Once I finally got to schedule my three tests with a scheduler from the direct location everything was great! Otherwise I would give the scheduling a 1 star!!!! The scheduling is done out of Florida, and the employees are difficult to understand and they find it difficult to understand you!! I wanted all three tests done on the same day and was told it could not happen after being on the phone for almost 30 minutes. Somehow a miracle happened and I was transferred to the local imaging office and within 6 minutes I had all three tests scheduled and the others that were scheduled by the foreign office were canceled. The experience in the facility was great & so were the employees. It was the scheduling that was painful!!

Very pleasant experience with Simon Med Imaging in Apache Junction. The front office gal was quite nice, kind and helpful. The technician was respectful, gentle and listened to my concerns while explaining what would be done.

Signed up online for an x-ray, because it was an option, only to find out that they only do this on a walk in basis. The staff were obviously used to the frustrated people and comments but were professional none the less. Two stars because I feel sorry for them and they seemed to handle everything they do schedule pretty good. Otherwise, they are simply not equipped to do x-rays efficiently in this way, which results in routine wait times of 2.5 to 3 hrs for x-rays. They really should do everyone a favor and just schedule them like everything else, or stop offering them. In the end my x-rays took less than 5 min to do, literally.

All inclusive, my appointment was a good experience. The staff were polite and caring. My test was so much better, quicker, and anxiety free than others Ive had. My only complaint would be that I arrived early per instructed, but 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I was finally called for my CT Scan.

I will not ever go to this location ever again! Had to wait over an hour and a half even though I had a scheduled appointment. Issues with the order, as it was written. Did not put my head in a brace, for the Images I was having done. Took SEVEN!!!! YES SEVEN attempts to start the IV for the contrast. You would think that they would check the images before you leave to make sure that they came out. Blurry images dont show well! And dont support your case!

* 2-hour wait & Mask Karen rude!*We waited almost 2 hours. They said it would be 1 1/2 hour. When we finally brought back for the x-ray. I waited outside the room. I reached into my purse to get an ibuprofen. I had a massive headache. Drank some water. Voice texted someone that we would be late. Needed my mask off for voice text. Took two big breaths to let the meds sink in. I needed fresh air. I was struggling a bit. As I was doing this an older lady technician ran up to me. In a very rude tone asked if I was vaccinated? Asked me 3x. Without waiting for an answer she said “if not you better get your mask on!” She had no idea what was happening or what I was going through. She didnt wait for me to explain. **If they cant listen to patients - then how can we trust them to care? Especially after making people wait 2 hours. Its a busy location and youre just a number. Still need to act with compassion.****However, they did have a cool quilt hanging on the wall.

Simon Med sent a request to doc over a month ago and I called and validated prior to making appointment they sent it approved back to Simon Med, I show up for my appointment and wait an hour to hear they just had to call to get approval from my doctor cause they didn’t have it. Then they had technical difficulties with their systems in the mammogram and ultrasound. I was not done until noon with my 930am appt. I would recommend expressing to patients ahead of time or during issues and letting them know what is going on instead of sitting silently and waiting for confused patients to get angry. The people in the office were amazing and they did the best they could - this review is for SimonMed.

I made my appointment online as soon as I got my requisition from my doctor and was able to get an appointment for that same day. Went to the Apache Junction location and was taken in within five minutes and was on my way about five minutes before my 1:00 appointment time. No wait yesterday. Wonderful

This place is terrible, my wife and I are expecting and this is our first ultrasound, not like they are doing open heart surgery or anything and my wife called ahead to make sure I could come with her and the girl at the front desk said no problem. So I took half a day from work to go, drove 45 minutes out of the way (its Apache Junction you know..) and once on site we waited for her turn. At no point anyone told us I couldnt go even though it was clear that I was there with her. Once her turn finally came, I got told I couldnt go...so ridiculous. While I really wanted to take part of this great journey with my wife, at least have the decency to let people know in advance, especially when they are asking !!!! 0 stars

The staff was very personable and efficient. I only had to wait about 10 minutes after finishing the paperwork. She took me in for my CT scan and i was done in about 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this facility.😊

I arrived and was attended to immediately despite them having clients awaiting in the lobby, I expected to be there at least two hours, the gentleman running the x-ray was quick and had a great sense of humor definitely a great and fast experience.

