CARES helped me when I couldnt afford a ER visit for urgent care. I trust the doctors with their experience, as they gave me one on one care for my situation. 5 stars. Cash or insurance, same care, same experience.

I went into CARES after 18 hrs of extreme abdominal pain. Could hardly stand up straight or walk. My husband told desk clerk it was urgent at check-in and they got me back immediately. Couldnt see anything conclusive on the x-ray so they scheduled a CT scan at another place. They let me lay on a bed in the back until the scan appt. Turns out I had a ruptured colon. Dr setup direct admission to the hospital for emergency surgery. I was treated much, much faster than any previous experience at a hospital ER. Delays in treatment could have resulted in sepsis. I really appreciate their help.

They are very professional and polite and they care about your health and whats Best for you and they are just wonderful Dr and nurses in there and they are my primary medical doctor but they do take walk in and if you call before you go they will definitely save a time slot for you and I recommend them to everyone instead of going to the emergency room you get treatment and out a lot sooner cause they are not newbie these doctor have been in practice a lot long than just a regular emergency room doctor yes they are open 7 days a week just call for each day opening time and closing time and they have a oxford Office at the oxford exchange and a Anniston office close to the hospital RMC same doctors and they have computer linked together and tell what they did in the oxford Office if you go to the Anniston office next time cause its closer they are two different locations but se doctors and they are plugged in so they are like one doctors office at two different locations I love my doctor

Cares left me hanging for six days on a 48 hour Covid test, they gave me to test because they thought I had the virus and the first test wasn’t as accurate as the second one, then got mad at me for questioning their procedure on contacting patients! I called 3, 4 and five days after to see if the results were in and the front desk told me they wasn’t then on the six day they told me it was in and I was negative then when I questioned the front desk they got mad switched me to the nurses station then the nurse got mad and said my results got back 48 hours after the second test but the front desk doesn’t know that and that I was negative, again I questioned their procedures and she got mad saying they work hard trying to test everyone and they only call if it’s positive but they shouldn’t get mad at a person who they tell they think they have the virus then give them a second test and then don’t contact them leaving them hanging for six day’s and nights staying away from people worrying if they have the virus or not!!!!! Long story short Cares, don’t get all uppity and mad at a patient for worrying about their life!!!!!!!!!!

Went to this clinic in need of a referral. After waiting over a month for the referred Dr to schedule my appointment, I learned that CARES hadnt yet sent the referral. After calling and asking them to again, they complied however the referred clinic still did not receive referred paperwork. I called and asked to verify the number to be sure they were sending to correct number. She said No. You can just come pick it up. Once I picked up the paperwork, I discovered they had, in fact, been sending to the wrong number. All it took was a simple verification and problem couldve been solved. Instead you have individuals in a customer service setting that DO NOT want to provide customer service. I wont ever return to this clinic again.

I can’t be happier. I needed to change doctors because my old for 20+ years didn’t take the time to treat me anymore. I called cares and just like that I was treated like I was someone again. Everyone has been so nice! I love em!

Everyone was very kind! Please keep in mind it is a business, they will try to up sell you on some test while taking vitals. (Up selling is the nature of the beast, they have a right to do it too) I simply said let’s wait and see, there was no pressure after that. I am a mother of two and some times money can be tight. They were very understanding and the nurse practitioner was very patient with my questions and really helped us decide which options would be more budget friendly and help her figure out what is going on with my daughter. I am very thankful for their kindness and understanding. Every where else I called was double or more of the cost and you would still have to pay for anything extra. I couldn’t give them all five stars because it was a very very long wait. But... While we were waiting they accommodated my sleeping child to make her as comfortable as possible. It’s not the fastest place but they are very thoroughly caring for their patients. You ladies were amazing. Thank you for helping us! 🤗

I love Dr. Snead and Dr. Morris. They truly have made such a difference in my life. I drive 2 1/2 hours from Tuscaloosa just to see them as my Primary Care Doctors. They are the most caring, respecting, “go the extra mile” Practice. I never worry, I can text, call, or see them and they are most observant of what I have going on. I cannot say enough good things about them, I trust them completely. Whenever I am there, they never rush me, they spend adequate time in the room with me and listen thoroughly. Their staff is so helpful and even when I know (from working in healthcare) that I have to be trying their patience, I would never know!!!Thank you Guys all so much!!! Sincerely,Niki H.

