They love and take care of our pets like they are there own we feel very comfortable and confident our dogs get the best care they can get

I have been to several veterinary clinics/hospitals/offices and by far this is the best one!! Not only does this place boast a beautiful office and amenities for your fur babies to enjoy but the doctor and the whole staff are beautiful people inside and out. They treat your fur babies with so much love and respect that if it wasnt for their scrubs you wouldnt be able to tell who is the owner. Doctor Ortiz is amazing and I wouldnt want any other doctor caring for my babies. Thank you all for all you do!!!

Their customer service is excellent. Their treat with my Buddy is loving. They really care. The price is high but you get what you pay for.

I have been coming to Pets Paradise over 20 years. I have shared with Dr. Ortiz many joyful moments with my puppies and some difficult times when those puppies were too old and ready to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Each time I felt the loving, caring, kind and compassionate doctor that makes her unique. I will recommend her a million times and will continue to see her with my grand puppies! :)

Brought sons black lab in full check up. They were very thural. Facility is clean and organized. Everyone was pleasant and caring.

Was given misinformation about boarding and vaccines they are necessary. Brittany was telling me that my dogs need a influenza vaccine to get boarded. She told me the price for each dog is $38 and vaccine can be given at the day of drop off. She did not tell me another vaccine has to be given three weeks later and on top i have to pay $57 fee from the doctor. Luckely, I called back because I did have another question or I would end up the day of boarding g with a high bill or couldn’t board my dogs. The excuse from the office manager that Brittany is new and does not know all the office procedure. Why are people answering the phone when they don’t have a clue what they are doing

This is the best place to take your babies! The The Veterinarians and staff is so comforting and the facility is welcoming despite Covid. The service you get is AWESOME!!! The response time is speedy! The care they give your pets is as if they are family and known them forever. The follow-up calls in regards to after care to check on your babies is so heartwarming and how they make sure you are aware of issues by emailing articles to help keep you updated and in the loop of what is going on!Shayna Tarver

We have a very sick cat (kidney failure) and had to send her across the Rainbow Bridge. We spend a very emotional weekend and called on Monday for an appointment. We were allowed to be with her during her final breathes. The doctor and all those on staff were very sympathetic and comforting. I never expected anything after our visit. A few days later we received a sweet card signed by all the team from Pet Paradise. We will recommend Pet Paradise!

This place is the bomb!! The staff is absolutely wonderful. My puppy Trigger ate some small rocks and Dr. Ortiz took Trigger and did everything she possibly could for him. He had to go back 3 days in a row. The 2nd day Dr. Ortiz and a few members of her staff stayed over an hour past closing time to waiting for results from the radiologist. She actually sat in the waiting room with me...she never treated me like a dollar sign. She is very passionate about her job and genuinely loves her patients (the 4 legged ones lol) The reception girls were fantastic! Thank you for saving my fur babys life!!

We recently moved to the area from PA. We are so happy with our choice of Vet and boarding. All of our dogs have stayed here and were treated great. They were all seen by the Vet and were given detailed info on each.I came in today with Winnie and she was greeted by name by all the Vet techs. We are so happy with our choice of Vets!

Love this place! GiGi loves it here. She can always tell when we are near and gets excited. She has been coming here since she was a few weeks old and is just as happy each time as she was the first time. The doctor and staff always welcome her and are super informative. I would recommend this place over any other!!!

Always so friendly and accommodating. We have two dogs (13 years old and a 3 month old puppy) who we brought to this office after our move. The staff and doctors clearly love what they do and are full of helpful tips and recommendations for pets at every stage of life.

We just moved here and I was worried about changing vets. Dr. Ortiz and staff are amazing. She listens to you and doesn’t try to push a lot of things on you. She truly cares about your fur babies. So glad we found them.

I started coming here because of pet world where I got my free veterinary checkup. Ever since then I have fell in love. I have been to a few other vets from my other animals. And this one is by far the best in pet knowledgeable, customer service, and helpfulness. All the staff is very welcoming and always ready to help. If you have any pet I suggest highly. !!

Receptionists were accommodating and welcoming. The lobby was clean, nicely decorated, and does have a resort feeling. Doctor and assistant were super sweet and informative. Definitely a great first impression.

