Started off with the billing company hacking my debit card the day I signed up. Had to get a new card and paid each month in cash. Was told I was good to go after my six month membership ended. Harassed by calls and emails from Paramount. Was not sent documents I requested and instead kept getting my late fees jacked up and monthly membership charges. Finally was able to speak to Bronson Cline who started off helpful but then after I read some of the other bad reviews to him as requested got very patronizing with me so I hung up. Don’t waste your time or money with these people.

Be careful the advertisement. They claim it is a month to month no contract, no commitment. This is not honest way to run business, They will charge you whole year regardless. They do not have staff and or the customer service to terminate the subscription. They claim they have staff on site; but when I ask for termination, they said ok good luck. But in the other end, they charge you regardless. I would rather pay 50USD extra to a honest place.

This has been my go-to gym for a couple of years now. I highly recommend the spin class with Chris. I have been doing personal training sessions with Thomas, and I cannot say enough good things about him. I am in my middle years, but I have been able to stay strong and even lose a few pounds bc of working out here. They keep the facilities clean and have antiseptic cleanser for each member to wipe down equipment after use (which, honestly, people should do even if there wasnt a pandemic). You are allowed to remove your mask if you wish while you are working out (a legal exception to the mask mandate). They are open after normal business hours with no personnel working, but a special member-card-swipe type of lock on the doors.

Coming off of a very difficult four years where I was not able to exercise and gained forty pounds, in March of 2020, I had just begun to get back into regular exercise when the pandemic hit. With all the gyms closed and having lost work, I had to concentrate on earning a living. I once again became sedentary and gained another ten pounds during the six month lock down. I was never so excited as when the gyms opened back up! After considering one other gym, I selected Fit for Life 24 in Apex. During my fitness goals interview, I was asked if I would be interested in hiring a trainer for a short five session package. By this time I had been going to gyms for a while before the break and had never hired a trainer or felt the need to do so. But as luck would have it, the person that interviewed me, Jack E. was so fun, friendly and most of all, knowledgeable, that he made a very good case to at least try a trainer. I was hesitant because I thought I already knew my way around a gym and most of all, because I just did not have any extra money to spend on nonessential items. But being older and having so much weight to lose, I decided to go for it. Best exercise decision Ive ever made! It was exactly the fitness jump start I needed. Could never have attained on my own. I never knew how much I didnt know about using gym equipment. Jack showed me the most efficient combinations to maximize muscle group resistance and cardio in a really short amount of time. I began to see and feel a difference in less than two weeks. The gym is a perfect size, really clean and has everything you need to get in great shape. I am sure all the trainers are good, but I KNOW that Jack is GREAT! No matter your fitness level, work with a trainer, you will be so glad you did!

My family and I love this gym. We are glad that they are reopened and that they took the time during the lockdown to remodel and update. The people that go to this gym are super friendly which enhances the environment.

Great gym! Great and friendly staff! Family atmosphere in the gym! Ashley is the best! She is so knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness. She has helped me see results in strength, fitness, nutrition, etc... I look forward to going to training sessions. Each session has been challenging and rewarding!

Ive been a member at Fit For Life for almost 6 years. I absolutely love this gym. It has a family like atmosphere with wonderful staff and instructors. Ill never go anywhere else!

I have been going here since April 2019, and I like it. The atmosphere is laid back, they have a variety of classes, open 24/7. Sometimes the equipment breaks but they fix it promptly. Also I chose to pay for the entire year up front, so I hopefully wont have billing issues whenever I do cancel :)

This is one of the most professional establishments Ive ever been to! The employees, specially Ashley Gossweiler, are outstanding and provided top notch customer service! Theyre various equipment and machines to help reach your fitness goals!

This gym is great! Im a night owl so I love the fact that they are open 24 hrs/day. It definitely offers something that no other gym in the area does. Its also really affordable. Every time I go in the front desk staff is always really nice and friendly and that definitely helps my work out :)

I really enjoy this gym, they are currently making upgrades to some equipment and accessories. 1 year sign up discount was perfect for me and having the option for a personal trainer was a big help on getting started here.