Constantly getting teledoc appointments after the initial appointment. The initial appointment the doctor said they would schedule a chest xray after a covid test wich came back negative. Instead we had to continually call to try and get something set up two weeks later. Wont let her come in for a chest x-ray or refer her to place where she can get one. Due to her insurance and them being set as her primary care she cant go anywhere else and be covered due to her insurance. So where currently stuck with these sub-par practitioners.

I was a walk in. Called around 11:30 am, was there by 12:30 pm, and was out by roughly 2:30 pm. To walk in cold and be out within 2 hours was great. Provided the exact documentation I needed and for a price 1/14th of what another place quoted me. Wouldnt hesitate to go here again. All staff worked diligently to get patients through what appeared to be a busy office when I walked in, thought I was going to be there all day at first.

I was a walk in and private pay. This was my fourth time in there in 7 years and 2nd bad experience. I was asked this time for a deposit, never on previous visit. Was there for 2 hours, at intake they never took my temp but it was on my paperwork that they did. My temp when I got home was 99.8 not 97.9. My past history showed conflict in information and that I had a tonsillectomy there in 2013, when in fact it was 1969 that I had one in another state. I never saw a Dr, just a NP who stuck a tounge depressed in my mouth and nothing more. Pain level was never discussed and samples that she promised I had to ask for. Care instructions on paperwork was inaccurate since I only had 1 script ordered. Was over charged for entire visit. Staff was not overly friendly and receptionist kept spraying Lysol. I will most likely be going to another Dr today because I barely made it through the night with pain.

Dr. Sewell is by far one of the most amazing doctors Ive had in my lifetime. Hes very understanding & he could tell I wasnt feeling too well and cracked a few jokes. I highly recommend seeing him. Not too many doctors out there that care about their patients these days, its definitely worth the 1hr. & 38 minute round trip drive!

We waited for 3 hours, plus the hour it took for him to eat lunch! I would recommend you go to the Emergency Room! Stringfellow to be exact..! I guess thats why its called CARES and not urgent care!

My daughter just left the Cares in Anniston after three and a half hour wait to see a doctor just to get a prescription refilled the doctor was in the room for less than 3 minutes and said nothing other than do you have any side effects and left. Something needs to be changed to help patients who just need prescription refills even if they do have to see the doctor.

Was told the FMCSA D.O.T Authorized clinic could not prevent cdl class A drivers from driving with Type 2 diabetes. However, once there I was informed of something entirely different. Not only does this clinic follow the guidelines also, they follow the recommendations. Nothing in the federal regulations prohibit a driver from operating a commercial vehicle with Diabetes type 2 or, even sleep apnea. This clinic uses a super strict interpretation of the recommendation guidelines. Claiming they do not want to lose their certificate to justify their actions. This comes down to MONEY, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Opportunities exist for more detailed physical exams once any criteria is established. This is no different than any type of other business. They up sell their products, goods and services. People sometime hold Dr. and the medical industry up to a higher standard. But at the end of the day they are just trying to sell their goods and services for a profit, make a living for their families. Its just that they are in an industry that is so heavily lobbied by politics that gives them a opportunity to profit where we the general public do not have those opportunities in our careers.

The office manager was beyond rude, violated HIPPA, acted in place of the doctor. Against my wishes, she openly addressed my medical issues.I only wanted to see if my files made it over from my previous primary care. She was Accusatory and uncouth. She did not offer a solution and blamed me.Completely unprofessional. She did not address the issue with staff and the misinformation and told me it “ was my fault for not reading the forms”. I spent weeks waiting for files to transfer, transparent with the DR the time of my appointment about my needs and to my understanding the dr & staff were okay with working with me,.I was told by her, after she read my charts “They would not accept me as a patient” After 3 weeks of waiting, it sure would have liked to known upfront so that I could have found a more appropriate doctor. Deeply upset is an understatement .I will have to take another day off of work, request a file transfer again (10-14day waiting). My patient confidentiality rights were compromised ...To be discriminated against had truly disturbed me. I cannot believe I was so disrespected.
