Nice big fitness facility. Lots of classes. They have a pool sauna steam room basketball court pool and more. The turf area is a nice touch. Not all gyms have lifting platforms but this one has one. Anthony the GM is professional and to work with. The membership cost is a good value.

Nice new facility with a good variety of machines. Their class schedule could be better, but I think it will once they rebound from 2020. I really enjoy their Body Pump class. I have not used the locker room or pool much at all so I can’t comment on those. The only issue is they are constantly running out of paper towels and sanitizing bottles at convenient locations. They have them, but you may have to walk all the way across the gym floor to find it. It varies by day to day though so could just be a certain shift that is dropping the ball. The staff has always been very helpful although you do get slightly different information depending on who you talk to about pricing and plans. Mia at the front desk has always been very cheerful and helpful though! I will renew my membership here because it’s a very convenient location and has all the amenities I need.

Great location. Has all the equipment you would need and is very clean. Only reason they didnt get a 5 is because they dont carry weight lifting gloves and some other essentials in their retail area.

The curly blonde is very rude and unprofessional. I understand being late because stuff does happen but the tone of her voice when inconveniencing customers is uncalled for. Maybe I will consider giving my money to a gym who is actually open 24 hours just because of this instance.

Ive been going to 24hrs for 3 consecutive years. They are very professional, from lights to equipmrnt quality love it all. They have great consistent customer service across all locations I have visited. 24hrs fitness has provided the means for me to improve my fitness, I would recommend this Gym to whoever is seriously trying to make a change in their life. One more thing to mention is that besides equipment and staff, colors used inside of facility play part of your mood, they use light colors, other gyms with purple or dar colors make me feel kind of moody when working out. Anyways I hope this helps the next person looking for a Gym.

Decent gym when Im visiting family in Altamonte. Could definitely use more equipment but they have a decent selection of weight lifting stuff and cardio machines.

Everyone writing a bad review because of TIKTOK LOL. It was ONLY 20 min!!!!! People are acting like they were NEVER late before.

They charge $40 a month but still do not offer many machines or the sauna and steam room to be used. The spa cannot be used only the pool. And they close at 9pm. For what they charge monthly you can literally go anywhere else and have a better experience. Even with gyms allowed to operate normally they insist on keeping many things closed. My biggest thing is how is your name “24 hour fitness” and you close before every other gym in the area.

Waited 20 minutes for the gym to open and employee was rude and told me to go to another gym. No apology and continued to be rude.

Today I spoke with an associate on the phone named Christian to express a grievance I had with the organization. I asked to speak to manager in which he responded “why, they are just going to tell you what I told you.” While this May be a true statement this along with his combative over the phone demeanor and lack of interest in providing quality customer service was a the best approach. After informing I did not want to go back and forth with him, please place a manager on the line. I spoke to Leo who as well provided poor customer service and at the end of my call I could here him laughing with Christian as I hung up. While there may not have been anything they could do about my issue they could have delivered their message more professionally and with better customer service. After all, a company that is filing bankruptcy your best strategy is to keep your loyal customers and provide the best customer service to attain more. I would not recommend this gym or organization, take your hard earned money to gym who values their customers.

Front desk reception shows zero professionalism. Cleanliness is questionable; encountered an employee who used the bathroom and didnt bother washing his hands after.

The facility is large, clean, and the staff friendly and welcoming. Has all the amenities one could want in a gym facility.

24 Fit is the best. All the guys at the entrance are cool. Large club with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.

Been working out here for over 2 years. Price is steep, but I feel like you get a lot of amenities for what your paying for. Place can get quite busy during the afternoon but generally isnt an issue during the day. Plenty of equipment, but could use a few more popular machines (i.e. quad extension/hamstring curl/Smith machine, etc.) My main criticism is that they need more sanitation stations. The few they have are frequently empty. Critical in this day in age. The child care center is good but they are frequently understaffed. They try their best to accommodate your kids though. Some are better than others but I cant complain too much. Also, they need more class-led spin classes. The virtual classes are a little lack luster. But otherwise, the equipment is new, the place is well maintained, and I havent had any issues with unfriendliness from the staff. Would recommend, with some minor reservations...

Best Gym all around for whatever exercise you’re looking to do. I love to swim and cycle, so having a 24 hour pool and cycle room to use is extremely beneficial for my schedule. Coming from LA Fitness it’s been night and day. With my highest recommendation, please do yourself a favor and take a spin class with Amelia! I have managed to lose 40 pounds, taking her class weekly. Thanks Amelia for being so motivating and awesome!