I do the smart fit program and i love it. I love being encouraged on and not having to come up with my own workout! Any time Ive been there Ive had no trouble getting the equipment i want. Yes, sometimes youre working around others or trainers, but its not a big deal.Only reason it isnt 5 stars is every time i talk to them Im told something different about pricing.

It is a great gym to work out in and very friendly atmosphere. It reminds me of the show Cheers, because everyone really knows my name. Bryant is a great trainer and really knows how to get the best out of you by doing the right exercises. He uses the first 4 appointments to really get to know you and find out what you are capable and non-capable of doing. The goals that are set for are realistic and achievable.

Clean facility, professional trainers. I have been working out self-taught for 3 years but Austin truly gave me a challenge. His workout was structured, efficient, educating, and beneficial to my gains. 10/10 would recommend going to him for your personal training needs

Really nice gym! I always go after hours-best time to go in my opinion. They have everything. Bench press, cardio machines, kettle balls, dumb bells, etc. Everything a gym ahould have. Clean as well.

Outta town for work looking for a gym and i found Fit For Life 24. Awesome gym and great atmosphere. Elena was more than helpful and had a great attitude. Highly recommended and i will go back when ever Im in Apex

After visiting Fit for life 24, I found the staff very knowledgeable, friendly & upfront. The 24 hour facility is very convenient as well. When you are out checking out gyms you can’t go wrong with fit for life!

I finally had an AMAZING time working out! I didn’t feel judged, and the employees are very nice. Faith helped me- she was so helpful!!

The gym is very nice. My problem is with the customer service and the management. Lots of human error going on here. Back in October we were told it has been taken care of when we tried to get someone off our account that had stopped paying. Shortly after we realized that this had not been the case. When we brought this to the attention of management they were not apologetic and instead accused us of lying because there werent any notes about it on our account. At the same time we needed to get the charges off one card and on to another because when I signed up underneath someone they replaced her card with mine even though Im under her and this shouldnt have happened. Apparently in the heat of the moment when management was getting angry at us for suggesting they forgot to take that unpaying person off our account they didnt take note of the card change. Fast forward to when we realized they didnt make the card change I called to straighten the problem out and was responded to aggressively and rudely. Apparently there was no way they could make a mistake like this and it was our fault again somehow. Im so done with the rudeness and lack of customer service at this gym. They have screwed up the accounts of almost all the friends we have sent there and I hate that they call themselves Christians while being incredibly rude and condescending to their customers. Someone else please start another gym in Apex. Youll have more money then you know what to do with.

I came to Apex on business and Elena and the staff were extremely accommodating. Its a clean gym, with proper equipment to get the job done. Highly recommended Fit for Life 24 in Apex.

This place is a complete scam. I started a three month membership in May and emailed them multiple times in August to cancel the membership because I moved to a different town. I left a voicemail on their machine. I even Facebook messaged them because I was so desperate to figure out the steps I needed to end my membership. Not ONE person ever got back to me about my membership and how I could cancel it. Overall, i have been charged over a hundred dollars for a gym I havent been to in months. I called them once more after getting off the phone will the billing company and the lady was completely rude to me. She made me feel like I was an idiot all because I was very frustrated. She was absolutely no help and should not be working the front desk if she treats people that way. I get that it was a rolling membership. What I am extremely dissatisfied with is that no one ever contacted me back. Do not go to this gym. They will scam you. Looking at other reviews, I know I am not the only one.

One of the few gyms I’ve ever had a membership to that makes you truly feel like part of a family as soon as I walk in the doors for my daily work out. While the equiptment is great and always clean the staff here is also incredible and beyond friendly. Especially my now good friend, Austin Pisacane. Even on the days when the last thing I want to do is lift Austin’s positive attitude and passion for the gym keeps me motivated. Thank you fit for life for being exactly what a gym should be, and thank you Austin P for going above and beyond what the average gym employee does in order to leave a positive impact on those around you.

Ashley, Austin and Emily were great trainers. Helped me out a lot. Very friendly. However, the billing process was terrible. Absolutely frustrating and that is why I have canceled my membership.