Lobby/waiting area was very busy, but EVERYONE was masked. My appt. was at 12:30, arrived at 12:05 for paperwork and was told they are running behind so I probably wont get in until 15 minutes to 1 hour later than originally scheduled. As it turned out I was called in and on the table for my MRI 13 minutes late. Not bad considering I figured it would be much worse. Entire staff was very pleasant even those that have to listen to the bang, bang, bang of the MRI equipment all day long. It amazes me that anyone can do that day in and day out and not lose their mind in in the process. Job well done Simon-Med.

It was fast and easyI got there 15 minutes early to do some paperwork. I was called in at my appointment time. I was out in five minutes. The staff was efficient and friendly. Dean made sure my insurance was covered. Easy peasy.

Made a appointment for a CT scan at 14:15 hrs arrived there at 13:50 hrs to be sure all paperwork and information was taken care of. Waited for an hour I had to complain to the front desk, apparently they double booked and failed to mention that. Explained that she should have just told me when I checked in, I arrived 25 mins before my scheduled appointment and came on my day off and was exhausted. Other people been waiting and not wanting to speak up or say something that is fine, I on the other hand want to go get scanned and go back to sleep. She knew they were behind yet did not feel the need to let the people waiting know it would be longer because they’re were behind.

Had a scheduled appointment on 7/29/2021 went in for appointment had already did all check in online. Waited 1 1/2 hours for them to tell me that the CT tech never showed up, front desk (3 Women) and not one person ever thought to check if they appointments were going to be seen or not! Then they didnt even offer to reschedule any of the patients waiting! The 3 people up front were more worried about talking about their personal lives rather than paying any attention to the patients in the waiting area! Need better and more efficient staff members, ones who actual care more about their jobs than gossiping!

Unfortunately I was at the wrong office checked in for close to a hour before front desk and myself realized I was at wrong office🤦🏽‍♀️ When I did make it to correct building the staff was understanding and fit me into the day’s schedule since my appointment time had came and went🤗I gave only two stars because in my mind staff should be wearing gloves when starting IV’s!!! Also first MA I will assume that’s their tile stuck me twice and couldn’t get a vein even with her digging around which later turned into a bruised arm!!! This next star was for Richard he found my vein 1st go round got testing started and completed with no complaints from me🤗

Horrible experience. Showed up to my appointment to be told they had cancelled it accidentally, even though they were still sending me tests to remind me of it. Then the 2nd time they scheduled it they billed it to my insurance incorrectly, resulting in a denial and then canceling my appointment again. They kept blaming my insurance so I spent 4-5 hours on the phone trying to get them to listen and make the necessary corrections. Finally I had to do a conference call with simonmed and my insurance so that they would stop brushing off everything I said and realize they were at fault.Even after all that I ended up having to be a cash pay client in order to finally get my MRI done weeks later. Incredibly frustrating experience and I will not use them again.

Everything was wonderful. However you need more help at front desk. One woman and line to door with patients. I am in a lot of pain but I had to wait in line for 17 minutes just to check in. I had already done paperwork but still had to wait to check it. Cross training someone else as a backup perhaps.

The facility is clean and staff are friendly and courteous. X-rays are only done as walk-in status and was told 30 min to 1hr wait time. After 1 hr 15 mins asked about remaining wait time, was informed I was next, after 3 more people called I finally got X-ray done 1 hr 45 min after arrival.

The experience there was, as always very good. However, making an appointment is absolutely horrific. Took 6 different calls. Also tried online. Terrible nightmare. Got hung up on 3 different times. Or the online didnt like what I put in. Hard to get a human. However the 3rd time I actually got one, he was terrific. Need to make it easier to actually speak with someone. What an ordeal.

Excellent service. Everyone was efficient, caring and pleasant.I have a broken right arm and cant write with my left hand, the receptionist helped me with the form that needed to be filled out so all I had to do was sign. I was in and out in about 45 minutes.

The man who did my CT was excellent and very pleasant. He was more interested in my past health problems that the last few doctors I have seen and seemed to care about me as a patient. How I wish there were more like him and he could be my primary care doctor.