Not open 24 hours, very misleading.

To make a long story short - 24 Hour Fitness has the nicest facility in the area. Sadly, the company is run by people with their heads up their rear ends. They have done nothing but drag their feet through the whole pandemic, making a bunch of changes that benefit THEM, under the guise of responding to COVID. Let’s be real- they have trimmed down operations in the interest of cutting expenses, not to protect the members. This is not a 24 hour gym, in fact, they close earlier than the other gyms in the area. The hot tub and sauna are STILL closed, despite all restrictions having been lifted for over six months. Classes are shut down. Here is the real kicker- despite the fact that they are a shell of the gym they once were, they are actually RAISING rates. Imagine that. My goal is not necessarily to bash this club, just providing an honest review.

This facility is not safe. Instructors and members are not wearing masks and not social distancing. Management is not concerned about member safety during this pandemic.

So far so good. Liking the staff, the equipment, the class offerings, etc. The gym is clean. Whirlpool, sauna, steam room, pool, and locker rooms are always clean. Kids care has been great. The ladies are wonderful with my kids. The membership reps were very helpful and not pushy at all. My mother did her silver sneakers free PT session and raved about her trainer. Only thing that sucks is theres a time limit on the daycare! Cuts my workout/recovery back but thats life as a mama. I highly recommend this gym.

All the bad reviews i see it is because they want free pass or they need some love. When i go to the gym i dont need nobody talking to me. ( Customer service for what!!??) What i need is a clean place and good equipment the rest i dont care. People are to sensitive and emotional thats why Robots are Replacing people!!!

Cant beat a team that is always supportive. Even for those of us who are new to the gym scene. All-inclusive classes, upbeat teachers, and every one of them have given basic class routines plus alternative moves for newbies and advanced members. I always feel welcome.

My job has a corporate account with 24 Hour Fitness, I decided to give it a try before I signed up. I signed up for the guest pass. The gym is 2mins from my home, which I bought a few months ago. When we moved in my husband and I took a tour of the gym. So today when I went they said I already had a guest pass in the past (which I didn’t) and that if I want to finish the other 2 days left on the guest pass I have to put a deposit down. I felt a lot of pressure from the sales guy. He mentioned how they lost other corporate accounts and if I put money down it would secure my membership rate. I think what angered me most was that I only took a tour in July, nothing else, but he insinuated that I was trying to cheat the system getting multiple passes. That alone is the reason I did not sign up. The facility is nice, but they are completely money driven. I work too hard for my money to have someone insult me and still try to collect my money. I see why they are loosing corporate accounts.

The gym itself is nice, but the sales rep sucked. I can definitely afford this place but LA Fitness will keep my business and will stay right where I am. The sales rep was extremely arrogant by stating he will give me a promotional 3 day pass for $10, and if by the end of 3 days I dont like it, they will refund my money. I didnt trust his words because there would be a contract involved. He soon realized that he couldnt pressure me into a contract and seemed annoyed. I left unbothered and will not be giving them my business. Im huge on customer service so they better clean up their customer service and attitudes toward any potential customers/clients.

This gym has horrible customer service. It was my first time going to this gym. I had a 7 day pass that I didn’t not utilize. When I walked in, I told the representative at the front desk that I do not have my id because it was lost, however, I have my passport. He told me that was fine. I go to my car and get it but when I returned another representative told me that they do not accept passport. However, he proceeds to tell me that he can still do the tour but I would have to pay to use it for the day. What sense does that make? So you mean to tell me that the difference between having a id and passportIs that I have to pay to use my 7 days pass. But of course I can do the tour. This place is a JOKE!! Then on top of that he tried to place blame on the overnight staff for giving me “false” information. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Been working out since high school. I always maintain one or two gym memberships. I was thinking about signing up so I started a free 7-Day trial. The guy wanted to talk my ear off during the tour which is fine, I took their survey, and the guy still wanted me to sit down and talk. He told me they cant just let anybody work out. Clearly he wasnt going to let me work out without joining first. I never sign up for a new gem without using it at least once

A very nice clean gym but as everyone has stated the sales rep do need to work on better customer service skills. From the first time I started going here a salesman Jason, gave me the wrong vibe (a little rude) and still does. It’s all about the money here and I wouldn’t mind taking my business else where.

