1st time, like all the wipe down stations, few with mask but at this time enough space to move around. Smaller then the pictures but enough equipment to keep you healthy.

This gym is extremely clean. The have sanitation stations for cleaning the machines throughout. This is very important to me with COVID numbers going up.Machines/equipment are in very good condition.Lost of free weights!!!

Best gym hands down. Forget taking a tour. Just sign up, get in there, and enjoy your workout. You wont regret it.

Good place great staffing personalized from the start. I was impressed with the manager and their program including strategic workouts in all my fitness needs.Tech friendly everything is accessible from home with an assume message available. As I spoke to a young lady at the desk this week I discovered where the best machines are after engaging core strength for three months and getting increased bulk around the arms. Adding 15lbs since joining.

Very nice and understanding staff, had a bit of a bad temper towards them about the balance due, but they remained calm. I can say they handled the situation very well, I apologized to them for getting upset. They’re only human and I should of treated them better.

It’s very clean, wide open, cool temperature inside (very important for me) and tons of all kinds of work out machines. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I’ve really enjoyed going to Planet Fitness for many years and so glad to be going back there again.

This gym is AMAZING, totally with the strong personal training. Love the people love the coaches. I come in 5 times a week and always look forward to a smoothie.

The staff are very nice and the equipment well maintained. However, the rule that people may exercise without masks is ridiculous, as people who are exercising are breathing heavily.

Requested to cancel our memberships and even spoke with the GM of the Apopka location. He did not cancel my membership every since August. All of a sudden I started getting multiple charges from Planet fitness. GM had the nerves to tell me that he cannot refund my money because he does not remember the conversation. I am not responsible for his memory. Especially when I have proof that the conversation exists. This was definitely a shady business move in the midst of a pandemic. I will never do business with Planet Fitness again!!!!!

So I’ve been going to this gym for about a year. Always a pleasant experience with the usual manager Jason. Tonight however Steve (assistant manager) who is filling in for Jason while on vacation and also training a new assistant manager, is unbelievably rude and unprofessional and does not deserve the title of manager. When walking in I was on the phone with my sister, who does not live in the state and just lost her father in law. So she was calling me after the funeral to help her get through this difficult time in her life. When I approached the counter (with my mask on) I said “hey can you please enter my phone number for me”. Steve then looked at me with an annoyed look on his face and said “you need to use the mobile app to check in” as he was standing directly in front of a computer and already had to type in my husbands phone number as he was my guest tonight. To think customer service is one of the main things you strive to excel in as a manager and want your employees to reflect constantly with every customer interaction, this encounter was straight disappointment. Whoever trained Steve or gave him assistant manager position in the first place needs to put him back on training. I choose to go to this gym, but if this is how I will be treated when asked for a simple favor of entering my phone number to be checked in I will cancel my membership and advise my friends and family too as well

Do not sign up for planet fitness.I had to move a few months again and I have had a whirlwind of a time trying to cancel I have spoken to multiple people to try and get this canceled or have my club moved to my new location. Now I have called 15 times today and no one has answered I cant submit a request form for a call back. Nothing. This is ridiculous I have tried to send mail to cancel and other never seems to get there I have tried to cancel multiple times in the last few months.

The training is outstanding.

Everyone is extremely cleanly for the most part and considerate of others during these crazy times. Employees stock cleaning stations as needed and Ive never had to ask them to do anything, its already done. Staff are very friendly and enforce mask regulations well. Good gym to go to.

I love planet fitness! The Apopka location is just minutes from my house in Errol Estates. They have remodeled what was already a great gym and made it even better. There is now plenty of room and extra equipment to use. The staff is always very friendly, especially at 5am when I am usually getting there. Great price for membership too!

Just joined again for the first time since the expansion, its so open with so many options. The amenities are extremely nice and all the workers have been great.

Its clean, theres no pressure, and there are a variety of machines to keep my workout different each time.

I really enjoy this new and improved Planet Fitness. I come very early and Erica is so welcoming. The equipment is clean and well kept. The staff does a wonderful job of keeping people encouraged. Love it!

Everyone is so friendly. Im talking about employees and patrons. Easy to strike up a conversation with them if theyre not wearing earbuds. Naturally Im speaking of the customers. The establishment is very clean and doesnt smell at all. Thats a bonus for me. Equipment is always working properly. Locker room is clean also. Plenty of stuff to get your sweat dripping and your muscles sore and mad at you. I picked the right fitness center to join. Thank you.

This is the nicest pf I have found. They have the quality equipment, a set of locker rooms, free classes, and its the best value without going to a club that has pools and all sorts of things people wont typically use.

Well its been like two weeks since I joined.I typically go when not too many people are there, which is very important cause this gym is very small right now. They are expandingStaff is friendly and they definitely keep it clean.Most people are polite there too.You can definitely get a good workout here. Since its so small you definitely need to plan what youre doing.

First time back since March 2020. This is a very clean gym, they observe social distancing, and I will continue to come here for a workout.

The staff is overall very friendly and helpful but the manager goes out of her way to be rude and cause problems. The situation was handled poorly so I ended up canceling my membership. Would not recommend this location.

