This hospital is awful. Not only have I dealt with them as a patient in the past, but now I am dealing with them, as a family member, living in another state. I am glad that the nurse supervisor I spoke to said she will be correcting the situation, but as an RN myself, I would NEVER treat a patients family the way ours was treated by one of their ER nurses.

Horrible place and rude nurses. I was not able to go in with my wife into the ER because of covid protocol and even being full vaccinated so I had to sit in my hot car on a 85 degree day it is now going on 4 hours and still she is not in a exam room. I am so done with this place and their hateful staff. Having to sit and wait on a 85 degree day in my car is beyond ridiculous. Terrible attitudes and staff. Wish I could give a zero😡😡😡😡😡

I had to choose an emergency room Friday to get some help with a problem I had been having and seemed to get really bad all of the sudden, I chose RMC in Anniston for several reasons and was really glad I did, my wife and I were very pleased with the whole experience, they got me into a bed in a very timely manner and the staff was professional and courteous and got down to business and took care of my problem quickly and proficiently. Dr Christen spent plenty of time with us finding out the facts and giving me not only the correct treatment but also explained my situation in detail and I left there a lot better off in several ways than when we arrived, thanks to all of you involved

Really cant believe this hospital. I arrived at around 2 am was in the lobby for about 30 minutes before taken back to a room. I was in that room for approximately 4 hours and had a nurse ask questions then a lady came in to get my billing information and sign papers, then I think it was a doctor and nurse came in looked at my arm twice the size of the other one. Told the nurse something then left. Still waiting finally I got up and walked out. A nurse approached me and said oh! We havent ordered you anything, sorry she said. I went back into the room waiting again. Finally I seen I wasnt going to get any help here so I left. GOT TO BE THE WORLDS WORST HOSPITAL. DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT HELP....

Actually. Dont come here. Go to Birmingham. Or the local medicine dealer youd get better service.

If only there was a zero! My sister is pregnant and we have been in the waiting room for hours! We asked them nicely if she could get a room bc there are sick people and she doesn’t need to get sick! She is throwing up blood. And they told us to wait.

I wish I could give this hospital 0 stars. After being admitted and put in a room the computer alarm that was attached to my arm would go off. The nurse would just turn it off and walk away. Then Ten minutes later the alarm would go off again. This continued for 4 hours. The nurses were all sitting at the station, all 3 of them while the alarm continued to go off. It was very annoying and loud. The nurses would just stand around and gossip. This is the absolute worst hospital I have ever been too!!!

Have received great care here at this hopsital and needed a nueorsurgon and was transferred quickly.

Terrible staff. Three separate nurses said they would get our nurse for us and she still failed to appear. There was barely any other patients and my mother in law had to lay there for hours in pain. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

Back in 1995 Dr Shiver tried to shove medicine down my throat and choked me when I had swollen eyes real bad and cried. Back on July 3rd, 1996 when I busted my left hand on a rock he did a horrible job and physically abused me while he stabbed me with serenge and injected my hand with the wrong medicine and nobody wouldnt stop him from hurting me and he was always rude to me and other patients. If I ever come back to rmc emergency room I would use someone else besides Dr.Ron Shiver.

Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option. I would glady choose a gruesomely painful death than ever return to this E.R.
