Ive been seen by Schwartz once in the past four months. The appointment went well and staff seemed nice. The problems started when I tried to schedule my second appointment. The first time they had to reschedule they called me ahead of time and there was no issue. The second time they sent out a reminder a few days before the appointment then when the day came they told and I showed up for my appointment they told me they attempted to call me the day before to tell me Schwartz would be out of the office. If you have nothing to do and want to waste your time this is the place to go.

Dr Schwartz was very helpful and understanding he presented me with no pressure options.. Front desk was super nice.

Terrible (Dr. J. Simon) he is so rude arrogant no compassion at all for his patients. I came to the room to support my daughter, I actually introduce my self to him as a parent he did not even introduce himself back. Only thing that came from his mouth was I figured. What type of Dr. is that? What the heck he went to medical school if his going to treat people like that. Please get yourself another Dr. don’t go there.

I called in a refil for a prescription on Friday. It is now Wednesday. This is unacceptable levels of incompetence.

They were real great at first. Might’ve even saved my life. But after awhile they wouldn’t let me speak to a doctor and could never get me in for an appointment. Which I find peculiar because usually you’d think if someone was that sick they’d make a point to see them? Yet when I missed an appointment I would be pestered. I had a really bad flare up & tried to make an appointment. I was advised to go to the ER... an ER visit is $250 ...... even after speaking to them no one even called to follow up. I find this very strange & I honestly feel like the practice doesn’t care. Currently I am experiencing another bad flare up so if anyone reading this has a suggestion for a good GI doctor please reach out

I understand that offices are hectic, doctors are busy, and there is not enough time in the day to see everyone, but I have rarely dealt with an office as unprofessional and disrespectful as this disgrace to the medical field called a doctors office. The first time I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Schwartz, at the Gastroenterology Specialists section of Griffin Health, I had to wait over a month to meet with him. After waiting this time, despite constant stomach pain, I drove an hour to his office, only to be informed upon arrival (though not until I had already completed the paperwork) that Dr. Schwartz was not available for the appointment. In fact he was not actually in the office, nor was there literally any other doctor there who could see me.I accepted this to be what it was and scheduled an appointment for the following week, informing the staff at the time I made the next appointment, that I would not be able to leave work early, and thus might be late. Upon arriving at the office today, albeit 15 minutes late as I had informed them I would be, having rushed out of work, driven an hour, gotten stuck in traffic and spent another $10 in gas, I was informed that Dr. Schwartz was not in the office and had in fact gone home for the day. I cant report on the actual doctor himself, as I was never given such a pleasure as actually seeing the purported man, but I can say that I am absolutely disgusted with the way in which I was treated by the staff, office, and the general disrespect for the patient in general. I cant say what should be taken out of this, besides the fact that surely you can find a better gastroenterologist than this atrocity of an office.
