I always have a pleasant experience here even though I go for a medical procedure. The staff is wonderful! Very kind and caring. They answer any questions and point me in the right direction.I recommend you go there for your medical needs.

My dad and uncle were both there and it seems like all they want to do is set people up to die. both my uncle and dad called and said the hospital was trying to kill them. They told me last Friday my dad was never gonna be able to come home and we should consider an end of life plan. They were certain he could not recove. By Monday they said he was better and being transferred to rehab. How many lives have they ended that could have been saved.

Very nice people, and the care was satisfactory. However, the wait times are seriously long and what shouldve took two hours to do, took around 4 hours. Secondly, the main street to the emergency room was closed and no signs were put out to show where the alternative route is, this could be deadly to someone in hurry.

HAVE SUTTER ER DOCTORS FORGOTTEN THE OATH THEY TOOK WHEN THEY BECAME DOCTORS.Sadly if you go there for pain they will not treat you. I was told we dont treat chronic pain even though I told them something had changed and it felt like something had gotten worse. I spent 2 hours laying on a bench outside ( which cameras will show) crying in pain. They just assume everyone is an addict. DO NO HARM is part of the oath, well then how come I left in more pain then I came in. Check the notes the doctors write. They can make your next ER visit worse.This is only the first of my reviews since nobody is returning my calls.

It the worse hospital the doctor take there sweet time and let’s not talk about some of the nurse there rude and they think there all that I mean really get a grip your a nurse for god sake and some of this doctor take there time to see patents, they need to do better

If you need to go to the ER just find another ER to go to. I took my 1yo daughter for a 103 temp and they took 3 hours to tell me it was just a fever and to give her Tylenol and ibuprofen and then gave me a dosage based off of her weight when they didnt even take her weight or ask me what she weighed.

Worst experience. I went to the ER at 3 am for some strange pains and problems. There was nobody in the waiting room so my triage was fast and the nurse was very nice and caring. As soon as they put me back in a room is when it turned horrible. The room was dingy, old and outdated. I was left in unbearable pain for what seemed like a lifetime. My button they gave me didn’t even work. So nobody ever came when I pushed it. I felt like the Dr didn’t even care what I was telling him and insisted I had a virus and sent me home. I was still in terrible pain. I went to John Muir ER in concord just hours later where I was treated for Lyme Disease. I was treated with everything I needed in that hospital in the time it took for Sutter to do NOTHING. I will never return. Get it together Sutter Delta.

Don’t come here for an emergency. You’ll wait for hours with no clear communication on if and when you’ll be seen. Really regret coming to this location, I’ve had much better experiences going to Alta Bates.

Been here for 3hr to get put in a room and get ask how my pain it and then get move to an other room and get ask the same question? And who knows when ill see the dr because this guy are taking forever

I had the worst experience of my life here on Saturday, 12/19/20. I came in at 3 AM for a series of infected abscesses. I was laughed at, asked half a dozen times if I was on drugs, denied any painkillers or antibiotics until after the operation, denied sedation, and operated on without giving any time for local anesthetic to set in, despite my screaming in pain and begging them to wait for the lidocaine to take effect. Then they refused me a room and discharged me, refusing to even let me stay in bed until my ride arrived. I couldnt sit because of the wounds, so they told me to go lay on the waiting room floor or leave. It was 35 degrees outside at 6 AM, but I left and found a bus stop bench to lay on and wait for my ride.I wish I were making this up, but sadly this is how I was treated. It may also be worth mentioning that Im transgender, but anyone being treated this way is disgusting.

The worse emergency room I ever been to , we waited more then 3 and a half hour to be seen. My son is 3 years old and have been in plan they take to long to help you.

My mom had to have an IV put in her 3 times because the first 2 nurses didnt do it right.

If I came in dying I wouldn’t make it because these people take forever!😤

I gave birth to my baby here in 2016 and had a scary emergency induction but Dr Wada and all the nurses (except for one who did my catheter painfully wrong) were amazing and made me feel more comfortable. Fast forward to now and due with baby #2 in July and they still take care of me! Have been in 2x now and they always make me feel welcome to L&D even if nothing was truly wrong. Last weekend I had to receive steroid shots and other medications to stop contractions and my nurses took great care of me.

Very satisfied. Nursing staff, for the most part, are very professional. Leadership seems committed to high professional standards. A good hospital.

My brother was taken to Delta Sutter Monday night. From possible Cardiac Arrest. He flatlined x2. Here it is Wednesday evening and they still havent done a heart catheterization. They keep pushing the procedure back. This has to be the worst hospital ever. They either dont know what they are doing or dont care bout their patients

Went in today for stomach pain meet a awesome, caring nurse Kendall that really took time out to understand what I was feeling and help me in and out the bed for bathroom using,,just want to let corporate know need more nurses like her,,been coming here for about 4 years and this is the first I got treat with amazing service in the E.R. and not rude or waiting for hours on hours Kendall you Rock❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ And thanks

Nursing staff good, registration staff good and phlebotomists good. Doctors, specifically Dr. Sugarman, awful, disengaged, disingenuous, lack of compassion, cold, more worried about his dictation then about his actual patient and is obvious that he doesn’t listen to his patient when he can’t repeat back the patients symptoms.

They are the best !! I have had 2 of my children here and now im here for my 3rd one . I been here 24 hours and they have treated me Amazing in labor and delivery !! Nurse Heather And Vanessa are wonderful no matter how annoying or silly my questions can be or if i repeat myself because im nervous they are there too help !! They really give 100% + too there job !! Thank you guys for all your support

The hospital is poor in handling medical cases. My nephew Ifidon died on Wednesday 3rd July 2019 night due to their negligence after he was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday 2nd July knowing that he had low Oxygen. He was billed to see The cardio on Friday 5th July but they still discharged him before seeing the cardio. The nurse on duty (male) during his discharge on Tuesday was also rude.

Dr. Sugarman is AWESOME!!!! He was very attentive to my husbands care when he had suffered a stroke. Everyone from the security guard, to the registration clerk, nurses, assistants and helicopter crew were fabulous. We felt well cared for, and listened to.

I came to the ER for left side pain the staff at the front was very nice and helpful. The nurse in the back was very rude I laid their for two hours be for the staff came in and asked how I was feeling and if I needed anything. Monica Marie Gascon PA, was rude and not helpful at all. I have been to a lot of ER’s this was by far the worse

This hospital you should never go to you will die b4 you get some help here I was in the emergency room for 4 hr b4 I was seen the staff all had bad attitude like they hated they job I got to the back after being in pain waiting for 4 hr for the doc to walk in the room and tell me I was ok and was gone just give me pain meds and send me home I told the doc Im not here for pain pill check my head out MRI or cat scan he flat out told me no I left didnt receive no type of help what so ever I as for a complaint sheet which I will be sending in against the doctor Ron I believe that was his name as Im writing this Im still in the same pain I had b4 I went to the hospital 9 hr HR later trying to get to another hospital

My regular doctor at this hospital is very nice lady. I would tell anyone who is looking for friendly service at this hospital and it is kept clean unlike other hospitals.

Really sad this emergency room check in line alone can be as long as 10 people or more at a time! Get more check in staff. So inconsiderate and inefficient!!!

Better to go to urgent care center if you can.

I felt staff though of me as a joke even while facing a terminal disease. I wasnt the kindest patient but I felt judged from the start.
