I was referred to Dr.chow by my primary for shoulder surgery (separated shoulder) from a dirt bike wreak. The staff is amazing the girls really do an awesome job the communication is outstanding, Dr.Chow is a straight shooter no BS tell it how it is which I love and his work is nothing short of extraordinary. 3 months after surgery Doc had me back to work ( Union Ironworker). Unfortunately had another dirt bike accident Last month and the Doc and his staff are once again delivering excellent service and work this time on the knee.I Highly recommend Dr.Chow, I’ve definitely found my surgeon. Thanks Doc

I was referred to Dr Chow by my primary care physician for a trigger finger. From my very first appointment the staff was awesome, friendly and very helpful. I never had to wait anymore than 10 minutes. Dr Chow was amazing. He has a wonderful since of humor and is very knowledgeable. When I had to have a chest x-ray for my surgery he found a mass in my lung. Not every Dr would have followed up on it but Dr Chow doesnt just treat my hand but my whole self. He immediately contacted my primary Dr and probably saved my life. He is a fantastic Dr. I would highly recommend him and his whole staff. Thanks to everyone at Ultimate Sports and Orthopedic! You guys are awesome!

I am writing a review on behalf of Dr. Stephen Chow, MD.I was referred to Dr. Chow on or about September of this year 2019. He has been seen me for both of my upper extremities. I am really please with Dr. Chow, since he really has been concern about my health issues and willing to help me to get better. I will go under different surgeries with him and I will say that he is a great doctor. Other doctors have only treated me with medication to treat the pain but not the cause. I highly recommend Dr. Stephen Chow as an Orthopedic doctor to who ever need treatment for this issue. You can go to any medical provider, the difference is the doctor!Argentina Benavides-Salas

Dr. Chow was amazing from my first appointment. He explained every detail from the get go with both of my carpal tunnel release surgeries. I had great experiences with both surgeries and never did I once spend most of my time in the waiting room which is unheard of in todays day and age. He and his staff are on top of their game with appointment time, authorizations, explanations of procedures, and what to expect before, during, and after surgery. Dr. Chow gave me my hands back. I am thankful he was able to get rid of my pain and protect my nerves for the future.

I went in to see doctor Chow and just as all the other negative comments on here about him, He talks over you, does not listen, is disrespectful by talking to you in a condescending way. My experience coincides with everyone elses that went through the same thing. This is a recurring issue, I am obviously not the 1st one that has experienced this.

I recently fell injuring my left knee. Dr Stephen Chow came highly recommended by patients I had x-rayed. The first quality that surface was Dr Chows ability to give me his full attention. I expressed my concerns and expectations. Dr Chow explained the MRI report and offered multiple options to resolve the problems. An arthoscopy was my choice. Dr Chow was explicit regarding the recovery. The procedure was beautifully done and the recovery was so much better than I anticipated. Dr Stephen Chow would be my first choice for any future orthopedic issues. At this time I would like to mention how professional and accommodating the staff was, thank you.

I would first like to say what an amazing staff ultimate sports and orthopedics employs. The staff is friendly, courteous, patient beyond belief and all are an absolute pleasure to deal with. I do not have the words to thank Dr Chow for his care. I am grateful every day to have him as my doctor. Because of his expertise and his desire to g me the best care possible, I have been diagnosed with a genetic condition that had never been caught I am now walking better than I have in over twenty years, which has truly given me such a gift. Dr. Chow took the time to explore many options to improve not only my health but overall quality of life. He looked beyond, what my whole life has been a misdiagnosis, sent me to the right experts for proper evaluation, and I finally have a name for my condition and some great treatment options to help me live with it. Because of Dr. Chow I feel better than I have in many years. Stephen Chow is a kind, honest man who cares about his patients and I am very proud and grateful to have him as my doctor.

Only come here if you have ALL day to waste. Dr. Ridix is a good Dr. But scheduling needs work. You sign in and wait an hour and a half before you get called back . Then you wait another 20-30 minutes to actually see the doctor . They need to work on their time management skills.

I saw Dr Stephen Chow for an exam for a possible hip replacement. I paid $375 for an x-ray and five minutes of consultation that was in effect cant help you, so someplace else. When I contacted the office to ask for a partial refund, he claimed that he had given me a full exam - this guy must be real good because he accomplished that without even touching me once.I asked the office to consult with the other doctors in the office, one of them Dr. Paul Stanton, and talk sense in Dr. Chow but did not get a reply, so I have to assume that they are all agree with this type of rip-off.

I had surgery today 4/22/19 on my left knee, and I must say that I was very pleased with Dr. Redix, he is not only an excellent doctor but an excellent surgeon. He went to the waiting room to inform my Sister of how the surgery went and my Sister told me how compassionate and caring he was. My Sister and I cant stress enough how wonderful Dr. Redix is. I gave him a 10 plus as the highest rate and he should be promoted. Thank you so much Dr. Redix.

