This Dr. Was very Rude, didnt want to listen to anything I had to say, she wasnt happy when I told her no on having the vaccine and no I would not take the covid vaccine, she got a call on her personal cell and told me she had to take said call and that she would be back, she did not come back she sent her MA in to come tell me the appointment was over and that they would call me to schedule another appointment when their system was working again. If I could give zero stars I would. I dont recommend this doctor. Rude

At my 91 year old grandmas Dr appt yesterday we were bullied! This dr yelled at my grandma...yes she actually raised her voice, the Dr then threatened me about making a report to ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES and get her committed to a convalescent home. My grandma did not deserve this as she is full of smart spunk and very strong. How can these Drs get away with doing this?

This Dr is a bully! She shamed and bullied my grandmother trying to get her to accept the covid vaccine. When my grandma refused, the Dr was angry and stated a report would be made to ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES concerning the health , wellbeing and safety of my grandma in her home. She also told me that she reccomends my grandma be put in a home.APS showed up at grandmas house today. We wont be going back to Dr Petrus.

Very Rude doctor. She doesnt bother listening to anything I say. I left feeling worse than when I went in. Dont bother wasting your time or money

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Petrus. She was very helpful, professional and thorough. Her staff was efficient and friendly. I was seen immediately. Great experience, thank you!Update: Several visits after my first post and I have continued to receive top notch care from Dr. Petrus office. They always call the day before any appointments to verify that were still on and have also gotten me in quickly after calling to be seen on a urgent issue. Staff is great and Dr. is great too.

Do not go this Doctor. Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Very judgmental. Hard to understand with her accent. Long wait times. Mainly so rude and highly unprofessional. I would give this place 0 stars

Unprofessional and inept office staff!! After multiple phone calls over the last few weeks I have made zero progress. Today I made my fifth and final call to the office. Speaking to Jasmine (again) I find that I am still at Square One, having to repeat the same conversation I have had over the previous 4 phone calls. After voicing my frustration, Jasmine abruptly said she would cancel my upcoming appointment and hung up on me.

I have been going to Dr. Petrus for over 15 years. Her wait times can be unusually long, but I have never found her to be rushed during our visits. She is very thorough, to a fault at times for my preference. She remembers details about my personal life and family that I find commendable. Same day/week appts. are almost impossible to schedule. I truly believe she has my best interests as her priority, even when I dont have my own best interests at that same level.

I found Dr petrus by accident and now my whole family are patients. Shes fantastic I love the fact the she is very thorough and tells you the facts she is kind and gentle. Her staff is always kind and smiling. We are so happy to have her as are Dr

Dr. Dana is one of the best primary physicians I have seen. I have had many doctors over the years and she’s the only one to take me seriously and take her time with complete understanding! I give her 5000 stars

Excellent doctor! When I needed to be hospitalized for over a week with with double pneumonia, she was extremely detailed in all the testing she did. She took very good care of me, visiting every day with updates, even the nurses said they were surprised how often she saw her patients compared to other doctors.

Hard to understand her with her accent, but she listens and always has gotten me authorizationa to see the specialist I needed to see without any problems. My wife and I recommend her and have been taken care of.

This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I had a scheduled appointment and I had to wait almost 2 hours. All the nurses could say was that the doctor woke up late. She is the rudest doctor I ever met and she doesnt listen. It seems like she just cuts you off and will not let you explain anything. She made me very uncomfortable and she seems so uninterested. She prescribed a medication to me and didnt even tell me what it was for. I also think there is something very shady about this doctor. It seems as if she was over-billing my insurance. She was very quick to send me to labs and other diagnostic places which was a waste of time and money. It is the most difficult thing to even get a hold of the office. I called 15 times on separate days at multiple times and they would never answer. I wish I wouldve never gone here. STAY AWAY!!! She just sent my a bill from over 3 months ago the moment I changed insurance?? So suspicious.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!! Worst Doctor. Very rude. Bad attitude. Very judge mental . I did not feel welcomed at all!! The front desk made constant mistakes. The Doctor is always late. Your there for hours for a simple appointment. When you finally see the Doctor your rushed out . Doctor made accusation of having hepatitis?? because I had a tattoo.??Every visit the Doctor ordering excessive and unnecessary Lab Works?? . And referrals.Wack!!! Doctor and out of touch with her patients.It has been a year and I am still receiving doctor bills with dates I was never seen that need to be corrected. Instead I have received three sets of the same medical bills with amounts changing.?? Playing phone tag with the Doctors billing person Valerie that never answers the phone. Or calls you back.