The manager with short red hair is extremely rude. I have attended this club for the last three years. I’ve anxiously awaited the remodel facility, and I love it. But sadly don’t go as often as I would like because I dread seeing her she is rude and I feel she constantly tries to make issues with me when I am there.It’s horrible

Good gym with a very chill atmosphere. No meatheads slamming weights or grunting all over the place.

I have a black card and have been to quite a few locations- this location is quite small and cramped. It has a very awkward set up. Although the staff seemed nice when the greeted you it was too many of them in such a small space. There were 5 staff members standing there all talking and kidding around glaring at the younger, nicer looking members and it made me feel uncomfortable. It might not have bothered me so much but you couldnt help but notice in such a small place. They are doing construction next door maybe they are expanding-- they definitely need to!

The staff at Apopka Planet Fitness are amazing! I enjoy the workout and the cleanliness of the facility. Mattie is organized and is great as a manager. Shawn is a great trainer and extremely well mannered. Shawn has great phone skills also. The entire staff is professional and polite.

I really like planet fitness. This location is undergoing some renovations right now so there is some construction but at the times I go out is not a problem.

Remodeled gym is great with much more room for busy times of day.

Customer service is great,variety of equipment however didnt get to talk part in aerobics class as the one attend was carrying out expansion work

Corporate policies are garbage. They won’t cancel membership unless you send them a letter, not even an email even though this is 2020. Won’t refund and will continue to charge at risk people that can’t go to the gym due to Covid. Talk about a terrible company. Avoid at all cost, do not sign up.

Manager with short red hair was completely rude to my husband and I when going in today. My husband and I are from out of state and didn’t bring our PF membership card and she was upset that she had to look us up in the other machine. Afterwards, she told us that in order to save her time next time, we should download the PF app or take a picture of the card. The people get paid to work there and my husband and I pay a membership fee. It takes her less than a minute to look us up in her system, I don’t really see a problem there. It sounds to me like she was just being lazy. She could have politely made a suggestion but instead chose to speak down to us because we didn’t have our cards with us. After thirty minutes of working out in the treadmill and elliptical, we decide to go to the thirty minute workout section. After ten minutes of working out in that area, she approached me and was telling me that I was not using the correct machines. She also made a comment that I had not used the step squares in my workout. IM LIKE OKAY?! How are you going to tell me what to do and not only that but not be mindful of the people who have severe health issues with there legs. After she made that comment to me, she proceeded to tell the gentleman in front of me the same thing to which he responded that he has a torn ACL and was not able to use the step squares. After she had walked away, the gentleman approached me and told me she had no right to tell us what machine we had to use. The manager then proceeded to have an employee watch us while in the area. My husband and I will not be returning to this location and will be joining another gym. Get better management PF.

No free weights unless you use Dumbbells for everything and that only goes to like 80lbs. There is only one of each dumbbell and like three benches. Three smith machines that are usually taken. Oh and if you use Dumbbells dont let them hit the ground or you will be threatened to be kicked out. It is small and usually smells like nasty sweat. Bathrooms are very gross and gym area is pretty dirty. It feels like staff is always looking at you to see if you are going to make noise. Its just not a fun place to workout and not many options to change up your workouts. You will getReal bored with the same limited equipment day in day out. Manager has attitude and doesnt seem to really care. The mount Dora golds gym is 9 miles up the road and they usually have a special for around $10 dollars. They have equipment for days never get bored and bathroom amenities for days and always smell good and clean. The difference for the money is night and day. This planet fitness is nasty. Sorry but its the truth. Go visit it if you dont believe it.

Very clean I love it

I have been a planet fitness member in the past, at a different location in Massachusetts. This is by far the best planet fitness I have visited. The staff are friendly, its very clean, the tanning booths and relaxation room are well kept and up to date, and the free personal trainer who I met with seemed very committed and knowledgeable and spent a good amount of time going over my personal goals as well as showing me how the machines work. I will definitely be recommending planet fitness of apopka Florida to anyone seeking a new gym. Plus the membership fees are super affordable!

I understand they are renovating which it needs the gym was always small but I noticed the equipment was all cramped together so when I was done working out I wanted to take a shower and it seems that the ladies restroom is pretty dirty especially in the womens shower area very gross the restrooms are also dirty and always have a smell and please dont ask me to go to management because I did and got nowhere when the place is done hopefully it will be allot cleaner or I will have to leave Im not Happy Vivian

The workers have nothing else better to do than harass paying customers about dropping weights, talking on your phone, or setting a bag in the corner while you workout. They removed the free weight bench and forget about working out on whatever machine you want during peak time because there arent many machines. I guess you get what you pay for because thats the only good thing about this gym.

Very friendly staff! Clean equipment. The only reason for 4 out of five stars is simply over crowding during peak hours. This place can get crazy busy if you attend after work until around 9 p.m. My advice is to go later at night or early morning to get less crowding. To be real, I cant fault PF for this. Its a prime location and a great price.

The one in Apopka Florida is ridiculous! I went in asking about free pass or military discounts and the girl was only interested in getting me to sign up....she wasnt listening to what I was telling her that I was in town for a few days. I dont need to purchase a monthly plan!!