As a newbie to the gym I couldnt be happier. The facility is clean and attractive. Plenty of machines. Very nice staff. My trainer Alyssa is fantastic. I love it there.

Is a really good place to go, but they been having some issues related to daycare, if I come 10 minutes before so I can have time to stretch and set up I will be rushed and will not be able to finish my class because my time is over. Also, if I come 5 minutes earlier I run the chance that its over capacity and I have to wait from 30 to 40 minutes for somebody to come and miss my class. If I cant be low on money please dont be low on staff. Apopka 24 hour fitness has a lot of mothers going into classes there is no chance that only one person can take care of more than 7 kids including babies. Last thing please put fans facing people in the cycling class, its too hot in there even with the AC on.. Other than that is a good place with really good teachers and classes ...

Absolutely love my experience at 24 hour fitness. The classes are so much fun and push me to a whole new level of working out!! Some my all star instructors are Pretty Ricky, Annette and Jessica! Huge shout out to them for kicking my butt in class and making it fun (well most of the time lol) to work out. So much to do and so much included in your membership. So 5+ stars is my rating. Come see for yourself!P.S.24hour please add Annette to the regular schedule of instructors. Preferably morning!! She is amazing!

Dont waste your time here. The people are rude and sarcastic. Over priced for all of the attitude you get. The women are too busy showing their asses in tight pants instead of helping you. The equipment is good, but Im not feeling this prices for all the nonsense. Most of the reviews are negative. I will take my business to LA FITNESS.

I am a busy person who can only go to the gym at 6:00 in the morning!I tried getting in at 6:00 for the 3 day pass to see how it will affect my route to work. The lady told us sorry we cant activate it. (It doesnt state anywhere on the activation about waiting till the whole morning to be able to get in... couldnt even let us try for the day regardless because its a free 3 day pass...)The lady told us that the salespeople has been cutting there house from early to late. I find that now helpful for people work a lot and dont have time to stop by after..

Staff fails horribly. Weights everywhere people sitting equipment using it for their office not working out for extended periods. Approached staff about it and was told to ask them to move instead of them doing their job. Save your money there better places to go.

First impressions matter...Im starting this place off with a 2 star rating because the gym is brand new and can use some major improvement with customers service/customer care. This is my experience, so far, with this facility.I stopped by around 2:45PM today (10/29/17) to tour the facility and sign up for a membership but as expected they were very busy - signing up new members. Being brand new and just opening I would have thought they would have had a much better system in place for the crowd they were about to take on. It was an absolute mess with people everywhere at the front desk. I was finally acknowledged after a few minutes and the girl told me it would be a while because all of the sales reps were signing new members up...I asked her if tours were available 24 hours. She told me yes, absolutely. So I told her I would come back later tonight when it would be less hectic.I returned around 9:45PM and it was certainly less hectic. I was greeted immediately by the receptionist and informed him that I had came earlier in the day and it was busy so I went home to sign up for a membership. I asked if I could get a tour of the facilities and he said sure, no problem. He completed my registration, took my fingerprint and told me I was good to go. I asked again for a tour of the gym. He told me it would be a minute because everyone was already touring others. I told him I wasnt in any hurry and would wait for a tour because I was uncomfortable lurking around the gym without knowing the layout. After waiting 5-10 minutes, a manager tells him they arent conducting anymore tours so the receptionist tells me Im welcome to return tomorrow for a tour but could go ahead browse the gym myself.I make my way to the locker room and put my stuff in a locker...then go hop on an elliptical machine. Im not even 5 min into my workout and I see the manager conducting a tour with a couple that was in plain street clothes...5 minutes later, a woman employee is conducting ANOTHER tour with another couple in street clothes...10 minutes later, another male employee is conducting another tour! I could not believe it. I felt like I was told they were not doing anymore tours because I had already signed up for a membership...so I no longer mattered. I witnessed 4 additional tours AFTER I was told they were not offering anymore tours for the night...so you can imagine how I felt as each group came by me.Theres a 3-day window to cancel this membership but Im going to give this facility a chance to change my mind about keeping it...First impressions do matter. So far, Im not impressed and was left feeling like they didnt care to spend 5 minutes with me because I had already signed up for a membership.I wonder if I had not signed up on my own, if they would have offered me a tour of the place???

Not a fan that there is no way to bring a guest, and that a day pass is 20-25 dollars. You would think that for $40-45 a month I would be able to bring somebody at least once, or at the very least have the day pass be way less expensive. What a shame. Great facility though.