Be aware that this gym will conceal information or will give incorrect information for you to join. They tricked me into joining a 1 year contract mentioning clearly that I can give a one month notice if I need to cancel anytime without a penalty, clearly that was not the case. Read your documents here before you sign up. For me, a lesson learnt!

Poor customer service...the guys and gals behind the counter are mostly clueless to any information you seek and are very unreliable in getting back to you. The gym itself isnt that bad, but it is a small gym and very crowded at peak times. The TVs on the treadmill rarely work now and are advertised as fully functioning.

The club is fine, decent machines, for the price probably the best mix of cardio/weights and classes, but beware, they use a 3rd party financial company for the business end that is horrible to work with. thats the ONLY reason they dont get 4 starts. I wish they would bring that end back in house

This is a geeat fitness studio. What I like about it is the classes. They have Zumba, Yoga and many other Les Mills classes. It atmosphere is casual with normal people trying to stay healthy vs a bunch of hard bodies which makes it comfortable.

We have only bad things to say about this gym, we joined few months back. They were canvassing a lot for us to join all seemed ok. So we thought to give it a try, the issues started to unfold one by one and we cannot get out due to agreement. The equipments are worse, the machines will give you injury one way or the other, weights are ok but no grips, no hot water so forget about sanitizing your hands, you have to keep adding for towels as they dont stack them up, dont expect a cheerful welcome from the staff, dont expect wipes to sanitize equipments. On top We got a Personal PT sessions, and ended up in a group session for one of the sessions.

Gym sucks no machines bad lighting overall no gainz are made in this so called gym

Gym doesnt have child care so I stopped using gym. Also I waited to cancel membership so I wasnt charged cancellation fee of $150, nobody explained 6 months prior to contract end and i spoke to 3 different people, that I was binded by contract to pay $59.99 price lock fee again at end off contract. I would have been better off paying $150 than keeping my contract, paying $20 for 6 months and then being deceived into paying a second price lock of $59.99 for a contract I wont even have. Because if you dont cancel within 30 days of anual contract date you get $150 cancellation charge. They con you. Thats diapers I could have bought. So pissed!!!!

So this gym is small, that is one of the things I origonally liked about it. They did eventually expand into the next space over but they put this one large crossfit thing in the middle of the second room. That would be perfect if that was the room the peraonal trainners used. That way all the other equipment would be open. My main Issue is that people like to take over a macine and then walk away from it but still dont want you to use it, its like get your sets in and shut the heck up! Some of us are here to work out, not run our mouthes. If you want to go have a 10 min conversation then dont hog the equipment. Also the personal trainners arent much better. If you are going to use a multi function machine then use it, but do all you want to do on it and then move on! Dont use it, block it off so no one else can use... then move over and do 4 or 5 other things and then come back to it. There is the one piece of equipment I love to use due to it being able to do almost a full body workout, If they are going use it like that, they need to get a second one! Also I know rental space and employees are not cheep, but your equipment needs to be kept up! Dont upgrade things that dont need it and then neglect the equipment or replacing items needed to use equipment! Of corse I guess if they had more then a bunch of kids running the place it might become a better gym again!

No child care. Its a strip mall gym, so everything is just 2nd class. The equipment, bathrooms, classes, etc. Spend a bit more and go somewhere with a bit more to offer.

Although the facilities and people were ok I would avoid this gym due to their billing company, Paramount Acceptance. We closed our account yet they continue to bill us. Its been a nightmare going on now for 7 months. Repeated back and forth and Fit4Life and PA seem unable to talk to eachother (PA actually refused to call Fit4Life). No way I would use this gym again while they continue to work with this billing company. There are numerous BBB complaints against PA as well so buyer beware!

I attempted to discontinue my membership after 2 years and they will not accept my attempt to stop membership by phone and they tell me they are unable to find me in their computer. Still they are billing me every day and drafting money from my bank...very poorly handled!! This is a very small gym with poor facilities in the mens locker room areas....

A very nasty , poorly managed ran operation. When they could not tell me the type of certifications or who their trainers were certified by , I said thank you for your time and left, never looking back.

Extremely pissed off right now. Was told I could call to cancel my membership if I didnt want to continue it, called on Monday and got billed today. Glad i was looking for it. Complete scam, never will trust this place again.