Dr Redix is worst Dr. Ever. I had many unnecessary appts, I was misinformed numerous times. My knee is 100 times worse than it was before I went to see him. I wouldnt refer my worst enemy to him. I have heard good things about Dr Chow in the same office, but whatever you do DONT go to Dr. Redix.

Earlier in the year I underwent surgery on my knee from Dr. Redix. It seemed everything was healing alright post surgery and when he cleared me back to work (despite after repeatedly telling him I still have problems) tweaked it and had a scare. I wanted to go to my doctor see if I should be worried. Well, I never got the chance to see him since it happened at work. They have refused to see me and claimed it was a new problem even though it was on the SAME knee they worked on and refused to see me and treat me.

As a 21 yr Navy Veteran/Physician Asstistant now retired who specialized in Combat Trauma/Sports Medicine, this was the worse experience I have ever had in dealing with an orthopedic surgeon. My son had a broken finger at the PIP joint (knuckle) and we decide to take him to the Ultimate Sports Clinic and he happened to see DR. Redix. My wife took my son to the initial appointment and as soon as the Dr. Redix walked in, he flicked my son in the nose with his finger as part of his introduction. I guess he thought he was being funny but he is a large man and it hurt my son. His demeanor is nothing pleasant to say the least. No chair side manners what so ever. My son required a cast for his fractured hand and the Doctor explained to his tech on how to splint it. The tech decided to splint it how she wanted to do it which was completely wrong. My sons cast even slide off several weeks later and his finger healed with an angular deformity. I accompanied my son on his follow up visit and when I tried to talk to him about all this, he didn’t want to hear any of it and was completely rude. I finally had to raise my voice and tell him that he needed to listen to me. After explaining my medical back ground and experience, he began to listen after he realized I knew what I was talking about but he acted totally unprofessional rolling his eyes at me. I grabbed my son and walked out. I did not schedule a follow up appointment and will never go back to this place ever.!

On Feb 11th 2014 I went in for rotator cuff repair. During surgery they found I also had muscle damage in my shoulder. They to make extra cuts to repair muscle. Dr Chow said this was kitchen sink surgery. Which means he had to do everything he knew to fix me up. It was a very painful recovery which lasted 9 months for final release. During my rehab Dr was very careful as to the degree of rehab they could do .Thanks to Dr chow and his great skills I can say my shoulder feels great and I am back to golfing and most chores I want to do. I would greatly recommend Ultimate sports to all my friends

If you expect your doctor to be thorough, to take the time to explain the diagnosis, and to make an attempt at civility, AVOID Dr. Chow. He talked over me when I tried to give details about my knee pain and made little eye contact. After a five minute exam, he started writing a referral for physical therapy. When I asked for a bit more explanation of where my knife-like pain was coming from, he rapidly shot a bunch of medical jargon at me, interspersed with OK?...OK? He came off as very agitated and unprofessional.Im not an idiot -- Im a Johns Hopkins grad student with a background in clinical research, and I still couldnt tell you what he said aside from Im referring you to physical therapy, but it might not do anything. For all I know, his diagnosis may be spot on, but I cant trust it until I get a second opinion.(Oh! He DID see some sort of lesion on my MRI, which he quickly described as a benign something or other, but by then, I knew better than to ask for any further detail.)I would honestly rank this as the worst MD appointment Ive ever had.

Worst experience ever! I could barely walk out of the office, and I ended up in the ER the next day due to the fact that Dr. Redix was completely careless and misdiagnosed what was wrong with my foot. He gave me a shot in my foot and aggravated it even worse then what I came in for.

Terrible. Run away fast from this place. After over a month of waiting for the appointment, it was cancelled and rescheduled with covering my Dr. Stanton. 1 day before that appointment (after 5pm) I was told my office manager Kathy that Dr. Stanton is refusing to see me and that I will have to wait until the other doctor gets back. Long story short I continue to get mixed messages until Dr Stanton agrees to see me. I go in and wait 2 hours to be seen. Then write before MD comes in Kathy says he is just seeing you for a work note but not evaluating me. Tell that to the doctor- he sees me with a big smile, evaluates me, expresses his diagnosis, validates that Im in pain. and gives me a Rx for ketoprohen cream which he was giving everyone that day. So now I guess we are good...guess again. He walks out of the room and never comes back.I needed refills that were long over due but was meant with an I will ask him and I will call you back by the office manager. No call that day, or next day so I call and am met with hang ups, incredibly long holds, failed promises to return my call and a bad recommendations for over the counter meds (tried and failed in medical chart). At the end of the next day(day 3) Im basically told off and told to go the the ER for any medical treatment. So with this I requested my medical records- cant wait to see there rationale for what they did on paper-All I know I recording dont lie. If I could post what they said I would.Save yourself and loved ones and dont go here- also if you have been here and experienced this let the BBB and medical licsencing know- what they do is not okay.PS-They also violate HIPAA- they gave out my info without written consent and did not give me the notice of privacy practices. They also leave your name and address on check in board so only leave info you want anyone to know.No wonder why that Dr. Stanton has low ratings.
