He treats my father who is also a veteran. The VA cardiologists in Birmingham said there was nothing that could be done and sent him home to die. Dr. Salame disagreed and saved my fathers life with an operation the VA refused to do! He goes above and beyond to give great care to his patients. He is a gifted surgeon with capabilities unmatched by the VA cardiologists. Thank you Dr. Salame, for giving us so much more time with our father.

My mother was placed in an exam room and forgotten. When I asked, Did he forget we were here? I was told I guess so, hasnt he been in yet? We had heard him in the adjoining room, so we know he was there. We finally walked out.This is no way to treat any patient/client, especially am elderly person who has to rely on others for transportation.They were clearly over booked.

He is really trying to help me with my health problems. He is straight forward and tells it like it is. I believe that if i do my part, i will see improvement in my health.