After going to River Oaks and getting the run around with pricing and services, and poor customer service, I decided to change vets after over 12 years and 2 dogs.I called Pet Paradise and made an appointment at 930, after further discussion I find out that Pet Paradise has purchased River Oaks.Waited an hour to be seen, told that I could pay half and then half in 60 days, have to return to pick up rabies tag, have to return with stool sample within 2 weeks cause they didnt get one, getting called because they didnt get a form signed and they need me to return with payment or give them a cc, go by to pay balance with Discover Card and told they dont accept it, went by to pay with check and drop off stool sample, they dont accept checks but was told incorrectly that they do accept Disciver, didnt have Discover on person, so I have to return with an acceptance from of payment to receive the rabies tag, as I am driving they call and they will accept a check just this one time.I need a veterinarian practice that cares for my dog and who cares about the pet owners time and experience!

The Dr and staff are so caring and kind. Worked to help my mother in law who has dementia understand everything. They were very patient with her

Absolutely wonderful!!! The entire staff was wonderful and the Dr was amazing!! I never once felt pressured even when she found a few things on my dog we were concerned with. Their boarding area looks amazing and I feel so relaxed knowing my dog will be in great hands while being boarded!! I won’t be going anywhere else again!

Lord, my dog was misbehaving so much and they all took so much patience with him. Debi Burke, the technician, told me she was fairly new, but she was so knowledgeable and patient, and was very loving to my dog. The doctor is very thorough with her examination and very helpful with all the solutions she offered. Honestly, this will become my main veterinary from now on.

This is my first visit to Pet Paradise and I am impressed with their friendliness. My dog Sydney possibly has Kennel cough and they have been taking every precaution for the welfare of the other animals. I don’t feel like they are rushing our visit but are doing their best work and handling Sydney with care.

Took my Puppy in for grooming and they had a new groomer, she gave her a full groom, when they gave my puppy back to me instead of being happy to come home she was shaking and hyper as if she was trying to get away from danger. When I finally got settle at home I started looking at the job the groomer did and saw that she was cut in several places, 3 times on the outside of the right ear and two times on the left ear, the groomer had used some sort of tool to cut the hair inside my dogs ears and the tool literally shaved the skin off the inside of her ears. The groomer used a shaver to cut the hair off the inside of my doggies neck and took the top layer of skin off with it. During the grooming my pet must of be squirming and straining to escape the brutality of the groomer resulting in a dime size hernia to happen. When I saw this I was wondering what other damage did the do, I began checking my dog very closely and found that they cut her on the stomach in 6 other places, on her back 3 places, on her butt 3 places. The worst and I mean the very worst thing the could possibly done is they changed the personality on my dog, she is afraid of my touch, though I have never hit her, she is afraid to even be around me and my wife, she is even afraid to walk around the house. I once had a loving female toy Maltese, then she was brutally abused at Pet Paradise in Apopka during her grooming, now my little precious Doggie will never be the same again.Signed VERY VERY UNHAPPY FORMER CUSTOMER.ANDY SPITERI

Best service! I have been to many and these folks bring service to a new level. They can deal with difficult animals, like mine who bites, and they still love on her anyway! They provide sedation for her haircuts thank goodness! Best place around for sure!

My bad review is only in regards to the Daycare because that is the only service we have used. We dropped off our dog and for some reason he hated it there. We thought it was just a phase or separation anxiety but apparently he rough housed too hard with the staff and they said he was aggressive. They told us not to bring him back until he has had training, we were flabbergasted! We needed to find a place to take care of him quickly and we found Bow Wow. They took him in and none of the behaviors he exhibited with Pet Paradise are there. I know people who personally love Pet Paradise but it was a terrible experience for us.

Ive known Dr.Ana for over 20 years.She has lovingly and with the Greatest of knowledge and expertise has guided me through the care of 7 dogs and a pet pig!! She IS undoubtedly the BEST vet!Her staff is warm and amazing as well!

I liked that the staff was friendly, answered any and all my questions. Very clear and flexible with treatments for my pet. Dr. Ortiz was amazing and I was very comfortable with her and her tech examining my cat. She did not pressure me into any treatments but explained why it would benefit my cat. Eric, the technician was gentle and caring. He did not hesitate to answer my questions about the treatment and medications no matter how many times I asked. I would definitely recommend Pet Paradise of Apopka to my friends and family.

