staff at AMC prior to and after my surgery were wonderful. The followup with both doctors has been great. I cant thank them all enough and have recommended both Fox Valley Surgical, AMC and my doctors several times since then to friends with similar Thyroid problems.Thanks to all of you again.

The staff and doctor jason le are very knowledgeable and helpful. My surgery is scheduled for end of june and they have been there for me every step . I am very pleased with going to fox valley surgical association.

The customer service is horrific. I had issues after my surgery. No one will call me back. When I got my primary doctor involved he force them to schedule an appointment to see me which they cancelled after I left the doctor office. They scheduled lab work, they told me the wrong day then never called me back with results even after I left messages. My primary had to give me results and I still have yet to hear anything from them about plans to fix my issues after surgery. Horrible! My primary doctor said he will never refer a patient there again.

Theyre the best they took such good care of me and they are all so nice

The staff at Fox Valley Surgical Associates was friendly and helpful in a situation that was making me very anxious.The presurgery assessment and post surgery follow up were very professional, and answered all of my questions very well. I met Dr. Cheng briefly before my surgery. While he doesnt have the warmest bedside manner, he was very professional, and answered the few questions I had extremely well. I was very confident going in to surgery that I would be in good hands.

The after surgery help is sub par . They basically tell you to deal with a infection on your own . Yeah just put moist compress on it . Im not a doctor im not a nurse i dont have that stuff at my house . If your thinking about having surgery here i wouldnt suggest it . Go somewhere else unless you want to deal withe recovery by yourself. Really poor customer service. And if gets worse the will be a lawsuit.

The clinic uses medical assistants, to do nursing jobs! Things they are not qualified to do! I asked to speak with a nurse and they connect me with a medical assistant! They are doing phone triage with surgical patients which is a nurses job not a medical assistant.When speaking with the MA Julie I was cut off mid sentence every time I had a conversation with her! When I called because of a problem with my surgical site, Julie told me it shouldnt be this bad right now. She wont let me explain and said Ill tell the doctor and we may call back today or maybe tomorrow. But never got called back at all. Shes very unprofessional and made me feel like I shouldnt be talking or calling at all.

One of the worst and expensive experiences of my life. I needed a routine appendectomy which seemed to go fine. After 2 weeks I was still in a lot of pain and every time I moved it felt like I was being torn apart at the incision site. I called numerous times and Dr. Krieger would not see me and everyone at the office said if I am in pain to go to the hospital which I did and they told me I needed to see my surgeon because they weren’t the ones in there. My primary care Dr went to far as to make the appointment for me because I wasn’t getting anywhere with their office and Dr. Krieger proceeded to cancel that appointment and order a scan instead. I went in for the scan and she called me on the waiting room phone and said that there wasn’t anything on the scan so there was nothing she could do. I left in tears. My PCP said based on how the incision was puckered in and the feeling like I was being torn apart, it probably had something to do with how she stitched me up but they couldn’t say for sure. They worked with me on minimizing the pain (without narcotics because I didn’t want those) and we played the waiting game. Eventually there was a pop and the puckering went away and I felt better but what a nightmare. I’ve never felt worse. Not to mention I am now $5k in debt because of her refusing to actually see me and just ordering tests and sending me to the ER. Do NOT let this monster cut into you. I am the type of person who wanted to leave the hospital 8 hours after giving birth so recovery is not an issue for me. She did something wrong and refused to even see me. This was my first ever surgery and I am terrified of surgery now.

Although they saved my life with the surgery, I had no insurance because I was one month from qualifying for it at work I have been being garnished almost $400 a monthI have barely enough money for rent and utilities, I have struggled through this for over a year and now with Covid 19 it is so much worseI can’t believe Doctors would do this to me

My experience with Fox Valley Surgical Associates was filled with empathy, compassion, kindness and humor. Not only did the receptionist work really hard to get me in ASAP for a painful issue, but Dr. Black was amazing. He made a very uncomfortable situation tolerable with his authenticity and his humor. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Black.

Very Disappointed! My wife went in for a small hernia surgery in October 2016. Its only been 17 months and the hernia is back in the same spot. My wife called there this morning (3-22-18) to see if she can get it looked at & to see if the work is warrantied by the Doctor. Seeing that we spent about $4000 out of pocket for this. The lady over the phone this morning was very short and did not want to help look into this further. At this point my wife feels like she was taken for the money. The Doctor that preformed the work was Doctor Alexander Tretinyak. When spending this type of money, you want the work to last more than 17 months. We would like a call back to resolve this issue. It is now 12/27/18 and the Fox Valley Surgical Associates office has never called us back to discuss the issue. We have recently went to Doctor Hotchandant in Green Bay. The work done by Doctor Hotchandant and his staff was exceptional.