All the senior fitness group classes are the BEST, with outstanding instructors. There are several to choose from, and I do all of them cause theyre fun, not like boring regular working out.

Zero stars from me , i work 5 min away and they will not give me a 3 days pass because my zip code in my ID was not from that area( was 10 miles away) they will not even show me the place because i was not going to sign up for sure....but they want me to sing up without even trying that gym , or pay 20 dollars for one day, then i when to LA fitness and got 4 days pass and a great customer service ,i do not recommend it

Sales associate was rude, told me I wasted his time after I told him I didn’t want a year membership. Told me also to just leave and get out in the end. After just wanting to see the gym and have a simple tour, the sale associate got extremely mad. All this place is looking for is sale right off the back, and if you don’t sign up after the tour I guess they don’t want you to come back. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this gym at all. Joined LA fitness after and was way more satisfied.

I cant stand this gym, not a good gym if you are looking to lift weights, Not enough equipment, just sad honestly...they are missing so much stuff...not to mention the staff lied to me about the equipment that they had. I would have never joined, going back to la Fitness, way better and cheaper.

I just relocated to the area and was unable to use a guest pass that I received through the online portal and my place of work because of my ID not being updated yet I had proof of residence for this area. This location/company is no longer serving employees in my district and I’m highly upset.

I have had several gym memberships and so far this is the best gym . the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. they keep the gym super clean which is a plus. been a member since they open the Apopka location

Didn’t even make it in to the gym before my first bad experience. I read a few reviews about Jason and he happened to be the first person to contact me by phone. I signed up for a 7 day trial pass and figured I’d stop in this week at some point to try it out, no real timeline or urgency. Jason tells me over the phone to come in today, I said I wasn’t planning on it, got an attitude, told me that he HAS to know when I’m coming because he needs to know the traffic for each day and monitor how many people are there. For a 24 hour gym. Laughable. Then said he put me down for Monday and if I “come in earlier” they’ll deal with it. Jason seems to be the one related piece in every review that’s negative. Won’t be joining.

Do not go to this Gym, Is full of thief that will break into lockers even with a lock on it and if for some reason you are at this gym make sure you use non combination-lock. I do not recommend this place there is no reason to pay for insecurity.

Gym needs many more paper towel dispensers....ESPN at least in the locker room instead of cooking shows etc. .....needs faster & easier check in ( fingerprint think is a pain)...the staff is super friendly & helpful

The air conditioning is to cold...if I was wanting to relax and watch TV, that would be fine....but when working out or training the air conditioning shouldnt be set so cold...almost all 24hr Fitness center are to cold it makes it hard to get a good pump😬😬😬😬

Out of the 3 locations near my home (Winter Park, Apopka, &Lake Mary) this location by far is my fav. The layout is not congested, the group class instructors are very informative & energetic, environment is clean and friendly. I signed up for my membership online and I suggest you do the same lol initially when they opened I received a tour and the calls/emails popped off. So I took my time and when I was ready to join I chose the online route. If you are not into sales persons or customer agents assisting you through the enrollment period avoid the negative reviews and sign up online. We Love this gym.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’m not the only only please read other comments about customer service and how the manager needs to work on that.The only good thing I have to say about this gym is that it looks nice and has new equipment. It is ALWAYS extremely busy, but that’s not really a big deal to me just something to keep in mind before you go visit.My warning to you is if you decide to sign up make sure you pay for what’s due at the moment and don’t let them tell you that you can pay on the following bill cycle for $10 down today. Because then you’ll be paying for 3 months all at once including your enrollment fee and that was not explained to us correctly a month ago. He said $10 down today and you won’t pay until March 16. We signed up. Paid our dues last Sunday then when we go this week they tell us we have a balance each for our first and last month plus enrollment. It makes no sense we just made a payment for the month right? The sales manager took us to sit down to try to explain it to us but honestly it seems like he didn’t even know what happened or how to explain it. I was asking him questions about how it would be that amount for both my fiancé and I since we had already made a payment for this month and his answer to me was “did you take pre workout or something” and my answer was yes I we paid our dues last Sunday so I expected to come in and workout not sit down and talk about money. I just found him very rude and wasn’t very sympathetic. My fiancé and I got a little frustrated with the situation that wasn’t being explained to us correctly so we wanted to cancel. He started clicking on his computer and didn’t say anything, I have previously worked at a gym so I had to ask “is there goin to be a fee?” He says “I’m not there yet.” I said “I understand but do you know if there will be a fee for canceling” he responds saying “yes, what ever is left on the contract (A WHOLE YEAR WE JUST SIGNED UP LAST MONTH) So I asked him “shouldn’t you let us know that before?” And his answer was that he still needed 5 more clicks to get there and then laughed at my question.We ended up paying for everything because we can see we are stuck in the contract and they aren’t going to do their job correctly so I guess we will stay.Look I’m not trying to tell these people how to do their job but seriously it shouldn’t be that difficult and they should be a little more courteous when they make a mistake instead of trying to make their guests feel uncomfortable. Take responsibility and provide the best customer service.Oh! And now that I remember. About two weeks ago I asked the front desk agent if we could pay our dues early so it would not draft from the bank account (we ordered a new card in the mail) and the FDA said no you have to wait because if I pay now it will still draft from the bank account - just found out yesterday from someone who actually knows that they are doing that we can pay ahead of time and they leave a note along with the payment on your gym account so there is no double payment.