Make sure you have an appointment. I waited less than 10 min. Walk-ins we’re waiting 1.5 hrs.The technician that did the mammogram is awesome. Makes you feel very comfortable and she is efficient. Front desk girl was rude and abrasive to everyone that approached her desk. It was only 11:00 and she’d already had had enough for the day.

I was told a 2 1/2 hour wait for an X-ray on my foot. There was hardly anyone in the waiting room . I realize there were people that had made appointments in advance but seriously. 2 1/2 hours! 2 of the three receptionists were violating HIPAA laws by talking out loud about previous patients and also talking about their personal lives. I’m not happy about my experience at this location and will not use them again.

It was my first time doing imaging here in AZ new to the state from FL I have to say the woman at the front desk who greeted me was rude and unfriendly. Which to me is unprofessionaI. I will choose another facility moving forward. Even though it was convenient I will go elsewhere.

I was very very disappointed at this facility. They do not take appointments for x-rays, I understand that, and I understand they will work you in for x-rays. I know they don’t take very long. I arrived well before they opened, I was the second person in line. And I waited two hours to have a chest x-ray done. They knew, because I told them my husband was in the hospital and I would appreciate any courtesy they could give to get me out quickly.They told me they had to take appointments first, even though none of these were for an x-ray. They cleared out approximately 20 people before they ever took any walk-ins back. I don’t expect someone who has an appointment to be bumped but I do expect if you are not allowed an appointment to be shown consideration there was no consideration. I did request an appointment the previous day and was denied. I also saw people coming back who had a appointment the day before but they ran out of time to take care of them. This is the worst customer service I have experienced at an imaging place

Aj location was good. I ended up having to call Simon med quite a few times. I don’t know if their scheduling is outsourced? They couldn’t tell me if the shoulder scan covered an additional area that is right next to the shoulder. Turns out yes it did our primary care doctor was able to tell me. Also my kid had a staple in his head and we couldn’t figure out if he could get an MRI safely on the shoulder. They still couldn’t tell me until I showed up at Simon med to get it done. I scheduled with simonMed on Monday and they Told me the only open appointment for as soon as possible was Tuesday at the Gilbert location. So we were originally scheduled at the Gilbert Location. I drive from Santan Valley to Gilbert just for them to tell me they changed my appointment to the Apache Junction location. No communication. The wait wasnt terrible, 30-40 min. Lots of unhappy people though because the cat scan machine was a 2 hour wait and apparently the same machine was down at another location. Be patient, be prepared for a several hour event.

1. Filling out info online before was time wasted as I still had to fill out forms at the appointment.2. I was told to be there at 7:30 for my 8:00 appointment and you don’t open till 8:00!3. Staff at front desk was very good.4. Staff for ultrasound and mammogram were excellent.I would suggest a place/bag to put clothes in and also where to put gown when done.Sorry but my experience at EVDI was much better but I would use SimonMed again.

Came for a x-ray and it is a walk-in only. No appointments to be made. The tech who does the x-ray also does other test that have appointments. Be ready to sit here for a complete day before you get your x-ray! Go to Banner Imaging it is easier and you will not waste your day.

Check in took forever although I had checked in online. Big line. Staff unfriendly and seemed unhappy with their job. Online scheduling for a mammogram was impossible. I spent an hour online and another hour on the phone.. The actual testing is good but getting to it is a nightmare. I will try a different place next time.