I love this Dr! She is awesome. Shes so sweet and truly cares about helping the patient feel better. She makes sure she gets all the necessary testing done. I truly like the dr.

Was looking for a new doctor. Went to Dr. Petrus, was a bit suspicious when she had a form in her packet to sign that had me state that I would follow her instructions without question. Should have left then. I had an infection on my leg that needed treating so I stayed. She had me go for labs, and generally to all the right steps. A blood clot was found so I was admitted to hospital, again, no problem. Dr. recommended that I have a procedure. Turns out she also scheduled it and picked the doctor to do it. My wife was out of the country and wouldnt be back on the day she scheduled. She would have know that if she asked. Since I needed someone to drive me and keep an eye on me after the procedure, it was medically necessary that an adult be with me. When I told her that my wife would come to take me to the procedure, but could not be back by the day she scheduled. She walked out of my hospital room. I repeatedly called her office before and after discharge. No answer. Finally I arraigned to have the procedure done at a different hospital, not having much faith in the one she chose. After I was done I had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Petrus. Asked why her office failed to call me back she started yelling at my wife about how I couldnt follow instructions and that I should have done the procedure when she said. She basically threw a tantrum because, I wanted and needed my wife to be home. Then she fired me as a patient. Not that I would have continued seeing her. So if you want a three year old with a medical degree. Be sure and look her up.

She is not my personal doctor but I do take others to see her. She is very thorough. But she needs to work on being more personal with people in general. She seems to be very commanding and demanding.She talks to you with her back to you, not facing you and she can be hard to understand because of her accent. Would not be a good fit for me personally.

She is a very rude person, she is late most of the time and she is really hard to get a hold of. She doesn’t listen and she will continually cut you off while you’re trying to talk to her. Overall it has been a really bad experience and she is a very shady person when comes to charging you for your appointments, and she is really quick to prescribe medication which is concerning.

If I can give her no star I would. The Doctor she is very rude. If I were you I would definently stay a way from her and go somewhere else.

I do not recommend this doctor at all. All in one visit she said patience pregnancy test results out loud mistaking them for mine then she told me I was pregnant when I had a miscarriage and I told her that i thought i had a misscarrage. she has ordered medications I did not approve and now have to pay $49 for.I would not recommend this doctor at all if you want good health care she caused me more pain by telling me I was pregnant and to get off of my antidepressants then to actually take the time and see what was going on with me. Her staff is not any help either. Worst doctor in Apple Valley.

Had an appointment with her at 8:45 AM did not get seen until 1100 am. She prescribed me some medication and when I went to go pick it up the following day it did not go through. The best part was when I called her OFFICE they had me on hold for 20 min and then hung up on me. So I called back and when the nurse picked up she wanted to put me on hold. I said NO I WILL NOT WAIT and told her what happened. She said I needed to wait for the DR. I said NO thanks cancell my future appointment and medication I will be seeing another doctor who treats the patients with professional care lime DR Mikes lol.

Dr. Petrus doesnt seem to know what she is doing. I went to her with high blood pressure, and following her advice exactly (including losing 12 pounds in about 2 months), she took my high blood pressure to dangerously high in the first month, then adjusted my meds so my blood pressure dropped to dangerously low. Shes the most incompetent doctor I have ever seen.

Unprofessional inept staff, rude, unhelpful. Dr. Lacks of any social skills, unable to communicate effectively. Likes to make diagnoses without knowledge of previous treatment and diagnoses. If you have preexisting conditions, she has no interest, seems to have an agenda.

Ive dealt with a number of doctors and she is very good, thorough and will take the time to explain everything that is going on and everything she wants to test or prescribe.

Great doctor doesnt sugar coat it thats why she is my primary
