Athletico in Antioch, IL provides an excellent atmosphere for successful rehabilitation. The staff is friendly and fun while positively pushing you to your goals. I enjoy my time at PT! Well, except for the necessary pain of rehabbing a shoulder. I’m appreciative of the professional instruction and support provided.

Very friendly and welcoming environment. Josh and Nicole are both great to work with. Staff is professional with a great sense of humor which makes you feel comfortable coming here. I went to Athletico for both my knees. With the exercises they have me doing at the facility and with the follow up instructions they send me to do at home, my knees have improved. Coming here alone wont get you where you need to be...but continuing what they showed you to do at home as well is what will get you better, much faster!

I had both shoulders surgically replaced in 2020. I received physical therapy at Athletico in both Zion & Antioch. Both facilities & staff were outstanding. Convenient locations, clean facilities, & friendly staff that I got to know by name. The treatment was well thought out, progressive, and led to me regaining mobility that I hadn’t had in years & which surpassed by doctor’s expectations.

I worked with Josh and Niccole at Athletico PT in Antioch after an ankle fracture. My dad had physical therapy here after his shoulder replacement surgery. The staff was patient and worked with him to ensure the surgery was as successful as possible. After attending all the assigned therapy he got back nearly full range of motion. The surgeon, who did an awesome job, didn’t think he’d get so much motion back. Great job athletico!

I had a recurring ankle injury and they identified the source of weakness, helped me gain strength and showed me proper form in certain exercises. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Josh by my podiatrist for pain I was having in my feet. I had PT 2 days a week for 6 weeks. Josh and Laura are always very friendly and personable. While the exercises arent the most fun things in the world, they have helped with my pain tremendously, and Josh made sure to check in on how my pain was. I would highly recommend them to people who need physical therapy in the future.

Amazing group of people working.... I started PT after knee surgery at a place in Lindenhurst; and after the first full round NOTHING changed and I was in tremendous pain.... I switched to Athletico in Antioch and Josh did more during my first visit then the other place did in 6 weeks! This recovery was a lot rougher, but going to PT at Athletico has made it the difference!From Kelly taking the time to set the bike up for me because I am taller than most, to Josh, Mary Kate and Nicole working to get me back on my feet.... it has TRULY made the difference.

An ongoing shoulder issue brought me back to Athletico in Antioch. Josh had previously helped me after back surgery. Once again, he and everyone at this facility were friendly and willing to listen to my questions. He shows concern for your pain, but guides you and pushes you through to get your strength back. Josh and Nicole were wonderful to work with and I can honestly say after being discharged last night, that I know I can continue to heal, increase my overall health and have significantly less pain than the first day I walked in the door. PT really does work! I had constant upper back pain from splitting 4 trees over a year ago and realized this week it no longer hurt throughout my entire day. My wife said, you havent been rolling your back for the last couple weeks! I came in for my back and Josh and Nicole addressed my shoulder, hip and ankle that have also been painful for years and I can honestly say PT works but you have to stick with the home exercises and trust Josh and Nicole. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT, GO SEE THEM!!! THANK YOU BOTH VERY MUCH!!!

Ive worked with the wonderful staff at Athletico PT - Antioch from the end of June to December 2020 after having shoulder surgery. I have recovered my full range of motion and strength because of their help. Tiffany and Niccole were my primary partners in my recovery, and I am ever so grateful for their patience, care, explanations and not to mention, humor! They make the atmosphere welcoming, professional and fun all at the same time.

I highly recommend Athletico in Antioch. Im very picky as to where I go for physical therapy, and this has been the best care Ive received while in PT. The staff is incredible. I worked with Mary Kate, Joel, and Riley for the most part and they were incredible. The whole staff is incredible. They would engage with you and have conversations with you and they would also keep it professional. I always looked forward coming in to have conversations with the team, because they would always have me laughing. The care and respect they have for their patients make you feel comfortable and want to keep going. In the past I had quit every session of PT I had to go to. This was my first time going to Athletico and I kept going because of how welcoming they are and they would encourage you to do more and get better. So I stuck it out with them. They encourage you to do more, but if you cant they wont push you to do more. They would figure out something else to do and try again next session. The improvement from day one to my last day was huge! I can now do photography and whatever shenanigans I come up with because now I have more strength and movement with my Achilles tendon and calf! I could go on and on about them, but I have donuts to eat =) Seriously, consider Athletico in Antioch, I promise you wont be disappointed! -Patsy

I was hit while on my motorcycle. Luckily I wasn’t injured too badly. When I spoke to my doctor he suggested that I go to physical therapy. When I started at the athletico in Antioch I was not to sure what to think. I never had to go to a physical therapist before this. The first week I could barley walk. Tiffany and Nicole were my primary therapists. I had pains all around my hips knees and lower back. They broke it down for me to understand. They told me what they thought and their end goals. I had some days that my back would act up and I was in a lot of pain. They toke it easy on me those days and did more hands on. I did a few months with them. At thee end they gave me things to do at home if I had any problem or pains start back up. I would highly recommend them. They have been nothing but outstanding people that understand and want nothing but to make you feel better while teaching me to take care of my self. I hope that I don’t ever have to go back but if I do this is where I am coming.

From suffering a stroke at birth, I have been in and out of physical therapy my whole life. Antioch Athetico Physical Therapy is far by the BEST place I have ever gotten the privilege to work with. Every employee is very friendly, knowledgeable, and overall wants the best for their patients. The facility is very clean with a relaxed safe atmosphere. My physical therapist was Josh, he was very personable and always motivated me to work hard. He gave me hope that I can do anything regardless of circumstance and Antioch Atheltico was always be a family to me.

They have done an excellent job at maintaining the COVID guidelines during this crisis and I always felt safe and protected during my sessions. Ive had the unfortunate need to visit the team in Antioch for a few different ailments. Josh, Joel and their staff are great to work with. They take the time to explain what they see, what theyre doing and they send you home with good exercises to do on your own. Most importantly I finished the treatment feeling better and pain free. I came to athletico to strengthen my leg and hip muscles after tearing my meniscus and trying to avoid surgical intervention. As a nurse for 45 years I worked with many therapists and was treated also. I found Josh and Riley to be more than excellent. Caring, knowledgeable, and communicative. Any concerns I had were explained fully and they made me feel quite at ease as they made me WORK! I highly recommend if therapy is needed head to Antioch athletico!

I love this place!!! I followed MaryKate Burnette who last summer was my PT at the Round Lake Beach location. She helped me with my neck and back after I had surgery. Now she is my PT at the Antioch location. She motivates me, encourages me and makes me believe in myself that I will get better. I already feel better after 2 weeks!!! She is my angel. Joel who also works there was very helpful in evaluating my knee and hip and the range of motion which is not the best. Josh is the manager there; extremely professional and always has a big smile for everyone!!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for physical therapy.

One couldnt ask for a nicer more knowledgable group of specialists whom all share a commitment to individual care and take obvious pride in helping folks like myself get back to health from whatever injury brought them to Athletico in the first place. Service was fine. The bill was a shocker. I was there for about 30 minutes. Got a fast diagnosis of my lower back pain and was given a print out of several exercises to do. The diagnosis was $168.00 and the phisical therapy, (showing me how to do the 5 exercises), was $158. Total $326. Everyone was nice. Not a horrible experience, just expensive and short.