Because I didnt have an appointment the wait was very long and I overheard someone one saying the he did have an appointment but still had been waiting almost 2 hours so it wouldnt seem to matter if you have an appointment or not, you still have to wait a long time to be seen. This review is based on 2 visits. The first time, the tech at least was kind and professional. Both times, I have witnessed elderly clients waiting in line for 15 minutes+, just to talk to someone/check-in, some of them in obvious discomfort having to stand for so long. This place is like a big robot, a robot that has not been updated for quite some time. They will have you fill out forms online and upload your ID and insurance cards online, using a time consuming system, then they still have you fill out the same forms in person. You get a text to let them know you are here online but you still have to wait to check-in. Their Covid precautions online have not been updated (its been more than a year and a half since the beginning of Covid and this is a healthCARE place!) and the information about their policy for the presence of a support person is inaccurate. If you try to use the chat function, a robot answers you and you do not have a way to interact with a real person. If you try to call and speak to a real person whom knows the answer to your question, it is close to impossible (I tried and was not successful). Their scheduling system is very complicated. Even when calling to schedule, I had to call twice as the person whom can schedule this kind of appointment was not here the first time. The second visit, the tech was devoid of any humanity, compassion, lacking even the most basic communication skills. I was emotionally vulnerable due to the reason for my visit and I was quietly in tears for at least half of the test, due to our initial interaction when she called for me in the waiting area. She was like a robot, her eyes never changed expression, even when I could not stop crying. I actually felt bad for her, that her employer managed to make her that way. We all choose to go into healthcare because we want to help people and somehow some people forget that along the way (or are taught different, usually by a greedy employer). I will never go back there. I have never felt so dehumanized. No signs of compassion or humanity, from the whole place. If you are an actor and want to learn how to act as a Terminator, then please do go to that place, their robotism seems to be institutionalized and perfected (although not updated). If however, you want a kind, compassionate, humane interaction, I would skip. Personally, I even prefer when people are rude, at least it shows they are human. What I experienced here on 9/9/2021, was way beyond rudeness.

Arrived with a x-ray order from my doctor.Was told to wear a mask. I told the receptionist that I had asthma and cannot wear a mask. She told me I had to wear one so I left. When the day is here when you cannot get medical care without muzzling yourself and bowing down to the medical fascists you know the country is in trouble.They know the mask serves no purpose medically.It does not stop the chinese bio- weapon.It does not stop the shedding of the Covid virus by those who are vaccinated to us around them. That is the real danger.And most important of all, we have numerous treatments available for this weaponized virus so that almost no one should be dying from it.

They make it impossible to talk to anyone about appointments. Its usually a eastern European or an Indian who english is mediocre at best. Had a CT scan I needed asap. They got my insurance wrong with billing and now have to wait. They hang up on calls.

The company would not honor the appointment even though I recieved constant reminders through out the day to not be late for it. When I arrived the staff took my ID and Insurance then acted as though I didnt have an appointment, I was given several excuses as to why the appointment was canceled without any attempt being made to inform of the changes including blaming my insurance, my doctor, and lack of staff. After recieving no service at the clinic I contacted the companys appointment call center where i had to deal with two extremely rude women just to ensure my insurance had not been charged. This is the third time Ive had a terrible experience with SimonMed, this time i reported my greavances to the Better Business Bureau where there are several similar complaints about this company. Do not trust them with either your health, use a different clinic, nor hospital for imaging needs.

There is no point in scheduling a 9am appointment, then asking you to arrive 30 minutes early with your bladder full, and not going in to see a doctor until 11am. Calling to schedule the appointment, the employees were very rude. Easily the worst customer service I have seen in every aspect of their business.

I disturbed the front desk girl while she was scrolling on her phone ,I guess, as her attitude was one of “what do you want and why are you here?” I was welcomed by Peter who was friendly and conversational and made me at ease during my exam. Debbie, my mammogram tech, was also thoughtful in her touch and interchanges with me.

Going to the facility was not a problem. My biggest frustration was trying to login on your website to schedule the appointment on line. Your system recognized me as having been a patient but I never had a password setup. So tried using a bogus password to create one by using “forgot my password “. The system didn’t recognize me then. Then trying to find a way to create a password wasn’t available. I was lividly frustrated. Whoever created the system did not make it a friendly user system. I still don’t have a password set up with SimonMed.

I took my 90 year old mother to the Apache Junction simonmed imaging center. The staff was very caring and made sure my mother was taken care of . I even had another staff member ask me if I was waiting for an x-ray because I was sitting in the back waiting for my mother. He was just making sure I was being taken care of. I would highly recommend this center.

This office opened at 8:00 so I arrived at 7:50 for a walk in x-Ray. I was told the wait would be 1 hour and fifteen minutes because they don’t start until around 9:00. I was shocked. I have a hard time understanding why an office that only offers walk in x-Ray appointments doesn’t even start taking them until an hour after opening. By the time I was finally called back at 9:25, the wait time had become 2 1/2 hours. All the employees were very nice to work with though.