I advise people not to join this Gym, I signed up for the no contract Plan and had to cancel my membership about a month after due to my job relocating me. I ask to cancel the membership and the Manager Yvanna Cruz basically beg me not to cancel my membership and to put my account on freeze, fast forward three months I got charged a $54 annual fee even though the manager had said there would not be any more charges. very dishonest people work here or very bad company policies.update: a manager contacted me after I posted this review and issue a full refund and apologized for the inconvenience.

I signed up last Monday. I was given a tour and signed up for a personal trainer; Yes, it is expensive about $60 per session but WORTH EVERY PENNY to someone in my position; starting from the beginning of the fitness level. I see these people complaining and its ridiculous; youre either serious about wanting to get fit or busy complaining. Seems there is no in between.

Genuinely not sure why this place has bad reviews. When I went in for a tour I had a good experience. It did feel a tad on the salesy side tword the end. I decided to sign up, Manny was really helpful in answering my questions and I feel really happy about the whole transaction, it was easy no bank account needed, put it on my credit card and did a finger print and bam done! My boyfriend was hesitant about signing up so he did a free 3 day trial. By the end of our work out he decided to sign up. They have GREAT amenities, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, basketball, turf and a lot of machines I have never seen at our previous gym planet fitness. So far I have not had any negative experiences, everyone is friendly and greets me when I come in to work out and all of the personal trainers also seem very nice. Me and my boyfriend are mid 20s and the vibe of this gym is perfect for us :)

The facility is nice the security is terrible. Several thefts from the locker room, I quit when I was the victim.

The sales people I dealt with were unprofessional and rude. When I told them I wasnt interested in joining but wanted to utilize my 30 day pass I received via email for taking a survey and after I used the gym I would decide. They didnt bother to give me a tour and the so called sales manager was just so arrogant and judmental and thinks that he is above others. I will keep going until the free pass is up and then will check out some other gyms to decide on where to go. I do not feel comfortable at this 24 hour fitness. Bad vibes from the sales staff and the for a new facility the lockers are broken already and it looks like the place is being mismanaged and will go down hill fast if issues are not rectified. Its not only about the sale and money. I can see this place will have to change and get a more consistent staff instead of sales agents that laugh and snicker at people and look down at people who they assume are wasting their time and cant afford it. A sales person that assumes this way is really bad at their job. I hope 24 hour fitness reads these reviews and trys to fix their issues here before this place turns into a run down dump and they lose alot of quality customers.

Locker room is very small. The steam room is not very hot. There is no pool attendant people are not taking showers before going in pool. This place is very unhealthy. People are walking around pool with shoe on dirt all over pool deck. All management is looking for are sales $$$$$$

Great gym and personal trainers!

Great gym with many amenities and friendly staff

Was a member for a year and did not renew for 2019. This gyms customer service is horrible! My wife tried to bring her sister for the 3 day free pass and they gave her attitude and didnt let her in. Personal trainers just sit back and talk with there buddies while other members obliviously need help. Horrible gym stay away

Very friendly professional!

There customer service team is all over the place i go into the club they tell me one thing about my account. then when i call the customer number they tell me another. then they tell me to freeze the acct its an extra 12 dollars for a membership i wont be using anymore because we are moving.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff sucks, bad. Theyre unattentive and clueless. Gym is a disappointment for something brand new.