Great people at the counter and great service. Our dog its not easy to handle and she used to get aggressive at her last vet office just as soon she figured out were she was. Here they love her and definitely know how to handle her ,she is not aggressive anymore at visits but its still a handful but they like her anyway.

I love the staff here. They remember us every time we come in and because I have a dog with anxiety, they take extra care to help her be more comfortable. Both my pups have received loving care from Dr. Ortiz and her staff as well as have enjoyed the boarding the hospital offers. I especially recommend Dr. Ortizs Chinese medicine veterinary services, I have seen firsthand the amazing results with not only one of my dogs but also many of her other clients. I truly feel she cares about each and every one of the pets she takes care of and the best part about our trips here is I never feel rushed and she takes the time to make sure you understand all options and can ask questions. I never feel like the staff is pressuring me to pay for services we dont actually need. I couldnt be more pleased. As a dog owner my whole life, I can honestly say Im happy we live close enough to have our animals be in Dr. Ortizs care.

Dra. Ortiz is the most caring and professional vet I ever meet. She has been in care of my Beba for about 8 years. Because I live like 40 minutes away from Pet Paradise I tried 2 different places close to my house: Mccabee Vet and Jauncy Vet, but the results were that I almost lost my baby because a bad practice in both places. This is the second time she save her life and I feel very grateful about it.

What can I say, Dr. Ortiz is beyond incredible and my family is blessed to have found her. My Tigger was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) and I was desperately finding a vet who would help him as he had become paralyzed in his rear legs. Several vets had told me surgery was the only option and that quality of life for my 10 year old dachshund was something to take into consideration when thinking of his treatment plan. This, as any of you can imagine, broke my family’s heart. But then we were referred to Dr. O by a great friend. Dr. O’s passion for what she does is phenomenal. Chinese Medicine has changed Tigger’s life! After just 2 acupuncture treatments Tigger began to gain control of his legs and was able to take a few steps at a time. Then after just 4-5 treatments he was walking!!! And now after roughly 8 treatments he is back too normal and is even running!! I could not be more grateful to have found Dr. O!

Today was my first time at pet paradise but my puppies second visit here. Our appointment was scheduled for 4:30, but I was called and told that I could come in early around 3:45, so that is what I did. I showed up at 3:45 with 4 kids (one a baby) and two 4 month old puppies. I was not called back to a room until 4:35, the tech only took the weight and temperature of one dog and then the Vet did not come in until 4:54. The baby was crying, the kids were beyond restless from being there so long, the dogs were nervous and fidgety, and I am told that she is sorry for the wait but she is the only vet. I had to tell her before she gave the second puppy his shot that he has not even been weighed or checked yet. My issues are these. 1) no one ever bothered to let me know she was running behind, not once. (A little courtesy goes a long way) 2) if she was running behind, why did they call me in 45 minutes early 3) Not only did they neglect to do the checks on puppy #2 before the vet came in, they also forgot to give him the dewormer that they charged me very well for and had to give it to him in the parking lot 4) I had some real concerns about one of my puppies that I wanted to discuss, needed to be shown how to clean their ears, and needed to discuss heartworm meds and procedures, but by the time she came in I was so stressed out and nerves wrecked that I couldnt have a calm conversation with her so I didnt even try. I even told her I was too stressed out and feeling too anxious at that point to discuss concerns. So I waited a total of an hour and 9 minutes for 5 minutes worth of an appt that cost me $150 that, in my opinion, was not performed in the most competent manner. I was blown away that they would even charge me full price after causing so much stress. I honeslty dont know why I didnt just walk out but I wish I would have. I received better and cheaper service at the SPCA when we had our cat.*edited per their respons. There was no information given that an emergency had come in when I arrived. The Dr. told me she was suffering from allergies and was the only one there so it was hard to keep up. There was never any mention of an emergency. And again, had my hour long wait been acknowledged in ANY way, it would have changed my attitude on this situation. There were no apologies from any of the staff, zero acknowledgment of my wait and the only reason why the Dr. said anything to me was because I really needed to talk to her about something and when she asked me I told her all I wanted at that point was to leave. And I do see nothing but 5 star reviews even though when I expressed my bad experience to others I have heard my share of negative feed back. This made me feel like it was that much more important for it to be known. If they understand that people cant be treated this way and the situation is brought to light, the hope is that they will be more aware of this in the future and show more consideration to others.