For the 2nd week in a row I arrived early for an appointment at Gilbert - S Val Vista location only to be turned away when I got there stating they did not have the staff on hand needed to complete my test. When pressed, they did get me an appointment at Apache Junction location 2 hours after original, I arrived, now fasting for 10 hrs to be faced with further delays and incorrect information previously given on prep. Finally, after sitting in the waiting room watching patient after patient arrive to face issues with cancellations, wrong days scheduled or incorrectly communicated test prep I was in my test 1 hr and 30 min later than the rescheduled appointment.Once in the procedure the technician apologized for delay advised he was just routed to the location last minute and was clearly faced with lack of proper supplies when he attempted to administer the test.Of the people that I interacted with across both locations only 2 of 6 different staff members were honest and pleasant. Others lied and said they had called, they were rude and made it my issue that schedules or tests were incorrect. The technician and the billing clerk at Apache Junction were very accommodating and pleasant attempting to make the bad situation better for me and others.If you are in the business of treating potentially ill or already sick people, at least be accurate on scheduling and show bedside manner. Treating patrons and customers as they did is absolutely embarrassing and unnecessary. Suggest undercover boss style review to clean up this operation.

Another lady came in who had made an appointment 2 weeks prior online and they told her they had no record of it and laughed and said online scheduling didn’t work. Having an MRI is not really easy/. The staff was very helpful and explained that it would me very loud. They gave ear plugs which helped some . They also gave me a way to call for help if I needed to stop. And they told me how long it would take. Thank you.

Staff is great once you actually get in but appointments mean nothing here. This has happened at various locations, not just the AJ location. Every time I have to get something done they always run behind. I dont understand why I cant be called to tell me to come later. Instead I drive to get there 15 minutes before my appointment as requested only to be told they are overbooked and it will be at least another 45 minutes to an hour. Apparently my time is not as valuable as theirs. Other than the wait the tests have all gone well and the staff is always very professional and caring.

I first contacted SimonMed in Apache Junction on June 23rd, asking them to get my former mammogram from New Mexico. The person I spoke to took down all the info, the address and phone number of the imaging location in New Mexico, and told me they would email me when they received it.Two week later I called, only to find out my records had not been requested. This person also, knew nothing about requesting records and could not put me in touch with anyone who knew how to do it.After investigation, I finally found a form, filled it out, and took it personally into SimonMed where it was accepted and I was told they would contact me when they received the records. I was also chastised for not giving them the form earlier.Yesterday, July 29th, I called SimonMed records, where no person answers, you have to leave a message. I asked if they had received my mamo from NM. NO RESPONSE.Today, noon, July 30th, I called and left another message asking if they had received my mamo from New Mexico. THIS PLACE OBVIOUSLY DOESNT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. MORE THAN A MONTH OF TRYING WITH THEM AND I HAVE NOTHING. Thats criminal.

So I went in for a 32 week growth ultrasound for my pregnancy and it was the worst expierence not only did they ask me once over the phone if it was a first ultrasound and I corrected them but when I got in they also still thought it was the first ultrasound to get. Then when actually getting the ultrasound I didnt get to see the monitor at all to actually see my baby knowing this would be my last ultrasound I really wanted to see what he was looking like but no didnt see nothing then on top of that I got no pictures from them aparently their picture machine wasnt working but they gave me a cd so I wasnt worried after finally being able to get to a laptop as I do not own one and I looked through the pictures every single picture was blurry on top of that not one picture was a profile picture and I know she was able to see the whole profile from the little glimpse I got by trying to look at the monitor overall I also know the pictures could have been better I drank so much water the week prior to my appointment I am just super upset because thats my last ultrasound now if I want one I have to pay out of pocket just to even see what he looks like very upsetting she couldnt even give me one profile picture and we were in their an hour so not like she couldnt on top of that she didnt show me the monitor one time I had to try to look from the side.

Absolutely awful extremely unprofessional and dangerous the line to check in was out the door elderly patients in pain having to wait two hours just to be seen. The receptionist rude and disrespectful.the owner should be ashamed and get a huge fine!! Fix it before something bad happens!

The Simon med in Apache Junction was very acceptable. The technician promised me that my physician would have the results by the afternoon. When I went to my appointment the next day the physician did not have the results. I ended up waiting an hour in their office. Then they sent me home. Very disappointing. The technician was excellent. Her machine for copying the records was not working. The women at the front desk were able to give me a copy of the results. Unfortunately, I had stored them with my medical records at home since I was confident the doctor would have the MRI‘s waiting for me. That was not the case. A big disappointment. And a waste of time. No reflection on the technician.

Had to stand in line for 25 minutes just to get registered by a not-so-friendly caucasian lady.When I tried to make an appointment the previous day the dark skinned lady was very nice and helpful.Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to get 2 chest xrays that took 5 minutes. Xray tech was very cordial.You are wasting alot of peoples time by not allowing xray appointments. Also, its probably not a very efficient way to run a business.I will look elsewhere for future imaging needs.

They are putting a new system in place which is fine BUT the employees on the front end need to pay a little more attention to their surroundings. I waited nearly 30 minutes because a front end person did not tell the other person that they had handed paper work out and the other front end person said I should have handed it to her when I saw the other person was not there.

My visit to SimonMed wasn’t bad, it’s what I witnessed while in the waiting room that is the reason for the poor review. This location has quite a few elderly patients and I felt genuinely sorry for how indifferent to their needs they were treated by the SimonMed staff. A couple of examples; one elderly lady had been waiting for some time before she was called to the counter. She could barely walk and after walking to the counter was told she had to go home and get another document. I thought she was going to cry and watched her slowly move toward the exit. It was clear there was no way she was going to be able to open the door on her own yet the two young ladies behind the counter just sat and watched her. I opened the door for her and she told me “why didn’t they tell me I needed this before, how am I going to make this trip again “? I had no answer for her. Second example, same visit; an elderly man approached the counter to check in, he was also having difficulty walking. The employee told him the technician wasn’t there today and he would need to reschedule. He was very frustrated because he drove over 30 minutes to get there and it was a hard trip for him to make. Why didn’t someone let him know his appointment was canceled? Third example, same visit; elderly man enters and went to counter where he told the employee he had an appointment at 9:30 am (it was 9:25). Employee told him that his type of appointment was subject to availability only and he would likely be waiting an hour or more. The man was visibly upset and asked why they gave him an appointment time if it didn’t mean anything. No real response was given and the man, who looked to be in pain, said some choice words and walked out. I was only in the waiting room about 20 minutes and observed these interactions, and even more. I think SimonMed should get someone to go there in the guise of a patient and evaluate how this office is run - clearly there are some patient communication issues that should be addressed, especially given the difficulty that many elderly folks have to get there. On the plus side my exam went well and the young ladies at the counter, while maybe too indifferent to the patients, handled a couple of irate and upset people very calmly.

I was called that you received my cray order. I called back and made an appt.when I got there for my appointment I was told there wasnt any order there so they called the doctor and got a verbal order. Also they were told I can not sit for very long. We were told they would get me back as soon as possible. My care provider had to go up and remind them as my back and leg was in sever pain. Finally they got me in the back. The cray tech was very polite and courteous she even got my care provider for one part of the test as I would have fallen had she not been there. The office girls need to know what is going on. I will not use simon med again.

I was there for an X-ray which requires no appointment. I was told it would be a 30 to 60 minute wait, but I was called within 15 minutes! The X-ray Tech was very efficient. I will be back.

Everyone was super kind & professional in my experience. The front desk gal went out of her way for me to navigate my payment options . It was a reasonable wait to be called in for my no appointment needed X-ray .. The gentleman who performed the X-ray was discreet & showed excellent customer service . I will highly recommend them !

The employees were fantastic and did an excellent job, however...We were there for an ultrasound for a pregnancy and they would not let the spouse go back. Other places let you be involved so I would recommend one of those if its for a pregnancy ultrasound.

First time at this facility. Office lady very professional and courteous as was the technician who did study. In fact, they had me in and out, as I arrived early, on my way home before my appointment time. Very pleased with them.Definitely going back here for bone density exam.

The staff if very nice. However having to wait two to three hours, even with an appointment, is very discouraging. People were cranky, frustrated, left only to hope to have a shorter wait another day. All locations are like that and it isn’t even snow bird season
